See the sniper's slight color difference? What really made him stand out was the hat.

Eleos's trick might be luck. That's one of the reasons John has gotten this far.

Thing is I also really need a decent fire type for the upcoming Gym (Jasmine, the steel type Gym Leader.)

Look for a hat. Kinda like a fedora like what the Sniper in TF2 wears, except it blends into the background slightly.

Unfortunately...Eleos hasn't exactly been lucky...

First off: the final battle with him and the bio-computer overlord.
In a last stand attempt by the remaining survivors of the resistance, they charge the main fortress where the biocomputer is. Eleos goes in with a single special bullet designed to destroy the systems of the computer aspect of the overlord. however, a shield protects the part where the bullet has to go and the shield can only be disrupted by biological entities and thus he cannot get close enough to deliver the final blow. His team-mate (and heavily implied future fiancé) Neria shows up and fights along side him. then the bio computer drops some explosives and sends both of them flying. Neria is heavily wounded but could survive, but then she happens to pass through the barrier, creating an opening. Eleos notices that he can take the shot and destroy the bio-computer's systems, but he would be shooting through the girl he loves...through her heart and thus killing her. He had to choose in a split second: Take the shot and save the desolated republic? Or not take the shot and save the woman he loved? Unfortunately, option 2 was impossible because this was the first, the last, and only chance of destroying the bio-computer.
He took the shot.
Thus, after killing Neria, he then finished off the biological aspect of the overlord and successfully liberated the old republic. unfortunately, everyone was dead. Their last stand was indeed their last. After the dust of the battle settled, only Eleos remained. He liberated his homeland...for almost nothing.

EDIT:
Though...I guess you can say he was lucky to be alive after the battle...

Honestly I don't need to worry about Snipers.

Then John and Eleos are similar. :p

He was kidnapped from his family at the age of 6, put through a brutal, inhumane training program, sliced open and heavily augmented, watched as all of his fellow Spartan-IIs died, watched his friend Avery die, then lost Cortana when she died. Cortana was the only thing keeping John going. Without her, John is a psychologically broken hero. All in all, he's incredibly lucky, but his blessing is his curse. He will survive ANYTHING you throw at him, but everyone that he cares about will die.

Medic Camp - Gensokyo

Isaac quickly looked over to Cirno and motioned her to come over.

"I need you to help me with Koishi. Right now she's suffering from a bad fever and might die. What I need you to do is create some ice and place it on the table beside the cot. Don't make the ice too big, make them about as large as your fist.", Isaac said to Cirno as he continued to cool Koishi off with the wet cloth.
