[OOC Board] - All the World's a Game

    The Story

The year was 2031. It was a cautious year, to be certain. The recent war between China and America had come to a close, both parties taking severe loses but gaining mutual respect once again, ending their 8 year war with a treaty. The true enemy of the People’s Republic was not Red-blooded Americans or their allies, but the conniving minds in the Middle-eastern countries. Goaded by the terrorist cells implanted in their respective countries, the two superpowers used their remaining resources to push Iran, which was revealed to be one of the terrorist hotspots, to surrender all leaders of terror immediately. There was no agreement, no compromise. Faced with the two superpowers as well as their allies, the president of Iran reluctantly turned the country over into the hands of the American and Chinese forces, effectively turning the country into a state not unlike Berlin after World War 2. Terrorism quickly declined to the lowest point in over 17 years as the result of new and powerful anti-terrorism efforts headed by the best and brightest of military minds.

With the threat of homeland invasion gone, the Americans sluggishly returned to their normal jobs and lifestyles. The war effort had created many jobs, partially due to the lack of returning soldiers as a result of long and bloody battles. Thankfully, with the almost benign case of terrorism then, they were given gift of an almost peaceful Earth. There was another gift, which was in all actuality one of the spoils of the victorious war on terrorism. Iranian scientists, in conjunction with terrorist leaders, were working on software and technology to effectively brainwash certain groups of people from the simple television set. Their methods were to implant small but powerful Ti-Glo chips into the popular gaming systems of the world, knowing how many young adults play video games. They would create a force of sleeper agents with the technology, and as such, would tip terrorism over the edge.

Thankfully, as a result of the war, such technology was never implemented. However, after four years of research and tinkering, the Ti-Glo chip that was confiscated was stripped of its usual programming to support a new feature: fully immersive gaming. The chip also sported a new name: the Atlas Project. The Iranian scientists who worked in conjunction with the terrorists had access to the finest technology money could buy, and as a result, the chip became the template for the biggest leap in gaming mankind would ever see. As the government of America found no fault with handing over the chip, the world’s game companies rushed to pour their money into procuring the chip.

Recent studies on the chip after it was implanted in current consoles showed that it effectively destroyed the systems after but an hour of play. As a stroke of good luck, the chip worked as intended. It sent signals into the consoles, which, when relayed, allowed the characters of the inserted games to interact with and actually see the user, opening up many gaming possibilities. When the game companies realized their systems would not stand up to the chip’s requirements, they came together to create a new company: “Horizon”. Horizon quickly set out to build a tougher system to withstand the Atlas Project.

After millions of systems were created and games were fabricated, users who bought the systems began to notice things the testing department missed. The characters, although simple to interact with and reply to, had tendencies to not react at all to the user as a result of their personalities or reasons built into the game. Patches were sent out to rectify the problem, but in reality, the signals the Atlas Project used were made stronger to prevent the characters from having too much free will. Still… nothing changed. In fact, the signals drove the characters to drastically change their personalities, and their interactions with the player became more hostile, even harming them.

But Horizon would not back down from this new challenge. They needed something that could rectify the free will of the characters, and the only option at hand was to supercharge the signals into the Atlas Project chip, hoping that the frequency and ferocity would overwhelm the characters to the point of submission. In 2039, Horizon constructed a radio tower near their headquarters for this purpose and installed the Atlas Project in it along with a supercharged file of all known games to be affected, then, when all was set, the signals were sent from the tower. Instead of progress, the entire western hemisphere lost power for an hour, which was all the time needed for a large, blinding flash to appear from the tower.

    And suddenly it was over.

The light came back to the western hemisphere, and many of the inhabitants wondered what the large, blinding flash was. To the main game companies horror, Horizon's main building of operation and tower were completely destroyed. Sparks erupted from the ruins, and at first they were small and insignificant. As time passed, the sparks began to take shape, to mold into a character. Realistic, living things had been born. Scientists scrambled for an answer for this and found it in the electrical particles. They noticed a noticeable change in the atmosphere and discovered that the signals sent into the Atlas Project overtook the characters and NPCs of games and transferred them into solid-based conducts of electrical particles. These particles, once within the real world would release that barrier and the character would be born.

At first, people were terrified and began to panic. Then, they settled and were crazed about the characters. However, certain events caused people to doubt that they could function right with normal and daily life with real people. Characters that were made evil were too hard to be handled with, while others caused religion to take a turn for the worse. The Government began to fear that this would be a threat to life itself if action wasn't taken, so they strictly had the characters in each country be put into specific camps for easy management. Within these camps, the characters were quickly sorted out based on the corporations that created them, race, power level, morality, and other fields. If there was no way of sending the characters back to where they belonged, and if there was public outcry against simply disposing of them, the governments made a unanimous choice…

    Assimilation.

Like societies and cultures before, the characters were assimilated into society. Those who were normal enough found stability in the world by taking jobs suited to their skills, while others had a much harder time finding their niche. A few characters that were once good found opportunities too good to pass up and decided to look down on the humans they once protected. They housed superior abilities, and as such, no longer wanted to serve the good of all mankind. However, many characters that were considered evil found a similar opportunity, but they chose to redeem themselves on this Tabula Rasa. Sadly, most of the characters faced discrimination in this world that created them. While many believe they can overthrow the normal humans, some believe they have aces up their sleeves that they only reveal when backed into corners.

The year is 2042. There are whispers of strange organizations in the shadows using characters for their own selfish gains, of rogue characters wanting to unleash hell upon Earth. There are those who wish to stop them, like SCAE (Special Character Apprehension and Elimination), and there are others who want to join them. This is where you come in. Are you a humble character trying to fit into this crazy world, or are you on the sidelines, plotting away? Will you rise to glory by protecting the humans who distrust you, or will you give them further incentive to fear you? What will you do? On this volatile Earth, anything goes. Now, choose your character. Press start. Play.

((TL;DR Version: USA gets in war with China, Middle Eastern terrorists are to blame, USA finds special chip and uses it for videogames, Horizon screws up and brings characters into this world. Things take a few years to settle down, and characters have integrated themselves into modern society, except for those who haven't. ))

    Rules - FAQ

    1. One character per person. This is important since we'll be interacting with each other, however there may be exceptions. In fact, if you so wish, you can have a supporting character that is purely for the sake of advancing the RP. For instance, if you are worried that the player you are partnered up with will be inactive, you are free to create another character, but you MUST SUBMIT AN APP.

    2. If you address another character, make sure to notify who is speaking by following this format:
    Code:
    [COLOR="#000000"][b]Location - ((@PlayerName))[/b]
    [HR][/HR][i]Body[/i][/COLOR]
    3. Absolutely no racism, no argumentative drama, and no negativity toward others. These won't be allowed. A little romance is fine, arguments between the characters and not the users is okay, and jokes displayed from characters will be accepted.

    4. Do not overpower your character. There are some who are godly, but this is an RP so make it as fair as possible. It doesn't limit your choice; just don't make your character invincible, as every meaningful character must be flawed.

    5. Stay with the story. Don't make it turn to your own direction because it sets everyone off. I shall direct the story, but if you feel you have an amazing idea where the story can lead to then please PM me with it.

    6. If you wish to discuss the RP or to debate on an action with a few other players, please do it in the OOC board. OOC debates in the IC thread is not recommended, so bring it here.

    7. If something doesn't go your way or you feel something is unfair, please notify one of the Game Masters. This includes things like if you wish to change your character or if you want your recent one die off.

    8. By contributing to this RP with your application, you agree to be active enough to reply in a timely manner.

    9. Your character must originate from a videogame, not a comicbook, movie, or book that received a videogame.

    10. Rules are subject to change at any time.

    11. Touhou Project characters are, of course, allowed. But... Some diversity would be lovely.

    12. Do not powergame. Your characters have limits, as does the patience of other players.

    Application Information

Please follow the guidelines for applications below. There should be genuine effort put into your applications before you post them into the thread. Remember, pick a character you will enjoy playing as.

    Code:
[COLOR="#000000"][b]Name:[/b] ((Your username so people can recognize who is playing as who/what.))

[b]Timezone:[/b] ((To avoid inactivity, and to set up groups, I will need to know this.))

[b]NPC Character of Choice:[/b] ((The character you are going as, can be a male, female, or sentient creature.))

[b]Game of Origin:[/b] ((What game did this character first appear in?))

[b]Power:[/b] ((What can they do or what abilities do they possess?))

[b]Weapons:[/b] ((Do they carry any gadgets, swords, guns, or anything that they use in combat? You will not use them all, so do not think you can.))

[b]Weaknesses:[/b] ((What makes them fragile or causes them to be at a disadvantage?))

[b]Appearance:[/b] ((What do they look like? Be very descriptive. You will also have to post a picture of them ether with a link or post it on your Character Sheet so everyone knows how they look.))

[b]Personality:[/b] ((How are they like? Do they behave in a certain way or like doing particular activities? When you RP as one, you don't have to act just like they would in the game, but don't make them totally different from how they really are. However, you can develop the character!))

[b]Morality:[/b] ((Lawful Good? Chaotic Evil? True Neutral? What kind of person are they?))

[b]Biography:[/b] ((What is their history like? How did they come to be of what they are today? Anything that involves their past or what they do for a living.))

[b]Traumas:[/b] ((Anything they fear most? What causes them to have a flashback and remember a horrible event that chills them?))

[b]Notes:[/b] ((This is where you let us know how you feel about the RP or your Schedule. If you are busy during certain hours or anything that is useful to our RP, put it down. Also, anything else you want us to know about your character you can put in too. It's pretty much whatever you'd like us to know about you or the character.))[/COLOR]

    Can I get a tl;dr version?

    Application!
Name: pigrid3r. Commonly known as Wriggurun in Mumble.
    Timezone: Pacific Time Zone.
NPC Character of Choice: Yuuka Kazami (I was actually torn between Yuuka and Wriggle, but for the Survival of the Fittest purposes, Yuuka. Don't worry she won't be uber.)
Game of Origin: Touhou 4: Lotus Land Story.
Power: To not make it too uber, Manipulation of flower and scent. Above-average fighting level, general capability to use firearms, slight medical knowledge.
Weapons: Parasol. But it doesn't shoot lasers like it does in Touhou, but it still has defensive capabilities. Can block multitude of bullets incoming, but can't do much to explosives.
Weaknesses: Mentioned above, explosives, as well as fire.
Appearance: Just like Yuuka in PoFV. Maybe a bit less flat.
Personality: Just like Yuuka in Fanon. A bit sadistic, but kind nonetheless.
Morality: Lawful Evil. She will stick to her friends and comrades, but only to fulfill her own goal.
    Biography:
Yuuka is a young Japanese florist who lives in a florist shop at the outskirt of Tokyo.
    She is currently 23.
Her goal is to seek vengeance on the Yakuza gang that murdered her parents and, later on, her caretaker, the former floral shop who took in Yuuka as a granddaughter. To do so, Yuuka sought out for the most dangerous
flowers in Japan, using their petals and buds as toxins.
    Trauma:
Yuuka is internally afraid of fire, due to her affiliation with flower. She is also environmentally conscious.
    Notes:
    - Player note:
*Can perform at hourly basis, but might miss some moments.
*Has no idea what's going on actually

    - Character note:
*Being Lawful Evil does not put her into a Villain category. It just means she seeks extreme violence for justice.
*She does not trust both Chinese nor American. During the war, she fired at both Chinese and American soldiers on sight. She has a cache of both heavy and light firearm in one of the florist shop warehouse.
*Her childhood friend, Nitori Kawashiro, (Idk if anyone would RP her. If not, she is just a minor character who supplies Yuuka with machinaries.) owns a mechanic store near Yuuka's florist shop. Yuuka frequently visits Nito ri for mechanical assistance. They form a two-man (or woman, perhaps) hit-team when it comes to assaulting the Yakuza.

It protects her from darkness and physical attacks.

      Weapons: Keyblade, Stormfall
      http://images.wikia.com/kingdomheart...fall_KHBBS.png

Weaknesses: While capable at fighting physically, it's not her best side. She is a normal human so anything that would hurt a normal person will hurt her.

Appearance: She have blue hair and blue eyes. She wears a black and blue, high-collared halter top, two pink, intersecting belts over her chest, and black shorts. She have a silver badge formed like a heart with a cross at the bottom on her chest. On her arms are white bell-sleeves and tan, fingerless gloves. She also wears a small, segmented piece of armor on each of her upper arms. She wears what appear to be black stockings or socks on her legs which reach to about halfway up her thighs, leaving a small area of bare skin on her upper thighs. Aqua also bears two strips of blue cloth that drape over either side of her hips, along with a smaller, white strip of cloth tied around her waist, draped in the same manner. Finally, she wears pointed, armored, silver boots with a sharp "hook" on the outer side of each.

Her armor is mostly colored in shades of silver, black, grey and blue. Notable additions include a silver breastplate resembling an upside-down crescent moon and a dark-visored helmet. Her helmet bears two prongs on either side, with her silver ones wrapping around the sides and angling diagonally downwards. Her cape is that of a dusty-rose color.

In the real world she continues to search for her friends Ventus and Terra.

Traumas: Nothing to bad she is just worried for her Friends Ventus and Terra

Notes: A idea i had was that Aqua think that she is only visiting another normal world. When she tries to leave to world (something she will try eventually) it fails. This also means that she knows a little bit about fitting in in other worlds.
      Born in the light.
      Molded in the dark

Timezone: Australia , UTC+10. Expect a post every day if there can be.

          Character: DAD
          Game: Dadgame. http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/510279

Power: Producing various items from his mouth. Having 5 Lives on Normal Difficulty (currently on his last one.). Making people explode from playing a guitar. Spontaneously combusting when he breaks things.

Weapons: Entire body. Various handheld melee weapons that he produces from his mouth. Produces an interesting and highly destructive effect when playing an electric guitar. Shoots small, low-output lasers from his eyes, which can hold up to a maximum of five shots before having to recharge by ingesting a battery.

Weaknesses: Falling large distances. Monkeys. Getting stomped on. Distractions. No communication skills other than vigorous clubbing or spinning. May or may not understand English.

Appearance: Dad is bald, pot-bellied, and wears a white business shirt, red tie, and blue pants. His scalp will periodically burst into flames. Other than that, he is unremarkable, except for his permanent friendly smile. He may or may not sprout various pieces of headwear or hair based on what he currently has in his hands.

Personality: Insane. A "glass half-full" mentality. Idea of nigh-indestructibility reinforced by actual nigh-indestructibility. However, sufficient physical trauma without pause, or falling from a sufficiently high altitude, like off the top of a skyscraper, can lead to him losing his last life. Dad is physically incapable of speaking because of his mouth being stuck in a smile. Dad never pauses to consider his actions and their possible consequences before destroying everything in a monstrous tornado of testosterone and limbs.

          Morality: Dad

Biography: Dad was, and still is, a Dad. He stole his superior's evil plans and burned then. Then he fought the police, knocked out two football players, defeated a contingent of rocket cops, fought a train robot, destroyed a shopping mall, bullied a monkey, and then destroyed a dinosaur robot. His current whereabouts are unknown, but he is suspected to have abducted his two children from their government-sponsored caretakers and is thought to be operating in Washington at the moment because of the sudden disappearance of the Washington Monument, discovered a few hours later in the Potomac. The president and his Executive Cabinet are already aboard Air Force One as a safety precaution.
Traumas: Monkeys tossing grenades, being tackled off a roof by Footy Players.

          Notes:
-He may not be a NPC, but he's DAD. If I can't play as him I've got another few characters lined up.
-Dad's near-omnipotence is drastically hindered by his lack of judgement and communicative skills, and he is not invincible in all regards. He lost four lives when he challenged Pacman to a pill-eating contest. It should be noted, that Pacman is now in a vegetative state caused by a near-fatal overdose of point pills.
          - Dad may or may not be searching for the item that will help him restore his four lives lost.

              Name: S121

Time Zone: Alamogordo, NM (Mountain Time Zone UTC−07:00)

              Character: John-117

              Game: Halo franchise.

              Appearance: halo_4_master_chief-t2.jpg

Abilities: Spartan-II Cybernetic Enhancements. Carbide Ceramic Ossification (virtually unbreakable bones), Muscular Enhancement Injections (increased tissue density and lactose recovery time), Catalytic Thyroid Implant (boosted growth of skeletal and muscle tissues), Occipital Capillary Reversal (increased visual perception),
Superconducting Fibrification of Neural Dendrites (1400% increase in subject reflexes and increase in intelligence, memory, and creativity). An uncanny amount of luck...

              Stats:

Height - 6 ft 10 in (unarmored), 7 ft 2 in (in armor).

Weight - 182 kilograms (400 lb), and about 453 Kilos (1,000 lb) with armor on.

Speed- Can run at a maximum of around 105 km/h or 65.2 mph, but risks injury at this speed.

Strength - Capable of lifting three times his body weight, which is double the normal weight of an average human. The suit increases his strength by a factor of five.
Able to lift cars and flip tanks (depending on tank, heavier ones need leverage).

Reflexes - SPARTAN-II's reaction time is impossible to chart accurately, but estimated to be twenty milliseconds. It is significantly faster in combat situations.
In fact, it is so fast that they are able to think, react and see things happen in slow and fast motion - it is dubbed as "SPARTAN Time".
The suit increases them further by a factor of five!

Misc - Increased intelligence by augumentation, also known for being able to virtually see in the dark. Incredibly lucky. As Spartans age, they become faster and stronger, due to their bodies adapting to augmentation.

Skills: Hand-to-hand combat expertise (Spartan Training), trained to use a wide variety of guns, Command and Assault Specialist, was leader of Blue Team, high-level education,
and well versed in military tactics.

Equipment: MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor MK VII, 12.7 x 40mm (Semi-Armor Piercing,High Explosive) M6D Magnum Pistol,
a 9.5x40mm (Semi-Armor Piercing,High Explosive) BR85HB SR Battle Rifle, 4 fragmentation grenades, 4 plasma grenades, and an armor lock mechanism within the suit.

Weaknesses: Despite all of his strengths, weapons, armor, and skill, he is still just a human, which means he can be killed. Without his armor, he can be killed by damaging his vital organs.
His soft body tissues are very durable, but they can still be damaged.
The armor's shields can be overloaded if he sustains too much damage, then it's a matter of damaging the armor. If he's not careful with his armorlock, he will end up being
exposed to attacks or being surrounded.

Morality: "Chief Petty Officer Mendez always instilled discipline, honor, and respect into the SPARTANs. He taught the SPARTANs how to kill, but at the same time he taught them the
              difference between right and wrong."
That being said, The Chief is Neutral Good. He will follow his commanding officer's orders, but if it is morally wrong or negligent, he won't.
During the events on Requiem, he tries to convince Captain Del Rio that the Didact is a threat.
Risking imprisonment, he then refuses to relinquish his friend Cortana and decides to go after the Didact anyway. In the end, his actions saved the Earth from the Didact's wrath.

Personality: Strives to succeed in any situation, tenacious to complete any mission at hand, not devoid of fear, but he simply acknowledges it and puts it aside,
while never openly showing it to others, generally stoic and taciturn, but not devoid of a sense of humor, often makes dry remarks about the situation at hand,
he is a man of his word and strives to keep any promise he makes, even at great personal risk.
Although John has difficulty understanding the 'undisciplined' lifestyle of civilians, he is fiercely protective of their lives and humanity as a whole.
The mass slaughter of civilians at the hands of the Covenant was enough to drive even the stoic John into a merciless rage.
John is known to show an exceptional care for soldiers under his command, while at times viewing them as a liability rather than an asset.
This is not to say that John was previously without compassion. <----Summary of the Wiki.
As time progresses, he may start to open up to those around him.

Bio: After finding out that everything he had gone through was meaningless, he fell into a deep depression. His life, his sacrifices, the people he's seen die in horrible ways, his only friend, Cortana, was all but a game; a dream. He was nothing but a fictional character, thought up by game designers.
He couldn't make connections with people because he wasn't trained for that. He wasn't trained to feel, he was trained to be the ultimate soldier.
He had nothing... nothing exept for one thing. His training. He pushed himself to at least live through his depression.
He's done the same thing before with the loss of his friends; even more so recently, with the loss of his only friend Cortana. To him, he was a soldier, a soldier without a flag, without meaning.
Trying to find meaning in his life once more, he tried to join the army. His only problem was that he was promptly denied. The world was not going to let each country recruit these "fictional" characters; there would be even more chaos than before.
Looking for the next best thing, he joined a local police force as he thought to himself, "What do I have to lose by making a difference..."

Traumas: He has fears, but he doesn't let them get in the way; he simply acknowledges them and pushes them aside. Other than that, he has no mind numbing fears.
He is however sympathetic to loss, ever since he lost someone he cared about. It has been mentioned that he cares for and will do whatever it takes to protect civilians.
This is possibly his berserk button, if they are being slaughtered. He has a hard time adjusting to civilian life, being that he has been nothing but a soldier all his life.
He doesn't seem to suffer from PTSD or anything like that. When he is unsure of a situation, he falls back on his training for support.

Notes: I'll tie the police force into the town with the most characters. Who knows? Killing Yakuza sounds interesting...
He's looking for someone that can supply him with his ammo and perhaps reverse engineer and copy his grenades too...

@Wriggle: Alright, while I enjoy the idea of Yuuka running around, I want to clarify something for you. The war between the USA and China was merely a catalyst for the arrival of the characters. It was by Horizon's influence that characters were introduced into the world. The war has been over for years, and characters were not a part of it, as they were not there. In 2042, the world is tipsy and on the edge, fearing that the countries might use these characters as superweapons. If you could work on your backstory a bit more, I'll gladly accept Yuuka into the RP. [PENDING]

@Katrix: Hmm... Aqua, eh? Seems like a jack of all trades to me, but who am I to judge when I reveal my own character? [ACCEPTED]

@Kristia: I'm interested to see how you handle a creature. I've had one before that failed terribly, but I have confidence in your writing abilities, so I'm looking forward to how you play the strong, silent type. [ACCEPTED]

@MHimF: I looked at your application, laughed, then played the game. Oh lordy. While he's a fun guy, and I know he'll be a barrel of laughs, his stunts are going to have a lot of players wanting him dead, possibly. I'll accept it for now. [ACCEPTED]

@S121: The obligatory super-soldier, eh? Alrighty then. [ACCEPTED]

Special Note: I understand that the whole world is a playground for the players. When the RP is up, forming groups is a must unless you want to feel burned out. And don't worry about being close to someone. As it seems so far, people want to be in Japan because there will be action there... But, it's always nice to start out in a completely random location, like Siberia. Someone will be bound to stumble across you. Travel will be accomplished by various means of transportation, but run it by me before making any huge jumps.

                Name: Major Mario

                Timezone: UTC/GMT -5 hours

NPC Character of Choice: Leon Scott Kennedy

                Appearance:

                Full Body

Game of Origin: Resident Evil 2

Power: While Leon, being a human being, possesses no extraordinary powers of healing or strength, he does have in his repertoire a rather extensive set of skills. He is an incredible marksman, being able to easily make head shots from over fifty yards and rarely missing his intended target. He is able to dual-wield handguns effectively, being that they are his prominent weapon of choice, although he is also proficient with other weapons. In close quarter combat, Leon shows an ambidextrous affinity for knives. His talent with knives also includes using them as a thrown weapon, and he prefers to use them for close encounters.

"Bit of advice: try using knives next time, works better for close encounters," Leon to Ada Wong during the events of Resident Evil 4.

In addition to his mastery of weapons, Leon is an accomplished unarmed combatant, being able to do a variety of kicks and suplexes. In terms of physical fitness, Leon is in peak physical condition. He is very acrobatic with incredible reflexes, being able to perform various flips and evasive maneuvers to avoid lasers, enemy attacks, debris, and other obstacles. He is a quick thinker and can react instantly to any situation in order to survive. In addition, he seems to be able recover from injuries incredibly quickly and seems to be extremely resilient. While in Lanshiang (RE6), Leon showed some degree of piloting capability as he was able to keep a helicopter he and Helena Harper were in in the air for an extended period of time, even after skimming along the side of a moving train. Leon was also able to crash-land the airplane he and Helena were on, though this was mostly through the guidance of Ingrid Hunnigan.

                Weapons:
                Double Wing Shooter (Semi-Auto)
                + 18 round magazines.
+ Uses 9x19mm Parabellum Handgun ammunition
                Survival knife

                Weaknesses:
                - 'Only Human'
                - Obligations
                - Women
                - Bane of a car's existence

Personality: Able to keep his composure in most circumstances, making him much more confident though arrogant and cocky at times, Leon is very compassionate and objective. Leon does things even when he doesn't have to because he knows that what he is doing is for the greater good. His mostly friendly nature makes him quick to make friends, although at the same time Leon is very quick to oppose people who threaten others. He seems to care very deeply for some of the people he rescues. He goes to great lengths to protect them all despite not knowing them. He has also been shown to go back and forth from being cold and focused to passionate in his missions, and is regretful of those who die under his care or those who perish when he could have saved them. Even in times of danger Leon will often brighten the mood or just keep a calm composure even in front of his enemies. In times like these, his sarcastic, joking side emerges.

Leon has been shown to flirt with some of the women he encounters, although he rarely seems to have any luck with that.

                Morality: Lawful Good.

Biography: Leon's history is littered with strife and hardship, mostly at the hands of the Umbrella Corporation, which was a giant conglomerate that operated ruthlessly as a major international player in a number of markets; including pharmaceuticals and medical equipment along with top-secret operations utilizing genetic engineering and biological weaponry. He joined the Raccoon City Police department to protect innocents and immediately found himself thrust into the Raccoon City incident where most of the population was infected with the T-Virus. With the assistance of Claire Redfield and the shifty Ada Wong, Leon and Claire managed to escape from Raccoon City with a young girl named Sherry Birkin, all the while knowing the horrors the Umbrella Corporation had brought onto the city.

After his experience in Raccoon City, and the fact that trudging through an Umbrella Research facility had shown him more than what people wanted him to know, he was put to work by the United States government. He was thrust into the Secret Service as a special agent and received extensive training. An incident in Spain demanded Leon's attention, especially since the president's daughter, who was kidnapped earlier, was sighted there. There he encountered Las Plagas, a parasitic virus of sorts that turned men and women into mindless drones. He was injected with the parasite during the events of the mission, but it was destroyed before it could fully take control of him.

Many more incidents would demand his attention, and he felt obligated to attend to them. He assisted Claire Redfield again in the Harvardville incident and encountered Ada Wong again in the Eastern Slav Republic while on a 'hero trip'. While serving as president Adam Benford's bodyguard (and most trusted friend), Leon experienced yet another Raccoon City. He was forced to kill the infected president to save agent Helena Harper's life and was led along by her as she explained her innocence and revealed the truth behind the infection, which was caused by a new virus called the C-Virus. Eventually, the two agents went to China to pursue and kill Derrick Simmons, the perpetrator of the Tall Oaks attack.

Successful in their efforts, the two agents returned to America along with others who experienced the horrors in Lanshiang. However, just as things seemed to be settling down, Leon was transported to an alternate Earth. Bioterrorism was extremely rare there. There was no T-Virus. No zombies. His life, as he discovered, was merely a game. Disgusted, Leon scoured the world for anyone who would tell him differently. Burned out and left with no money, he dropped down in Tokyo to appeal to CAPCOM, hoping for employment. Because he was more fit for a North American lifestyle, he was considered for a position in the American government, but SCAE found other uses for him... Primarily that of a desk jockey.

Traumas: The horrors of bioterrorism are still fresh in Leon's mind, and will most likely remain there for all eternity. However, the horrors pale in comparison to what he faced in Raccoon City while on his first and only day as a police officer. If reminded of such events, he will become either objected or adopt a thousand-yard stare for a moment. He does not confide in others about his experiences.

Notes: Don't let him drive anything.

I thought that I would expand his story a bit by saying that he was originally going to join the army, but was quickly shot down on that exact fact,
that the other countries would not let that happen, so he had to get a "smaller" job. (Updating Bio).

I would also recommend looking at equipment. I thought of giving him an armor ability.
Armor Lock, when being used, makes him rooted to the ground and invulnerable, but can leave him exposed afterword.
He basically overcharges his shields, with the sacrifice of them going out afterward. I was assuming he had this ability, considering that he's capable of orbital drops.

I think it's balanced, what do you think?

Interesting, another character that does not want to believe it was just a game (tough Aqua still does not believe it).
                        Born in the light.

                        Keep Fighting.
                        –Don't Forget.
                        Always, somewhere,
                        someone is fighting for you.
–As long as you remember her,

The placement of your characters is up to you. I've included the biography field in applications to allow players to think "Gee, what would this character be doing in this world". For example, if you picked Joe Everyman, he could be punching boulders with a construction crew in Italy.

Oh yea, I forgot my timezone. Mountain Time Zone UTC−07:00

I also updated the character a little bit (more fleshed out bio and new ability).

Also calculated strength. He can flip a Scorpion tank (66 metric tons). Perhaps his maximum strength? Perhaps too strong? What do you think?

Mabe I should say that he can flip tanks, if leverage permits? I think that he could simply move cars, not throw them.

                              Tank stats on right panel.
