Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.
You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

After hearing Koishi speak, Isaac knew what she was going through.
"Koishi, I know why you think the hat is alive. What you're suffering from is a delusion. It has happened to me, so I know what I'm talking about. I had the same problem when my girlfriend, Nicole, died. I was so wrapped up in guilt that I still kept seeing her, and actually believed that she was still there, despite the fact that she died. The reason why you think the hat is alive must be because you are afraid of being alone, truly alone, so you created an entity to fill that void. You think that everyone has abandoned you, but that is not true.", Isaac sincerely said to Koishi as he finally caught up with her.

Koishi curled herself into the fetal postion, rocking back and forth as she floated in the air, still hugging the hat.

Seeing Koishi panic, Isaac hovered right in front of her, put his hands on her shoulders, and retracted his helmet.
"Then ignore the voices and focus only on me. I do understand what you are going through, and I do care about you. If you think I'm lying, then read my mind.", Isaac said to Koishi.
That was when Isaac heard a woman fly up behind him.
"Koishi's not feeling well.", Isaac responded, still looking at Koishi.

"I think she's reading everyone's mind. We need to get her to a secluded area. Do you know of anywhere?", Isaac asked Byakuren.

"Don't worry. We'll get you somewhere quiet.", Isaac assured Koishi.
Isaac then grabbed Koishi, held her in his arms, turned to Byakuren and followed suit, flying right beside her.

Myouren Temple
Byakuren stepped into the ground of Myouren Temple, a buddhist temple built on top of a ship. It seemed miraculous how it wasn't destroyed at all.
"Araa, the protective charm worked." Byakuren smiled in relief. "I'm so glad."
