Cavern | Outside Kris's Outpost

Jason into one of slight confusion, but he seemed to understand.

"So I could be dead right now? I didn't think the HiveNET was capable of saving someone's consciousness... Then I guess I better not die anytime soon. Besides, I.. Naw, nevermind. It's stupid. I don't think she really meant it., Jason said, now in a much better disposition than before.

There may be a chance that his father was dead, but there was also a chance that he was alive and waiting. Jason was just happy with knowing that there was a chance that his father was alive.

Jason then began to wash off. Of course, Jason was the kind of person that loved to use his magic for everything. He was the kind of person that would use it for mundane tasks, such as brushing his teeth, or bathing, or stirring soup. In fact, his next trick was something he did all the time.

"Hey Phenom, watch this.", Jason said as he looked up towards his own forehead.

All of a sudden, all the dirt, dust, and blood in Jason's hair began to flake. Once Jason destabilized the grime in his hair, he then rinsed it, getting everything out and emerging completely clean.
Jason may not have been proficient with the combat aspects of his magic, but he was good with the mundane an practical uses of it.

Eric raised his head up a bit to get a good look at the owner of the voice. It was a nurse of Regius, it seemed. Yes, it had to be. The white robes, the red cross, and the fair hair fit for a maiden made this woman the ideal candidate for a nurse. Even the woman's expression was relaxing and fitting for a nurse. A small smile graced the merchant's lips at hearing her question. With a grunt of pain, he raised himself up on his arms to get a better look at the nurse.

"I feel like I skidded on some asphalt after playing in kerosene..." He shook his head. "I know you get this all the time, but... where exactly am I?"

Once Seki was dry and fully clothed, she followed Kris outside so that she could cook any fish Kris happened to catch. She had her doll in hand now and she combed the doll’s hair as she sat down next to the huntress. “You know we could have cooked that mule that followed us in here. Oh wait unless magic head forgot we should have a sac of food somewhere!"

Seki cheered as she tossed the fish bucket up with her foot. With a snap of her fingers she caused a small vortex of fire to form under the bucket that moved quickly enough to hold something solid in the air. “Want your fire rare, medium or well done?”

Kris was enjoying the fishing and thanked Seki for the idea of cooking the fish "Well, lets make it medium Seki, not too much neither too low" she said taking out the insides of the fish leaving only the meat of the food

She was humming a song while handling the fish to the flame magician "I hope those two like fish, it is the only meat we can get without causing problems with the other animals"

Once Jason was done bathing, he then rose from the water and walked out.
That's when he realized that his clothes were covered in blood too.

(Oh well, I'll just have to wash them too...)

Jason grabbed his black leather sleeveless shirt and loose fitting pants and put them in the spring. Once they were thoroughly soaked, Jason then began to vibrate all the dirt and blood off, causing it to flake away from the leather. Once he was done washing them, he then began to dry them. All he did was simply put them on the ground and increase the vibrations of the air molecules around them, causing them to quickly dry. After he finished drying them, Jason then put his clothes on and grabbed his equipment to clean them as well. Jason used the same process to clean his utility harness, but didn't clean his chestplate. He decided to clean that at the outpost.

"See you at the outpost.", Jason said to Phenom as he put the utility harness over his reinforced leather shirt.

Jason then grabbed his hundred pound chestplate and carried it by his side.

Once he made it to the outpost, Jason saw Seki and Kris with a giant fish.

"So, fish for breakfast? It's been a while since I've had fish.", Jason said to Seki and Kris as he put his chestplate on the ground beside him.

Seki was able to cook the fish while combing her doll’s hair and staring off into her own little world. She didn’t even have to concentrate very hard to keep the quick spinning flam afloat while holding the fish bucket up. The gentle sound of The huntress’s voice humming her song inspired Seki to whisper her own little song. She didn't really notice she had started singing.

“la..la la…la la…. La la la~ La..la la…la la…la la la”

She had sang this song once before in the woods while fighting the many soldiers that attacked her. Only this time it was less unsettling and a bit more uplifting. It all depended on her mood I guess.

Kris put the food on a table "Sorry guys, but you will have to use your hands, there are no fancy forks or spoons to use" she said while eating an apple and seating on a chair, suddenly she got a spark of idea.

The huntress took a feather and ink bottle she had stored around and started writing on a piece of paper while humming the same song

The cycle of seasons

Where the wind blows
There is a girl

the autumn starts
and the leaves
make a bed for her

The winter comes
the girl wakes up

the girl gets up

The summer comes
the sky clear is

The season ends
and the cycle starts
all again
as the nature flows...

"Im glad I remembered that writing" she mumbled holding her pendant

(Looks like I have eating utensils.), Jason thought to himself as he smiled.

Jason pulled out both of his black super-condensed Titanium Alloy knives, flicked them both open, and held them vertically, next to each side of his head.

"Who wants me to cut their food for them?", Jason asked Seki and Kris as he smiled.

"Oh, and don't worry, I sterilized them.", he then added.

Seki had put her fish head first into her mouth and had begun chewing on the front part of its body as she let the cooked fish hang from her mouth. She haden’t even bothered to remove its eyes before consuming it. When she finally chewed through the fish’s body, what was left of it fell back onto her lap. She chewed her food a few timed before swallowing it whole. She then proceeded to talk. “Hey rooky, You went back and got all of out food and money from the desert right?”

Jason's smile dropped and his arms returned to his sides as he watched Seki eat her fish in such a bizarre way.
His jaw was dropped open and his eyes narrowed. He now had the look of disbelief.

“Hey rooky, You went back and got all of out food and money from the desert right?”, Seki asked.

Jason quickly snapped out of his disbelief and shook his head. After a split second, he answered Seki's question.

"No. While you were unconscious, we made a trip to my house and grabbed a lot of food and water. I also grabbed some other stuff; my dad's blueprints for different weaons, armor, and other items. It should come in handy if we come across a forge.", Jason said as he sat down to eat his fish.
