Could you specify why they want to team up with dragons? If it is for fast travel then I will just say NO. This is not supposed to be fast.
I would also like to point out that Murkur is a town that lies pretty far south. Most dragons prefer a colder climate. NOTE: Dragons are wild creatures. Taming one is hard.

Yea, just a base idea where we can take of into adjusting it and make a better conclusion.
Come to think about it, I never specified how Frank got the shadow lurker attractant. Okay then, how about this: a hut a good 10 miles north of civilization. Oh, and no dragon taming. But there will be a lot of wild shadow lurkers due to the vast amount of traces of attractant.

Sounds much better. The shadow lurker can then be used for traveling for a small amount off time. Just add it onto you current post. It's kind of short as it is.
