    [Event] The Forgotten Village

Legend has it that there was once a village situated in the forests of Yukkuricraft many decades ago. Within this village, there was a old noble. He was a kind and passionate man of many great skills, and adequate wealth. One day, he stumbled upon an injured horse while trekking through the forest. Being the kind man that he is, he brought it back to the village and cared for it. Through time, the horse healed under the care of the noble and villagers, and became the unofficial symbol of the village. Everyone in the village loved the horse and looked after it, forming a relationship with the horse. The noble and his family, in particular, grew really close to the horse. The horse shared their feelings and proved to be a very loyal pet.

All good things must come to an end however, and five years after the horse was first brought to the village, bandits attacked the village. In the ensuing chaos, a stray arrow struck the horse, fatally injured it. After the battle has subsided, the noble and his family gather to try and save the horse. Their efforts proved futile, and the horse passed away. Struck with grief, the noble seeked the help of a dark wizard, in hope of bringing his beloved horse back from the dead. The wizard told him that it was indeed possible to bring back his beloved horse, but to give a life, one must give a life of equal or higher value. Unknowing in what to do, the noble went back defeated. He conversed with his family on what he has heard, but decided it was not worth to shed a life. His son, having grown up with the horse, disagreed, and snuck out of the house one night, to find the wizard. He offered his own life in return for the horse. The wizard agreed, and no one ever saw the son again.

Finding the horse alive, and his son gone, it didn't taken long for the noble to figure out what happened. Stricken with grief, the noble slowly lost his sanity as he begun treating the horse as his own son. His actions slowly drove away people around him, who also made remarks that the horse does not feel the same as it used to be. Slowly, the villagers moved away, with the noble's remaining family soon following suit, leaving the noble alone with his horse. No one ever saw the two of them again.

No one knows exactly where this village is for its location is forgotten even by those who were once part of it. Recently, adventurers and travelers has started talking about a mysterious abandoned village, it's location varying between 4km and 7km from the capital of Kagome, some saying it could be the village from the legend. Many of these adventurers claim to have seen this village, and hear the distinct noise of a horse. However, none of them could see the horse. Many wanted to approach the village, but none dared, complaining of an "aura" they can sense.

    TLDR:
Rumor says of a forgotten village in the world of Yukkuricraft. It is haunted by the spirit of a horse.

    Event note:
There's only one prize and it's finders keepers. Oh, please leave a sign or a head when you do find it so others would know.

Sometimes you have to accept the fact that certain things will never go back to how they used to be.
