I felt like making a thread to discuss how the Defence events will work in Kagome, especially when there seems to be some disconnect in some communication in terms of it.
If possible, Mobs will have a high range of tracking for players, and will spawn near the front entrance of Kagome. They will then follow through the event area, which is nice and open, easily for players to go hack and slash on them.

The green area is the spawnpoint of the mobs.
The transparent red path will be their path through kagome, until they reach the red glowing spot. If they do, the event is failed.
Blue Rectangles are the gates. Although most likely the main gate will be the only one that will be able to be destroyed.
Blue Circles are the hit spots of the cannons armed on the Main Gate. When firing these, players should give a warning to others before they fire.
To attract the monsters, we might have a ton of villagers underground underneath the big red circle. They will be despawned after event time.
Red beacons have been added and will be turned on when Kagome is under siege, and deactivating during normal times.
More weaponry could probably be added around the red transparent path.
[Edit]Villager shops in the event area also seem to interfere with the path of mobs, for they attack them instead of the gate.
