    Kagome V3 Defence

    I felt like making a thread to discuss how the Defence events will work in Kagome, especially when there seems to be some disconnect in some communication in terms of it.

    If possible, Mobs will have a high range of tracking for players, and will spawn near the front entrance of Kagome. They will then follow through the event area, which is nice and open, easily for players to go hack and slash on them.

    A map created with the following features as follows:


    The green area is the spawnpoint of the mobs.
    The transparent red path will be their path through kagome, until they reach the red glowing spot. If they do, the event is failed.
    Blue Rectangles are the gates. Although most likely the main gate will be the only one that will be able to be destroyed.
    Blue Circles are the hit spots of the cannons armed on the Main Gate. When firing these, players should give a warning to others before they fire.

    To attract the monsters, we might have a ton of villagers underground underneath the big red circle. They will be despawned after event time.

    Red beacons have been added and will be turned on when Kagome is under siege, and deactivating during normal times.

    More weaponry could probably be added around the red transparent path.

    [Edit]Villager shops in the event area also seem to interfere with the path of mobs, for they attack them instead of the gate.

    I'll leave this here for discussion.

    At this moment, only the main Central gate, and the Eastern gate have breached/destroyed gate models, allowing enemies to progress into the 1st District. The Central gate is where the main attack force will be directed, while at anytime during the night, if it does occur in the same night, a secondary large zombie attack from Kagome Graveyard will be laying siege to the Eastern gate. Since it is a graveyard, the zombie horde will be extremely high in numbers, forcing defenders to rout numbers, from the Central gate, to defend the Eastern front. Every other gate will be barricaded, shut down closed, and completely impassible, to both mobs and players, during the entire duration of the siege.

        I am the good at custom mob things
        and IIRC, you can set track range to be super far provided I had baby zombies find me from two biomes away
        w-what is this autism aura??

          Good because I was doing some testing with Red, and they were only going up to the gate if spawned by the tree.

          Villager shops will be a problem still though.
