Tried playing with rain and POM. Sadly the POM kind of broke. Additionally I didn't really find a good placement. Oh and let's not talk about the fact of enduring 8 fps.

For that one I followed this tutorial to enable POM and downloaded the texture pack he used. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CTRth11XY8

I then went into composite1.fsh, line 621 and changed it to surface.baseSpecularity = 0.022f;
I also changed line 618 to surface.fresnelPower = 1.5f + surface.roughness * 1.0f;

That should really be all there is to it.

Sooo, I messed with my shader so much that I just had to delete it all and begin anew. While doing so I took the chance to mess with as many settings as possible.



Messed with the bloom. Taken before the deletion.

Slightly bigger sun.



Yellow sky.



Much darker terrain.



Night sky about 7 times stronger.



Take away all skylight I think. I was to lazy to remove the clouds.

I think it's been long enough since I posted in this thread in and I just got a new shader too. I bring you, Acid Shaders combined with SEUS. Combining them is easy, Combining them in a way that it doesn't just streatch, but actually warps the geometry is a bit harder.

First is how Wonderland should really have looked.









Then a visit to SNC with really high distortion. Seija had fun.







Last is the endless hallway in Eientei.



Still can't wait for the release of SEUS v.10.1. Sadly, volumetric clouds got scraped as they weren't to functional and they took so much framerate. Instead we got procedural 2D textures that can look really pretty.

SEUSv.10.2 is going to be a blast tough. We're getting Global Illumination and HBAO and it's not a too big of a hit on the framerate. I can't wait.

So, apparently I still haven't posted pictures from the latest version here.

First of a test of day and night







And then SDM. At this point I didn't really like the shader too much. It didn't have enough sunlight in it. I still agree with this a little.





Then I turned around and saw the beauty that is water.



And it's still transparent at the same time too.



I love Youkai Mountain with this shader tough.



Sunset can also be nice.



I also tried to recreate thay picture of SNC with this version. The last one was better.



I did get something else tough. It's not gensokyo, but I love it.
