I found out in minecraft 1.7 there are secret settings you can use that make your game look a lot differant. it's compleatly random from what i can tell but a lot of what i saw looked really cool

The last one kinda reminds me of the Aether mod. I think that one used similar colors.
And that 3rd screenshot looks awesome.

Since it's probable that someone on the 'net already listed out where it is, it's possible to recreate Sonic Ether's shading using this :o

that one was actually changing the color constantly in a rainbow pattern and looking all waveish like you had just taken acid kinda hard to show that in one screanshot though

As far as I can tell this is mostly just filters and not actual shaders. I'd wait a while before saying this could lead to something like SEUS.

actually this dose have potential. i got a few that did some pretty odd lighting. But i don't think Jeb is going to put anything on there as demanding as SEUS himself. I am curious though about how this will effect shaders in the future though.

Actually as Evan pointed out this is the basis for implementing actual shaders into minecraft. That's what I'm hyped for, not these presets.
