I have a 7950 crossfire setup. I can't really say much about gaming performance since I've been cryptocurrency mining with it instead... even though my original plan was to have a gaming desktop...

You should also look into an SSD, 60GB minimum, 120GB max. In your case, as you have the money, you might as well get a 120GB SSD. Put your OS and any other programs you would like on it. Get a separate 1 TB HDD for all your games, music, videos, etc.

With all those high-end parts, you should also make sure you get a decently sized case with good cooling. Your desktop will act like a heater when everything is running.

An SSD, Solid-State Drive, in simplest terms is just another type of hard drive, except there are no moving parts like the disks in more common harddrives. Because of this, it is quieter and also much faster than normal HDDs. Using an SSD drastically decreases the bootup time of anything that you keep on there. For example, if it takes your computer 20 seconds to startup on an HDD, it will only take 5 seconds on an SSD. However, SSDs are easily multiple times more expensive than a HDD. This is why it is usually best to keep a small SSD for the more essential things and keep the rest on a much larger HDD.

Get a i5-3XXX
8 GBs of RAM clocked at 1333 or better
550W PSU (might need more if it's a Radeon GPU)
1 TB Black HDD
Z77 socket Mobo (ideally with SATA 6 for HDD, but it should be standard anywho)
Either a GTX 6XX or a Radeon 7XXX

Guys, remember she's looking for a prebuilt one as she doesn't want to risk messing up while building it. Actually, on that thought anyone know of companies that build a pc for you and ship it? That might be another viable option to get the right combination of hardware she needs and not pay a ridiculous price or pay extra for stuff she doesn't need.

Oh 8 gigs of ram is almost access ram! hehe i still don't know anything about graphics cards processors. that's why i come here for nerd help! the SSD drives and stuff i saw on that page look good but like... is it the whole computer or just part of it? If it's really THAT much cheaper without sacrificing the quality i have an uncle who repairs computers for a living. I mite swollow my pride and ask him for help.
