Well, if you need a ton of nether brick, and there are not enough fortress', We can simply smelt netherrack and turn does individual bricks into blocks (like the brick blocks), but we can use a simple formula for calculating the netherrack we need by simply doing this:
Y =X*4
Where X = Nether brick we need
Y= Amount of netherrack we need to mineComment
