Apparently (at least tonight) the server has been crashing when certain players join the server.
I've noticed that this occurs when players xcwFran, WOLFMINER729, and most recently, wywy0001 join."There is a point where all of this needs to stop, and we've clearly passed it."

I can't join the server, it says "Failed to login: The authentication are currently down for maintenance."

Yep, it's a confirmed problem with Mojang. Even youtubers are upset that they have to cancel streams because of all servers being inaccessible.
