How did you come across YukkuriCraft

'Twas a combo attack from the video and searching for a Gensokyo map that led me here.

And then I got a minecraft account.

EDIT: Waitaminute! I just remembered the real reason! I came here when I was searching for information on ZUN's coming to America, and I thought this place was pretty cool.

I think I was listening to some C83 on youtube and happen to see that vid of the map in the related tab.

Was trying to make a Hakurei Shrine of my own, then saw the video on Youtube. Then...Something happened and I turned into a Yukkuri

Well, I was originally on Touhoucraft, and it had fallen to shambles during the long "Temp Map" period, and well, things got quite....hostile. I wanted to find another Touhou Minecraft server to build on and chat, and then I found that very long video. It looked much better, and like a safe haven from the madness and civil war of the other server. So here I am.

Touhoucraft's got a lot of great things about it but probably my biggest gripe is the anarchy map that comes up every time mc updates. Though I like anarchyaps for what they are, I just don't feel it fits well with the kinds of communities our servers generate.

The anarchy map was what I was talking about. A huge war happened. (This was back during the bat and witch update). It took them a hell of a long time to get the regular map back on, so, I left.

I looked up the Scarlet Devil Mansion on youtube out of curiosity. After watching one of the search results I found the thumbnail for the old Gensokyo tour.

Eh one of my friends on Chatango actually told me about the server when THC went down. If i'm not mistaken i was on the first or second day it went public.

Well, heres th story. I love listening to touhou soundtrack. I never actually played any of the games, cause i never actually leard how to english patch em (so i can install and create god knows how many mods but i cant put in a simple english patch.) so i actually looked into it, read the life of a maid series (http://donmai.us/pools/678) watched the mmds on youtube, an wuddya know, i became a half fan, half soundtrack freak. So i wuz goin on with mah biz, an youtube recommended a vid called minecraft gensokyo by remi. I watched, an i thought it was interesting. I downloaded th map an thought kewl. I kept playin. I got board, so i looked into th server, made a profile, and viola! Here i am, a junior member of the yukkuricraft team!

I listen to a lot of touhou music on youtube as well as viewing minecraft (related)videos.

The combination brought me a video tour of the server as a reccomendation, simply pauzed the video and logged on using the provided info right away :P

I looked for touhou anything on minecraft (Skins, texture packs) When I came across touhoucraft. when it didn't work, I panic-mode'd it, and tried to find a touhou server. Then I found Yukkuricraft.....XD

I looked on YouTube for Touhou Minecraft.
I found that vid and joined YC.
Then I couldn't connect to YC for some reason and found the IP for THC (which was Tempsokyo then).
Fun fact: I thought they were the same server! XD
Then after being bored of THC, I went to YC again for fun.
And then we're at now.

Well, it's a long story. When me and my brother were on good terms, he let me hop on his computer since I didn't have my own. He left to go hang out at a gaming store on the weekends, so I would play Minecraft and such to block out my parents's arguing. One of his friends actually played Touhou, and I was very interested in it, so I wondered "Why not combine the two?" I forgot about this, though, so I was looking through Touhou music videos and saw the amazing image of the video. I immediately click on it, but I was far too shy to hop on the server, so I downloaded the map. (I never made my way to Eientei. :l) But then I finally sucked up my gut and was welcomed on the server St. Patrick's Day, 2013!
