Wait on the GIF part for now though. If we're making a change I would prefer it being a unified one so no one gets something fancier than the other for fairness.
What's your thoughts though? Do you think an animated GIF type would be better? (Trade-off: Compact, space efficient VS Loss of image quality)
On that note, anyone with the Gen 1 banners can request an upgrade at any time :)

tbh the quality loss with making the banners into a gif is negligible so just go with everyone having a gif if they have multiple banners.

I'm pretty sure the quality wouldn't be affected much. I will look into it. It's almost too easy to animate with cs6, so I will be doing it on my own as a test

If possible I would say have the delay to about 7-8 seconds so that it's more subtle.
