Auditor's Fortress

Takoizu would have preferred to gap herself, but at least she was at the right location. Takoizu looked at the large steel door in front of her and saw a large "D" with a shadow arrow next to the door, pointing at it. The arrow must have been The Auditor's doing, considering the shadowy makeup of both the arrow and his physical form. Takoizu didn't really know what to expect, but she didn't think it would be dangerous. After all, it was just a snack run.

After a moment, Takoizu walked up to the large steel door and knocked on it. The sounds of her knuckle hitting the door made a large metallic echo, and all Takoizu had to do now was wait for someone to answer the door.

"Alright then, everyone's rested and ready." Kenway walked over to the group. "Right then, the door is open and our goal, simply lies beyond it. Right then! Let's not waste any more time, shall we?"
"Yeah, there's still something about my vision that seems off, we're close now..." Shulk added.

Yakumo Estate

The Mysterious man, Alvis, entered the bedroom where Yukari was resting and quietly walked over to her. He then knelt down by her bedside and slowly reached for her hand that was not under the covers...

He made nary a sound...

Auditor's Fortress

The door creaked open on it's own, and beyond the door was a quite dreadful sight. The room was hellish in nature, an obsidian-like substance making up the floor, small cracks revealing blazing hot lava. A hefty black ebony throne sat in the center of the room, holding aloft Diablo, the Lord of Terror, and beside him, a simple wooden crate.

"WHAT IS IT?" Diablo said in a very annoyed tone.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

"Right, if everybody is ready, let's go-" Patchouli, rejuvenated to full energy, said as she opened through the now-disenchanted wooden door to find herself staring at a large gaping hole that led into a single speck of light. "WHOA!"

"Careful, you almost fell." Annie said as she stopped her tracks as well. "You think the Soul Vault or the information leading to it is down there?"

"Pretty positive." Patchouli said. "But whatever that will be guarding it will be stronger than anything we've ever fought... maybe not as strong as the Devourer per se, but still pretty high up there."

Jason looked down the hole.

"Bring it on," he said, taking out a shotgun and cocking it.

Renamon drew her sword and took a deep breath "Everyone, remember why we are doing this, don´t give up" she said taking a leap of faith

Nera´s elemental claws glowed with eagerness "In the end, this is just another story that shall finish. See you in the credits" the lucario said smiling to everyone and jumped down the hole

Have you ever crossed the line between sanity and madness? You would be amazed by what lies beyond the fog..

Jason watched.

"Oh, we're supposed to jump down to a possible death?"

He took a good long look.

"... Well, you only live once, huh? Wish me luck, I guess."

He dove into the hole.

Auditor's Fortress

Takoizu was a little shocked to see how.. heavily altered the room was. There seemed to be obsidian growing on the ground, cracks with lava being exposed, and a large, black throne where a large demon sat.

"WHAT IS IT?", the demon spoke.

"I'm here for The Auditor's snacks.", Takoizu calmly said to Diablo, contrasting the demon's harsh tone.

Banished Library - Gensokyo | Day

John simply jumped down the hole, not caring how deep it was, or what danger lied ahead. In the end, he was doing this for one of his closest friends, so he showed no fear or hesitation. Unlike the others that spoke, John remained silent. Nothing needed to be said. His actions spoke louder than his words ever could.

John landed on his feet, causing a loud echo to circulate throughout the room, but John wasn't worried about that. He was more focused on getting the book.

"NO." Diablo simply replied. "IF YOU WANT THEM, COME AND GET THEM, YOUKAI." Diablo threatened.

Yakumo Estate - Gensokyo

Yukari was sleeping oh so soundly, occasionally moaning and smacking her lips... is she having a dream about eating?

"...John, can you make me some short ribs..." Yukari sleep talked, tossing and turning.

Pentagram Plane - Banished Library - Gensokyo

The bottom-most floor of the Banished Library was a small chamber with a small door at the far end. The surrounding area was an unpiercable darkness. Whoever fell from the top landed at the middle of the chamber, and about a few yards away stood a seemingly ageless man with extremely long silver hair holding a grimoire similar to Patchouli's.

"I've been expecting you." The mysterious man said to the party. "Especially you, Patchouli."

"...Elios." Patchouli uttered with such malice and wrath even John could feel a chill.
