Washington D.C | City Park"Hmm... I agree with Papyrus. I do not think that those strange demons can understand what we say. Though it may be worth a shot." Julius replied to the two as the trudged through the forest, eventually they came to a large river that was flowing... maybe a bit
too quickly. The current was far too fierce for any of them to just walk through, for if they were to step into the river they'd probably get caught and carried downstream if not worse.
Julius stopped as he began looking around the area for a way across when he heard something.
The sound of a branch snapping behind them... and no other sound. It was as if the forest went silent all except for that single sound of a fallen branch snapping.
Immediately Julius had turned to face the forest, ready in case anything hostile was coming...
"Shush... Anyone hear that...?" He spoke. Not just referring to the sound of a twig or stick snapping, but also to the lack of natural sounds from a forest... except for the crashing waters of the nearby river.
"We are not alone. Midna you work on a way across this river. Papyrus and I will keep guard."Washington D.C | Palutena's Palace in the SkyAs the two began focusing their magic the pond began to shift colors from a light glowing blue, to a light glowing green as it their thoughts on trying to figure out what the energy is being used for. Mainly Palutena was trying to take a peek inside the small rift that Death was beginning to open...
What she saw actually made her open her eyes and look at the water which no longer looked like a liquid. It looked like a flowing stream of fire... the faint silhouette of some demonic looking being with blood red eyes inside the pool of what is now hellish flames began to slowly take shape...
Spoiler

"Toriel... Look. Palutena spoke quietly as the silhouette began to shift to something else... the silhouette of a tower, or spire. Something large... this image then shifted once again to something... different. One that caused the pool to erupt in a tower of raging hellfire. It shifted to 3 dark-purple orbs. The second these 3 'orbs' appeared was when the pool of what was then hellfire, had erupted into a raging pillar.
When the pool erupted, Palutena had stepped back. She could feel a strong demonic power coming from it. One that nearly began to overshadow the holy energies of this chamber. However this did not last long as the flames began to vanish after a short while, and the clear glowing water began to flow from the statues and back into the pond.
All the Goddess of Light could do was turn to look at Toriel with a slightly worried look.
"You felt that... right...? The energy from that... was... suffocating. The heat was... hellish... whatever it is that Death is summoning..." Palutena was speaking as she held her staff with both hands. It was obvious what she was going to say next... Toriel really didn't need to hear anymore. All they both needed to know. Was that this needed to be stopped.
SkyworldPit just let out a stressed sigh as they flew. By the time they reached the large white, fluffy cloud with a equally large building resting on top of it, Palutena's blessing of flight had worn out. This allowed Pit and Frisk to land quite easily as he knelt down for Frisk to hop off his back.
