Alvis simply put one hand on his hip as he turned his head in the opposite direction. What no one would know was that he was looking in the direction that the mysterious man that was quite some distance away still from the labs. "I'm affiliated with no one in particular. I'm merely here to provide information to those that need it." He then looked back to the group. "Do you know what 'Anti' means?"

Jack continued to stare at the man, calmly watching his every move. This man was obviously lying that he was not affiliated with anyone. Everyone was affiliated with someone, and if he had intelligence Prometheus Labs didn't have, then he was a part of some kind of secret intelligence network. If that was the case, then he was either here for his own interests, or to relay a message from someone higher in command. Either way, his secrecy was dangerous. If this man wanted to cause harm, then there would be little way of tracing it all back to him. If he truly had an official message to The Labs, then he would have relayed the message from either the security office, or would have emailed the message to the Head of Security. As for his somewhat cryptic question, Jack decided to humor the man, but one wrong move or answer and the man's neck would spurt like a garden hose.
"Anti: opposed to or against an idea, policy, or activity.", Jack said in the same emotionless tone he had used before.
After answering Alvis, he took on a somewhat darker ton e, one that showed that he was not going to be fooled by Alivis giving him indirect answers.
"You're lying to me about your affiliations. I don't like it when I'm lied to.", Jack said in an emotionless, dark tone, one that would have unnerved a normal person.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.
You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

Alvis echoed what Jack had said last about Anti. "To be opposed to or against an idea, policy, or activity. To be opposed to certain aspects that are true. For Example, one could be opposed to or against having characters using their abilities to meddle with the natural bounds of reality and the laws of society....but that's what SCAE is for, is it not?" Alvis paused slightly after that last phrase. His tone emphasized the example and 'that's what SCAE is for.'
"As for my affiliation, you could say that I'm affiliated with characters," Alvis glanced over to Cole and Flandre, "...much like yourselves."

Was Alvis letting on something or was he referring to Cole's temporary role of taking care of Flandre? Cole could not tell. And he didn't like it. Alvis' tone and phrasing rubbed Cole the wrong way. A very bad way. It reminded Cole too much of Kessler. Both Kessler and Alvis used the same method of speech and phrasing. Both of them seeming to know a lot about Cole and used more cryptic and mysterious methods to get their word across. Kessler... That one person... The one man that Cole despised more than anyone else.

Jack only heard a few sentences out of Alvis, but it was enough to annoy him. Jack did not like how the man did not directly answer his questions, and if the strange man kept it up, he was going to act.
"I don't have time for this. You are a guest, and we are the masters of The Labs. I highly recommend you do as I say and speak in a straightforward manner on your own accord, or I will make you do so.", Jack coldly said to Alvis as he shifted Eve to his larger hand, took a step forward and placed his free hand on his katana.

"Oh.", Takoizu simply said as she looked up at the toiling creatures.
After taking a moment to finish looking over her surroundings, Takoizu looked back to The Higher Power and spoke.
"Let's continue.", Takoizu said as she began to walk forward.

Alvis merely chuckled, disregarding Jack's threat. "Tell me: do you know what ACO stands for? And do you know what SCAE stands for? And finally, do you know the function of both as organizations?" He looked as though waiting for them to make all the necessary connections on the way he was bringing up his points.

Jack was beginning to get irritated with Alvis. Instead of doing as he said, the strange man was continuing with his indirect answers. Based on how the man asked the questions, he knew that Jack knew about the ACO, the Anti Character Organization, as well as the SCAE's large role in trying to make peace between the Characters and humans. Everyone knew about the SCAE, and if this man had watched the news, he would know that the ACO was a group of people that wanted the Characters gone. It even said so in their very name. Other than that, nothing else was know about the ACO, but Prometheus Labs was gathering intel, and once Six would be debriefed and gave the intel to The Labs, they would know more about the ACO's motives, why they were causing so much harm.
"Why are you asking me if you already know? You know the answer, and you know that I do as well. You're simply dragging this out longer than it needs to be. As I told you before, speak to me without being cryptic, or I will force you to do so. This is your final warning.", Jack coldly said to Alvis as he pulled his katana off his magnetic holster and firmly held it in his grip.
If Alvis said one more thing that Jack didn't like, Jack would cut him with his katana.

"Are you even listening to me?!" Cole slowly and deeply asked Alvis. His voice filled with such anger and fury. Such a level of anger that Flandre didn't even expect from Cole. Just what was wrong with him? As Flandre looked once more, she could see that Cole's electricity was building up. But this time, it was not in its usual blue state. It was a scarlet red. This was not right. Not right at all. Cole should not be like this.
"Cole! Please stop! This isn't right! Don't attack the man!" Flandre cried out in desperation, pleading for Cole to stop.
