@ Kristia

There we are.

And quite honestly, if you're willing to point a gun at a DCERT member for corrupt actions... I honestly don't see why that warrants another faction. I'm going to label you under DCERT unless you have a stronger justification for going neutral. Otherwise,

ACCEPTED

@Wriggle

Hmm,.. I see no problem with it.

ACCEPTED

And guys, I know that being neutral has its perks, but let's please try and have at least one character with a side. I personally feel that there are too many neutrals. THIS DOES NOT MEAN ANYONE HAS TO CHANGE ANYTHING. Just please keep that in mind.

@Wonder

Done with my app.

Is it all good? Anything wrong with the corruptivity level? I tried to make him seem like his crime-spree is imminent without making him a Corrupt.

Also, what is Corruptivity? Is it based on the crimes you commit or might/will commit, the person's mental state and/or morals, or both the crimes and mental state?

I fixed my app. Also don't forget Wonder. I have 2 other characters. One for DCERT and one for Corrupt. I just need to refine them a bit.

To answer your question, the reader is based on your mental state, your history, and your general possibility of inflicting harm. All of that calculates into the corruptivity level, using a weight system similar to a grading system. But that's just for reference. Just shoot it and it'll show up. I'm really leaning towards the owner giving the corruptivity level after being scanned, but I worry for shenanigans...

I'll figure it out later.

@Wonder

Ok, so if someone hypothetically kills someone, steals something, or does so etching generally bad and is never caught, does it still get calculated into the score?

Since it can tell mental state, I wouldn't be surprised if it could just read your mind and find out that kind of thing.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

@Mima

That could be a possibility. I wouldn't doubt it.

@everyone

Also, new second theme for Ethan. Perfect for him. The lyrics exactly state his intentions, how hellbent he is on having his vengeance, how before he dies, he will have it. It has a feeling of finality to it.

Also, The Equilizer was a really cool movie! XD

Here's a rough draft for my second character. Tell me what'cha think.

Name of Character: Mokou Fujiwara

Gender: Female

Age: 28

Appearance:

Faction: DCERT

Base Corruptivity Level: 28

Biography: Mokou was born and raised out in the western US, in a little town where everybody knew everybody. She was raised with a fair education, and a pair of loving parents. However, there weren't too many kids who liked her. Always thought of her as a little strange, weird, or even dangerous, and that was mainly due to her fascination with fire and it's workings.

It was a dangerous thing, something that could both purify and damn, depending on it's use, and that's what made her interested. So, she experimented, tampering with the one thing that shouldn't be touched. She learned more and more, branching out into explosives, too. Her parents were worried, of course, but Mokou assured them he would use these talents for good.

She moved out, around the time Vector made his speech, which in Mokou's eyes, was pointless and the last gasp of a madman. After a while, she joined DCERT, coming in as an amateur, and now, she's one of DCERT's foremost incendiary and explosive specialist, called in for both clean-ups, and as backup against particularly bad, nigh unredeemable Corrupted. She's deadly with a flamethrower and the end of many a Corrupted, and that, she likes.

Personality: Despite the serious and otherwise highly dangerous work she does, Mokou is quite laid back most of the time, and her boyish attitude towards most things can throw people off at times. She doesn't stress easily, and when she is, all she needs is a smoke and she's fine. She's fairly loyal to DCERT, and has a love and understanding of all things involving the use of fire.

Weapons: A flamethrower, capable of spewing wide borths of area with flame. Has quite a long range, surprisingly.

2 Incendiary grenades, and an extra flashbang.

And finally, a lighter. Not really a weapon, but it could be used to light something that is.

Reason you're in that faction: Mokou joined DCERT for a few reasons.

A: Mokou was looking for somewhere where she could use her talents and expertise with fire to good use.

B: Mokou was worried about the Corrupted, and she knew she could at least try and do something.

C: She was jobless and needed one.
