Misaka had had fun for the most part. It was a lovely day to get out and the free ice cream was always nice. She seemed to get really jealous however when Karuna groped Mirabelle but she kept quite about it. It did make her wonder though if she could have gotten away with doing the same. Misaka didn't want the day to end. She was having a lot of fun hanging out with the others and she had a feeling that the longer she stood near them the greater her chances were of seeing or experiencing something interesting. She was about to ask Mira a question but she stopped when hshe heard her speak to a stranger.

The day had been long for his first day of school, but Drake was satisfied by now thanks to everything that has happened. After the classes had finished they did all arrive at the park roughly on time, except for Karuna who had ended up being late. When Karuna was the one who arrived late Drake had chuckled slightly. Though he was also thankful for her buying snacks and drinks for all of them.
Though that was earlier. Time had eventually passed, and 7:00 PM had arrived. When Drake saw the setting sun he smiled as he turned to the others.
"Well looks like it's about time I begin heading home. Quite a long walk unfortunately..." Drake spoke as he turned to Yuki who was approaching to seemingly speak with Misaka and Mirabelle. He gave a quick tip of the hat to the girls before he started to walk. Though he quickly stopped as he remembered something.
"Oh I'm sorry! I forgot my manners. Would any of you ladies like me to walk home with you? I've heard some rather nasty reports of some murders and stuff happening in this city on the news. So I think it might be a wise idea to walk home in groups..."

Drake's mention of the rumors reminded Yuki of earlier when Mirabelle and Misaka mentioned them. "He is right. It would be best for all of you to get home now before it gets more dark." Yuki said to them. "It would be hard to guard them if one attacks." She thought as she didn't want them to die.

Valhalla High School Campus | Student Housing - Maya's Dorm
When Rez's eyes were met with the image of Maya dressed in nothing but a towel. He blushed slightly and turned his head away, but maintained looking at her out of the corner of his eye. It was a sight to behold, for him. The girl he had been watching since middle school was now standing right before him, almost completely naked. He tried to look away out of respect for her, but found it rather difficult.
"Oh.. sorry.. um... I-I just wanted to ask you why you.. y'know... offered this open room for me?" Rez said, blushing slightly.

Mirabelle was listening to Yuki speak and noticed that Misaka was looking at the girl curiously "Oh right! Misaka, this girl is Yuki" she gestured to the polite student "You were probably asleep when she asked us about the city and the school in the morning since she just enrolled to our school" the pinkette explained and made the greetings for both of them
Then hearing about possible dangers on the night from both Drake and Yuki made Mirabelle shrug as a reaction "Surely there are bad things on the night, but other wise than the usual pervert or stalker, there isn´t much to worry about" she spoke normally showing she was used to seeing the bad stuff of Valhalla.

Maya's Dorm | Student Housing | Valhalla High School
"Oh, it's rather s- simple!" Maya giggled, realizing that there was no emergency she needed to tend to. She began feeling conscious about her state of being clad in nothing but bath towel; she'll have to go put on some real clothes if she wants to explain the reason in further detail. "Let me go and find something more appropriate to wear."
Maya took a step back to head to her bedroom. Unfortunately for her, in her haste she forgot to dry her foot and, coupled with the smoothness of the wooden floor, she slipped and was falling to the ground, the towel that was flimsily covering her body flying off.

He knew that Maya had a rather frail body, and was easily injured, but what didn't register in his brain when his body moved was that Maya was no longer being covered by the towel and was basically bare. As his body maneuvered itself to catch Maya, he could feel a plump softness filling his palms. After processing what had just happened, Rez had come to a stunning discovery: He had caught Maya, but she was now completely exposed, and to make matters worse (or maybe better, depending on how you look at it), he had caught her... around her chest. Rez's hands were firmly cupped around Maya's breasts, but it wasn't like he could just drop her.
"Uh.... Maya? You okay?" He asked, meekly, "S...sorry about..."

Drake listened to what Yuki had to say, and it made him smile and nod in agreement. Though what Mirabelle said just made him let out a sigh that sounded like he was disappointed in Mirabelle. Honestly he wasn't disappointed with Mirabelle. Just... sort of saddened by her assurance that things will be alright.
"You sound quite sure that things will be alright. I may have been in this city for not long, but the stuff I have heard makes it sound like there is just more than a stalker or pervert. From what I've read and seen in the news, it almost seems like a serial killer out and about." Drake replied as he took a few steps closer to the girls. "Then again I have been wrong on many occasions. I can't count how many times my gut has led me down the wrong path. Either way I don't think my conscience would like it if I just let you girls walk home separately. So please, allow me to walk any of you home."

Trust me that the people on this city aren´t afraid to face the dark side of Valhalla" the pinkette spoke with a hint of irritation with the latest offer, mostly to her proud and free attitude.
