@Tewi

Remember that Zeros left arm is Jin and he has wind magic so a day or two without it won't hurt.

I never went into detail about the sword.

-clears throat- Zero's father created the sword 15 years ago for Zero when he got older and used magical ores and used his own magic when making it. So the father stored it until Zero found it before he left his town. Without being taken care of for 15 years and then suddenly being used is why it's in bad shape.

Name: Takeshi Wayra Kimura

Age: 5827

Race and sub race: Crow Yaju Noroi

Gender: Male

Class: Whirlwind Swordsman

Bio: Takeshi was born into a life that was always in contact with both the military and the Tribal Guardians, due to his father being the bodyguard of the Tenma, which heavily influenced his interests in combat, as well as his choice to join the Yaju Guard. During his time, he was a trainee for 200 years, and after that, he became a soldier for another 200. In those 200 years of service, Takeshi had proven time and time again to be a very reliable and trustworthy soldier. That, and he had a special gift that set him apart from many of his other fellow soldiers. This gift was the power to use Aeromancy, the magical ability to control wind. Magic among the Yaju was not rare, but it was rather uncommon when compared to the other races of the world, and it was even more uncommon for a Yaju to have the discipline to hone their magical abilities. Takeshi was one such individual that was able to wield his power over wind just as effectively as he could with a sword, making him a cut above the rest. Hearing about his son's success as a soldier, Takeshi's father had approached him and convinced him to join the Tribal Guardians, telling him that his talents could prove to be useful and that he would be a valuable addition. After some thought, Takeshi eventually decided to apply and eventually became Kazeane's personal guard for the next 100 years. The only consequence of his choice to become a member of the Tribal Guardians though, brought some to think that Takeshi was only accepted because his father was a guard himself and tipped the scales in his favor...

Powers:

Aeromancy - Takeshi can call upon the power of the wind itself. With the power of aeromancy, Takeshi can increase his speed, knock enemies off balance, create strong gusts of wind, form miniature tornadoes, can allow himself to hover on a burst of air, and can redirect projectiles with a dense "wind shield". At maximum capability, Takeshi can envelope an entire battlefield with winds strong enough to exceed 170 mph (273.58 kph), or an F3 tornado. He commonly darts around the battlefield via his magic, allowing him to combat multiple enemies at once and allowing him to maintain a high degree of mobility.

Tracker and Survivalist - Thanks to both his physiology, training, and where he lives, Takeshi has become a proficient tracker and can survive in the wilderness indefinitely.

Arashi Bladeweaving Technique (Personalized Variant) - Passed down by the Tenma family of Arashi, Arashi Bladeweaving Technique is a swordsmanship style that are taught to the Tenma Tribal Guardians and the sword-using members of the Arashi family. The blade technique can be best described as "flowing with the wind", where every attack or defense can be led into another, forming a chain of offense and defense that keep their pace very synced in battle. He commonly incorporates his aeromancy into his fighting style, literally allowing him to flow like the wind and allowing him to become an even more potent and lethal swordsman. He will commonly increase the speed of his slashes, build up momentum for followup attacks, and will spawn miniature tornadoes with rapid spins and slashes from both himself and from his blades.

Martial Excellence - Due to his 500 years of being a soldier and Guardian, as well as the experience stemming from such a long term of service, Takeshi is very competent with a rather large array of weapons, including his body. Like many Yaju soldiers, his expertise in battle exceeds that of what even the most seasoned human soldiers could learn within their lifetimes. This means that he has a large understanding of battlefield tactics, can effectively wield many types of weapons, and is disciplined enough to carry out any task for the sake of the Yaju.

Yaju Transformation - As like with every Yaju, Takeshi can transform into a bestial form. For him it would be a crow, but when he does, it would leave behind is equipment.

Animal Communication - As like with every Yaju, Takeshi can communicate with animals.

Enhanced Senses - Being a Crow Yaju, Takeshi has a slew of various advantages stemming from his biology. Such advantages are increased intelligence and ingenuity, greater observational learning capabilities, enhanced ability to sense and understand language, inflections in speech, and body language, can see a wider range of colors and hues with more detail, can see parts of the UV scale, can spot things from long distances with pinpoint accuracy, slightly improved hearing, and feathers are incredibly sensitive to changes in air temperature, pressure and wind speed, and those changes are transferred down the feathers to extensive nerves in the skin,
and fewer nerves in his legs and feet, which makes him less sensitive to extreme cold and allows him to sit or stand on icy surfaces.

Gear:

Takeshi does not carry very much with him, but what he usually carries are his two scimitars and a good supply of basic essentials. He can also sometimes be seen carrying around an ornamental staff with rings on it.

Appearance:

Height: 177.8 cm (5' 10")
Weight: 86.1 kg (190 lb)
Hair Color: Dark Brown
Eye Color: Brown

Generally wears the black shirt and pants with red trim like in the picture, but in addition to that, he also tends to wear two bracers made up of black bandages wrapped around the lower half of his forearms (like with his ankles), with a beaded layer above that with black feathers traveling up the length of his forearms. He can also sometimes be seen with an intricate breastplate made of red, black and white beads over his shirt, although he generally reserves its use for either ceremonial times or times of war.

Personality: Tends to be proud, has a little bit of a trickster personality, clever, smart, curious, and rather kind, but when on the job or when things get serious, he gets serious and shows a great deal of discipline.

Ambitions: Takeshi's father was a reliable Guardian and was in Tenma's Tribal Guardians, so a lot of people tend to think that Takeshi got into Tenma's Tribal Guardians just from his Father, so he wants prove them wrong. He wants to prove that he got in solely by talent and merit, not because he had a really influential father.

Factions: The Tenma.

Character Connections: He is Kazeane's bodyguard.

Notes: Takeshi has poor night vision, meaning he can't see in the dark very well. When night approaches, he tends to try and keep the area he is at well lit. That, and his pride and curiosity could possibly be used against him.

Idea thingy I was working on last night.
------------
Race: Gnomes

Gnomes come far from the north, coming to this continent in great steam-powered ships around 300 years ago. Thye are known for their small stature (smaller than a Dwarf), and their many, many inventions, from steam-powered flying machines, robots, tesla coils, seige engines, and various other useful inventions not thought of or possible before their arrival.

Gnomes are more similar to humans than Dwarves, lacking pointed ears, fur, or other things of that variety. A fair majority are bald, though facial hair is somewhat common, even for some of the women.

They live similarly to Dwarves, digging out large mountains with their machines, as demonstrated in their main capital, named Gnomeregan, located deep in the Lesser Spine.

Gnomes physically are quite weak, though this is supplemented by their machines and kanck for metalworking. Surprisingly, they are also quite agile. They are not good magic users, and gnomish mages are rare.

Gnomes can live for up to 1500 years.

--------
Name: Gelbin Mechazod

Age: 783

Race and sub race: Gnome

Gender: Male

Class: Engineer

Bio: Back in the continent to the North, conditions led to most of the Gnomes living underground in sprawling labyrinths of cities. As their technology improved, so did the size and scope of their cities. Leaders were not chosen by how mighty they were politically, but through inventions that help the Gnomish people succeed and survive, and one had not been chosen in 400 years.

Gelbin rose up, making invention after invention. Mechano-striders helped people get around, robots that helped repaired broken or damaged equipment, and thousands of other great inventions.

He rose to power by the decision of a council, alongside an assistant, simply known as Sicco. He ruled peacefully for 350 years, before a great plight besieged the city from below. Dark dwarves, better known as Deugar rose from below, trying to seize the city, but stopped by Gnomish engineering. They would not stop, but Sicco had an idea. A biological bomb, tuned to poison only Deugar.

He assured it would only affect them, and not even reach the upper city, so in the short time they had, Gelbin accepted. The bomb went off, and it was then seen Sicco's intentions. It didn't affect Deugar at all, and it poisoned the gnomes. Sicco had wanted to be their leader, but was stopped by Gelbin's fast rise.

It got into the ventilation and the upper city, as did the deugar. Gelbin assembled the remaining gnomes and evacuated, leaving the city and the continent itelf behind in huge steam-powered ships, reaching (insert continent name here since it actually HAS no name yet) in a few months afterward. They settled in the Lesser Spine, where Gelbin still ruled due to his people's love for him.

Gelbin himself had ideas. Ideas that would require travelling. So, setting aside his rule and letting the council decide on things for a change, Gelbin went out with his wrench and mechano-strider, and set off into the world, wanting to form new ideas for not just the betterment of the gnomes, but everyone.

Powers: Gelbin is an extremely talented engineer and strategist, capable of quick thinking, moving, andussually acting. He lacks in magic, but makes up for it with his inventions.

Gear: Gelbin travels with a light cuirass of mithril armor under his clothes, but his main weapon of note is a large (compared to him) wrench-like weapon (which can be used as a wrench is needed). At a simple flick of a switch, it can surge with electricity to damage foes.

Appearance: Gelbin stands at at a measy 3'5, however counters it with a somewhat noticeablely muscular arms, due to him wearing a sleeveless purple outfit with black outlines, with a matching pair of elbow-length work-gloves. He has little hair, mainly around the back, with it being white, wild and a little spiky. A sideburn-moustache combo decorates his somewhat gruff face. His eyes are almost always covered with a set of glowing green goggles, though underneath his eyes are a shining blue.

Personality: Gelbin usually focuses on practicality over everything else. He's quick-witted, especially in a fight. He values those he calls a friend highly, willing to put his life on the line for them. He cares for his people all else, however.

Ambitions: Gelbin wishes to improve everyone's lives for the better, as he did for his own people.

Factions: None

Character Connections: None

Notes: He mainly gets around on one of his inventions, a Mechano-Strider, a large robotic steam-powered bird that looks similar to an ostrich and is of a similar size.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

Since Mima made the gnomes (Yes I'm in my Azeroth grind)

Race: Goblins

Hailing from the Southern continent of Raganthar, Goblins are cheerful but greedy race that love the art of commerce. Unlike Lore, the technology of Raganthar has seen impressive advances. However, due to the Goblins' experimental nature, a lot of Goblin inventions explode after yielding amazing results.

In terms of appearance, one can easily identify a Goblin by their long, sharp noses, large ears, and overall skin tone of greenish hue. They are short, but not as short as dwarves or gnomes. They have very long arms that almost touch the ground when standing upright, and they have skinny fingers, allowing them to fiddle with technology better.

Goblins are about as strong as humans, although their carefree nature makes their preference not geared towards fighting physically. Instead, they rely on their technological creation to do the dirty work. Goblins live for about 400 years before dying of old age, although some goblins die prematurely because of experiments gone bad. It is morbidly funny to note that none of the Goblins die a brutal death: their death are always comical.

Goblins are adaptive creatures: they can live anywhere and live well. However, they especially prefer the valleys where they have both the flat areas to create little villages and the mountains to mine for metals that are used in inventions.

Spoiler
Name: Kimley "Shacklebreaker" Wickstorm

Age: 182

Race and sub race: Goblin

Gender: Male

Class:

Captain, Savior, and Chief Engineer of the Fargleam Goblins

Bio:
Spoiler
For the last 300 years, the Goblin kingdom Fargleam was annexed by human empire. They were tasked to creating inventions and machines solely for the purpose of being used by the humans while the goblins who actually invented them were given the cold shoulder. Many goblins were abused in a massive labor project with harsh work conditions and very little food given to them. They tried revolting, of course. Many times. However, most of those movements were very haphazard and were easily thwarted by the human military.

Kimley Wickstorm was born in the city of Boomton. True to its' name, the city was the main location where the goblins created gunpowder, and was seized by the human empire as the first priority. After all, those who had control of gunpowder had immense firepower that could be used to oppress others. Kimley grew up with other goblins in the city, and learned firsthand how discriminatory humans were against goblins like him.

Kimley eventually was fed up with having to serve the humans without receiving anything in return: it just wasn't fair. Thus, he joined the Fargleam Rebellion and secretly created weapons that they can use against the humans without their supervision. Unfortunately, during the 10th year of Kimley joining the rebellion, the humans stormed into their headquarters, discovering the plan of rebellion from a traitorous goblin named Danil Greasegrubber, destroying the facility and arresting every goblin inside.

The leaders of Fargleam Rebellion were immediately executed for treason. The lesser members such as Kimley were spared from death, although they were put inside the prison for lifetime. Kimley wasn't so worried about his own self being in prison, but he was anxious about the others outside. He had a lovely wife Pinxi who was pregnant with his kid. He had friends outside who too were involved with Fargleam Rebellion. They needed Kimley to protect them from the humans in case they found out about their relationship with the rebellion.

Kimely and the other members of the Fargleam Rebellion hatched a plan. Pleading with the human guards, they received a chance to send a letter to Kimely's wife. They wrote down what looked like a seemingly innocuous set of catalog listing off groceries, which the human guards delivered to Pinxi. However, Pinxi knew what the letter really meant. The letter was, in reality, an encrypted message detailing the steps of plans required to free the goblin prisoners.

Pinxi and other members of the Fargleam Rebellion that was not captured by the humans carried out the order as listed. On the day of breakout, Kimley faked a stomachache, receiving a leave to the hospital. While there, Kimley snuck a bottle of flammable alcohol and a scalpel inside his pants to be used as a fuse. Then, Kimley poured the alcohol down a drain while the doctors were not watching, and was able to go back into the prison cell with a scalpel without humans suspecting a thing. Everything was set to action.

Pinxi saw a clear alcohol fall from the drain and knew it was time to act. She struck a match and lit the alcohol; the flame spread across the drain rapidly, eventually being carried over to the prison hospital causing a large explosion. While most of the prison guards ran over to deal with the sudden fire, the goblins inside used the scalpel to saw off the rusty iron gate and break free. Between the fire and the sudden breakout, the humans were too distracted to tackle any of the issues. All 42 goblins captured in the prison broke out.

Kimley, now free, was given the honorable nickname of "Shacklebreaker". Unfortunately, they captured Pinxi at the end of the breakout and executed her. The grief was overwhelming for Kimley, but liberation of the entire goblinhood was more important than grieving over what was already done. He wasted no time in continuing his campaign of goblin liberation. He created a nasty machine called "Freedom Grabber' that was strapped on his back, armed with extendable clamps that are powered by coal-powered generator, which was used as a way to subdue the humans without actually killing them. Kimley was focused on liberating the goblins, but he wasn't aiming for killing off humans as well.

Eventually, Kimley received unconditional surrender from the human King, thus liberating the Fargleam empire from human reign after 300 years of enslavement. Massive parties followed, which was fun, but Kimley had other visions. One that would expand the already great goblin empire of Fargleam.

Kimley immediately began a project to create large passenger ships with huge sails to take them across the vast ocean. The work took many months, but he was eventually able to build a majestic galleon named after his birthplace, "Boomton." He announced to the goblins that he will search for a new land and, with 5000 other Goblins, embarked on a journey to expedite new continents to claim for the glory of Fargleam empire, leaving his trusted right-hand man Kamax as the temporary king.

The journey took weeks, but the goblins hung in there. They often stopped by different islands that blessed them with food supplies such as exotic fruits and game animals. When they felt homesick, they would sing songs from their homeland and reassure each other. Sometimes they fought over things like money because of their greed, but in the end, they were all comrades to each other.

The voyage eventually took Kimley and the goblins to Lore. However, Lore was already inhabited with various races and had no room for their empire. When the goblins prepared to turn the ship around and head to east in search of uninhabited continents, Kimley decided suddenly that he's going to stay on this continent. Kimley originally thought about whether it was right for him to become the king of goblins, and ultimately decided that he was not fit to rule. By staying on Lore, he decided that he would give up his kingship and give complete control of the empire over to Kamax.

80 years later, Kimley roams the continent of Lore as a traveling caravan, selling unique goblin merchandise from the continent of Raganthar in exchange for other goods. Few goblins that followed Kimley to Lore also settled on various locations. He's not king anymore, but he'd rather be free than be king.

Powers:

Raganthar as a continent has never seen the presence of magic other than some supernatural events. However, their technological advancement may as well be called Raganthar's "magic".

Kimley is extremely skilled in inventing different machines. Unlike other goblins whose inventions end up going in flames after yielding awesome result, Kimley's inventions lack the tendency to explode as much. Not all inventions he make are weapons, though. In fact, majority are used for utility purposes.

Gear:

Kimley's weapon of choice for now is his Freedom Grabber, a giant robot body with two extendable clamps he wears on his back like a backpack. This weapon, while not fatal, allows him to gain control over larger and more imposing enemies than him.

However, Kimley IS designing a new weapon for himself. Something that's not as clunky as Freedom Grabber, and something that can keep himself safe against enemies who actually want him dead.

Appearance:

Spoiler

Height: 124 cm (4' 0.82")
Weight: 61 kg (134.48 lb)
Hair Color: Dark Brown, tied into a ponytail.
Eye Color: Yellow

Personality:

Kimley is rather blunt and straightforward. He tells the harsh truth rather than sweet lies. He hates liars. Liars make him MAD!

Kimley may seem and sound happy when he's doing business in his caravan, but Kimley in reality misses home. He especially misses Pinxi, who died in the middle of the Fargleam Revolution, and feels that he will never meet true love anymore.

Ambitions:

Kimley has no life-changing ambition as of yet. He has already accomplished enough in his lifetime by liberating the goblins on Raganthar; he only wishes to amass enough money and proliferate goblin businesses on the continent of Lore.

Factions:

Kimley does not associate himself with any factions. To him, siding with one faction would result in earning less money as a traveling merchant. Instead, he is nice to everyone... provided they have goods to trade with him.

Character Connections:

Kimley has met the gnomes, who have similar story as the Goblins. He does not consider them as enemies; just friendly competitors in the battle of scientific progress. He drops by the Gnome kingdom in Lesser Spine frequently for a drink and just to have a rowdy good time.

Notes:

Did I also mention that Mima got my approval?

FOR GNOMEREGEAN!
