Eh I've seen the elements of Ordo and Entropy used before (they are actual labeled elements used in some rather old stuff pertaining to magic or alchemy or stuff. Used in some games like... Minecraft the thaumcraft mod which is a really indepth magic/alchemy mod.)

But that's just me, S1, Tewi, and Cucoo. I think Wriggle and a few others not RPer.

here is an idea that I got regarding a character that (if accepted) would be like a guardian for the school grounds and the students, both from the outside world and themselves. Like in most schools, there will always be problems, it is just something that is going to happen no matter how much the staff tries to help the students.

So an idea that I had in the case that the students were to go on fights, there is the possibility of them using magic, with a high chance of using them recklessly. The idea itself is this guardian who can deal with them, be it by speaking to calm the situation, intimidating the thick headed idiots, or even knocking the rampaging ones. On the other hand, she would be the first to act against a threat outside the school.

The fear of death is something that she doesnīt have because she canīt die per se, only lose her physical body and be back in a matter of minutes, as you can guess, a Dark souls-esque character with Soul magic (which is explained in the spoiler part)

      Spoiler:

Magic - Soul based and alchemy

The wanderer uses her staff to make sorceries
Soul arrows (normal, great, heavy) Shoots a magical arrow that can follow itīs target
soul spear (normal and crystal) sends a spear formed soul attack that can pierce through enemies
magic weapon (normal, great, crystal) Imbues the userīs weapon with magic to add strength on it

Saraīs soul magic is that, it come from her soul, the more will to fight she has, the more powerful the spell becomes, it appears with different tones of color hues on the spell from light colors when they are normal (cyan), medium color when in heat of battle (blue), and strong deep color when fired up and serious (dark blue or purple)

letīs take for example the soul arrow, if she just does the spell, it will shoot a normal powered arrow of magic with cyan color, if she is in the heat of a battle, the arrow becomes a great soul arrow being a stronger version and having a blue color. When the wanderer is fired up and and serious, the heavy soul arrow appears with a strong dark blue or purple color being the purest of the three.

The crystal versions of the spells are the strongest because the spell actually solidifies becoming both a powerful magical attack while also having brutal physical attack

There is a drawback with the over use of these spells though, since they come from Saraīs soul, with each spell she uses, her soul gets weaker until it exhausts putting her on a "hollow" time, she canīt use any spell while being on this time until she recharges over time or gets fueled by her will to fight. There is no risk of losing her soul completely so it is ok to spend this magic with all itīs juice. It will always recharge

It is much like any mana/magic/etcetera bar that loses part of itself for each spell, the greater the spell, the more energy is absorbed from her soul.

The alchemy part is the use of pine resin to imbue the weapon with other elements:

Dark pine resin: imbues the weapon with dark flames, good against holy nature beings

Gold pine resin: imbues the weapon with lightning, good against water nature beings

Charcoal pine resin: imbues the weapon with flames, good against flesh beings

Rotten pine resin: imbues the weapon with poison, good against organic beings

It is an idea that can be scrapped or adapted

        Spoiler:

From a weathered and ancient looking tome..

The Oni are a kind of youkai from Japanese folklore, variously translated as demons, devils, ogres, or trolls. They are popular characters in Japanese art, literature and theater. Depictions of oni vary widely but usually portray them as hideous, gigantic ogre-like creatures with sharp claws, wild hair, and two long horns growing from their heads.

They are humanoid for the most part, but occasionally, they are shown with unnatural features such as odd numbers of eyes or extra fingers and toes. Their skin may be any number of colors, but red and blue are particularly common.

They are often depicted wearing tiger-skin loincloths and carrying iron clubs called kanabo . This idea leads to the expression "oni with an iron club" (鬼に金棒 oni-ni-kanabō), that is, to be invincible or impossible to defeat in rough translation. It can also be used in the sense of "strong beyond strong", or having one's natural quality enhanced or supplemented by the use of some tool. In addition to this, it can mean to go overboard, or be unnecessarily strong or powerful.

Oni are one the greatest icons of Japanese folklore. They are large and scary, standing taller than the tallest man, and sometimes many times that. They come in many varieties, but are most commonly depicted with red or blue skin, wild hair, two or more horns, and fang-like tusks. Other variations exist in different colors and with different numbers of horns, eyes, or fingers and toes. They wear loincloths made of the pelts of great beasts. All oni possess extreme strength and constitution, and many of them are also accomplished sorcerers. They are ferocious demons, bringers of disaster, spreaders of disease, and punishers of the damned in Hell.

The Oni are born when truly wicked humans die and end up in one of the many Buddhist Hells, transformed into Oni. They become the ogreish and brutal servants of Great Lord Enma, ruler of Hell, wielding iron clubs with which they crush and destroy humans solely for enjoyment. An oni’s job is to mete out horrible punishments such as peeling off skin, crushing bones, and other torments too horrible to describe to those who were wicked (but not quite wicked enough to be reborn as demons themselves). Hell is full of oni, and they make up the armies of the great generals of the underworld.

Occasionally, when a human is so utterly wicked that his soul is beyond any redemption, he transforms into an oni during life, and remains on Earth to terrorize the living. These transformed oni are the ones most legends tell about, and the ones who pose the most danger to humankind.

These oni are the stuff of legends and fairy tails, countless stories of lords and ladies, warriors and rogues that make up Japanese mythology. No two stories about oni are exactly alike except for one thing: The oni are always the villains of mankind.

: Originally, all spirits, ghosts, and monsters were known as oni. The root of their name is a word meaning “hidden” or “concealed,” and it was written with the Chinese character for “ghost.” In the old days of Japan, before the spirits were as well-cataloged as they are today, oni could be used to refer to almost any supernatural creature – ghosts, obscure gods, large or scary youkai, even particularly vicious and brutal humans. As the centuries shaped the Japanese language, the definitions we know today for the various kinds of monsters gradually came into being. Today, the word oni generally only refers to this specific category of male demons. Female demons are known by another name: kijo

In more recent times, oni have lost some of their original wickedness and sometimes take on a more protective function. Men in oni costumes often lead Japanese parades to ward off any bad luck, for example. Japanese buildings sometimes include oni-faced roof tiles called onigawara, which are thought to ward away bad luck, much like gargoyles in Western tradi-

The tome was suddenly taken from the reader's hands by a woman with waist length blonde hair, who had a bothered face "Of course we are always depicted to be the villains, this reference is ancient" she huffed and rubbed the bridge of her nose. "Ok, you may be wondering why I'm here, but I will give you some more recent info from the actual source, me."

The horned blonde woman sat on the chair in the other side of the table, in front of the reader. "Ok, yes, we were like that in the past, or at least a great deal of the Oni, can't argue there, but not all of us were sorely focused on rage, evilness and all that gibberish, some of us had other jobs, like keeping monsters and sinners inside Hell itself." she pointed out "The Oni are ridiculously strong, some legends saying that they can level forests with their screams and crumble mountains with their raw strength, of course, they aren't stupid, just imagine an unstoppable army of monster like looking humanoids that can destroy pretty much everything with a single punch or kick."

Taking a sip from her dish with sake, the woman continued, "Now, about the Oni on the surface, some do became like that because of Humans losing their light, thus becoming the monsters depicted in those ancient drawings and exaggerated tales, but not all Oni are evil, they just look different" she said while putting the dish on the desk, yet her hand was still close to it, as if protecting the simple looking object. "Most Oni actually look like humans, but they are way taller, stronger and tend to have either a horn, are more physical, or simply follow more their instincts rather than logic in most cases. But one thing that they tend to forget in those pieces of work, and I haven't found a book, tome or scroll yet, is that oni do enjoy to party and be festive." she smirked.

"Most Oni can be calm if they are enjoying the day, while others need to be practically drunk to not cause unecessary ruckus, funny thing for being the pinnacle of strength, many are a bunch of lightweights with alcohol."

The woman got up from the chair and looked at the reader "If you want an updated version of how the Oni act, go to the Physical Education class or the earth oriented elemental classes, you are in for a surprise" the blonde gave a slight node and held her chair to push it to its position, the metal of the generic chair was crushed by her hand, but her face showed she didn't notice while leaving.

Haven't forgotten about this project. Since activity is picking up on the rp section i figured it's a good time to finish this.
          Spoiler:

At the dawn of time their existed two worlds which sat side by side. The world of man, and the world of magic. At first these worlds were as one, existing in harmony. Man and either relayed one one another both for survival and for companionship. But human foolishness would ruin everything. Mankind evolved to a point where they could be independent of their Aether brothers and sisters. Agriculture, hunting, fishing, weapons and soldiers. These advancements caused the humans to become bold, arrogant. They had forgotten how they had once relied on the Aether.

The humans shunned the aether. They were different, obsolete, unwanted. Years of discrimination finally lead to war between two two races. The Aether were greatly overpowered, and many of them died. The war finally ended when nine powerful Aether used their magic to form another world, a separate frequency within their own. One that man could never enter. With their awesome power, the nine sealed the remaining aether away where o more harm could come to them. The magic was lost.

Humans began to forget what it as like to know, to feel magic. In time the events of the war were lost to history to be remembered by no one. Without a connection to mortals, the aether lost their physical form. The magic beings turned into pure energy, doomed to flutter in the wind for all of eternity. The nine precursors each gave a third of their power to ensure their future. In a last ditch effort, they created the ultimate weapon that would one day free them, and breath life into the aether again.

It wouldn't be until a thousand moons before the aether would again take form. A group of three traveling brothers came across an ancient and mysterious blue orb. Inscribed with precursor markings just suddenly appeared. It's purpose, ad it's origin were unknown, but when they touched it, something unusual happened. The markings on the orb began to illuminate. A bright flash filled the sky as all the arcane wisdom in the world filled the minds of the three brothers.

The artifact they found was the answer, the truth, the link between our world and the next. The orb acted as a bridge from the aether to the realm of men. But in creating that pathway, something much greater was accomplished. Creatures from countless other worlds were sucked into our existence. Some vengeful, some benevolent, others neutral. And while some of these creatures shared many similarities with humans, they were not the same. These supernatural beings went by many different names. demons, vampires, dragons, dullahans and many many more. this event would go down in history as "The Great Link"

The coming of magic beings sparked world wide chaos and panic. Many civilizations broke out into war for territory, resources and food. Some species, such as the elves managed to live peacefully among the mortals, while others were sealed away, forced to go back where they came from. The three brothers who discovered the orb, now known as the trinity lent their power, and together managed to stop the fighting by forming a barrier around the magical and supernatural beings.

The trinity built a school within this space and instructed the Daichi family to run it. It would be their duty to pass arcane wisdom from one generation to the next. The magical world lived in secret, apart from the rest of humanity while still being in contact with it. a mage could enter and leave the barrier at will, so long as they had permission. This went on for over a thousand years. The idea of magic, vampires, ghosts and other monsters had become a thing of legend and fantasy among mortals.

In the year 1966, the Pravus family grew envious of the Daichi families power and authority over the school as well as their influence within the barrier. With hearts filled with hatred, they shattered the barrier, throwing the world into chaos. They declared war against the school and the Daichi family. But while the Pravus were powerful and formidable foes, they were foolish. several families of great power, including the Karayan family, Hama clan, the Mizu household and several other large magical powers all joined the fight. the Pravus was wiped off the face of the earth, leaving nothing but a memory behind.

50 years have passe since then. The Daichi family was unable to contact the trinity, and the barrier still remains broken. The world of magic and the world of man live side by side as one earth. Things were bad at first, but a man named Abert Heartman came to the aid of the magic community. He as a mortal accepted them into their world and used his political influence to convince others to do the same.

Although he managed to prevent war between the two worlds, there was still much discrimination between them. The Magical and supernatural rights association was formed to correct this problem. It's taken a long time, but magical people and creatures now have the same rights as humans in most countries.

The school was taken to an island in the Atlantic Ocean. Many buildings from various cultures have been built in the island since then, but it's mostly maintained it's arcanic culture. Many parts of the school have been refurbished and modernized for the 21st century while still maintaining its mystical feel.

            Spoiler:

            The animalia folk.

If someone were to look for what this species is, they would find countless tomes about it, probably enough to fill the fabled Babylon Tower, why is this? because the animalia people are as varied as the animals in the Human world, the diversity of this group is too big to fit into a single encyclopedia, that is why there are more detailed tomes about each of the species of the animalia, because not only there are thousands of species, but also subspecies that would drive a scholar into madness if he were to try to collect every piece of information.

The animalia folk, as the paragraph above says, is an immensely varied group of people who have adapted, be it by evolution, magic, or even a cosmic twist of fate that made them have traits of the animals in the Human World, which is also difficult to classify because each individual can have unique traits, from simply having the ears of a wolf, or the tail of a lizard, to the other side of the spectrum, where the animal traits are dominant, covering the person in fur, scales, or even being able to transform into the "natural" form of the animal they are related with.

Another fact of the animalia folk is that they also share the abilities of their animal, like resistance to harsh weathers, extremely developed sensory skills, flight, being able to breath under water, and the possibilities keep going. Some would say this is one step forward into evolution, others.. they think it is a problem

Like with the constant war that happened thousands of moons ago between the Humans and Aethers, the Animalia people have been at odds with the Human and with themselves.

For the case of the former, there has always been a problem with the Humans and things they don't understand or fear, thus unfortunately taking violence as their first option as a general consensus, there are problems with themselves even, be it by the color of their skin, or the deity they worship, even simple things become problems for this, but when magic became a thing again and the Animalia folk appeared with the other species, problems became a thing again. The Humans tended to look at this group between Humans and normal animals, not so little as the "feral" kinds of them, but not enough to be seen as an equal.

As for the Animalia themselves, there are problems with each of them too, while the more common problem someone would think was the difference between predators and prey, surprisingly, they adapted pretty well to it, balancing their diets into food that would supply their need for proteins and energy. The problem with the Animalia Folk is that they are at odds because of which side to choose from, one being the "Human", the other "Natural", and those "in between".

The first side, being mostly populated by those who have minimum traits of their animal side, want to be with the Humans, some ashamed of their traits, and try to hide them. The second side, being with the population of beings almost fully animal, but being in an anthropomorphic form, that being probably the only trait left to become an actual "animal". The last side, is actually the biggest, which is also the more diverse, tending to avoid the problem and adapt with the different species on the World, this group is the one most people understand.

Now, there are also drawbacks or weaknesses when it comes to having traits of the animal the individuals share with, for example, in most canine folk, their ears can hear higher pitched noises, which could also cause pain when in loud zones, others might even share monochromatic eyesight since most animals in Earth can't see in the same spectrum of colors as humans do, even the emotional part of the Animalia kind share the weaknesses, an example is the alleged fear of water from the feline folks or the anger of the bovines against certain colors, but this subject needs to be more explored to write it in an official tome.

This will be the list of races going into the rp. If you wish to make a race of your own then please use the format you see here. Be resonable and don't make an over powered race.

              Vampires
              Spoiler:

              Name of the race: Vampires

              Gender: Both

Appearance: They look like normal humans with pale skin and red eyes. They have two fangs in their mouth and can sometimes have bat like wings on their back. Vampires usually maintain a youthful appearance for their whole lives

Abilities: Vampires have stronger senses than normal humans, including the power to see in the dark. They have a high healing/regeneration factor at night or when their away from direct sunlight. Their speed and strength are superior to that of a human, as are their reflexes and stamina. A vampire's abilities will grow over time as they feed on more blood. This gives them near unlimited potential if they can survive for long enough. More advanced vampires can turn their body into a bat or a swarm of bats or control parts of their body that have been severed by a non silver blade.

weaknesses: A vampire's ability to heal and their stamina do not work when exposed to sunlight. A vampire's speed, strength, durability, reflexes, senses and overall health are cut in half, making them more vulnerable than humans while in he sun. Prolonged exposure to sunlight will kill them unless they have some sort of protection. Silver will negate the vampire's ability to heal if used as a weapon. A silver blade to the heart will kill a vampire, as will using a silver blade to decapitate the vampire. Vampires are weak against fire magic.

History: Vampires first came to earth after the great link. They almost instantly found themselves at war with the humans, their now primary sours of blood. Many vampires starved to death after the great link, leaving their numbers few and far in between. After helping the Daichi family in one of the wars, one of the vampire clans would raise to power, thriving as the most powerful vampiric family in the world.

Behavior: Most vampires are proud beings who think of themselves as the mightiest race of all. Some of them may have a natural hostility towards humans and other races from which they feed. Young vampires will often lose control of their hunger and attack if not taken care of.

Biology: Vampies can not age or get sick, making them virtually immortal. They can turn other races into half blooded vampires by biting them and injecting them with their venom. This effectively kills the host to preform the transformation. This dose not work on races classified as undead. A vampire must sacrifice 25% of their power to create a new vampire, once this is done, the power lost can only be regained through feeding. In addition to venom, a vampire can hold up to a pint of any other liquid inside their body that can then be injected into others with their fangs. some vampires have used this to hold medicine or other drugs.

              Kitsunes
              Spoiler:

              Name of the race: Kitsune

              Gender: Female

Appearance: Beautiful women with fox ears and 1-9 fox like tails. A kitsune may also take the form of a fox with the same number of tails.

Abilities: Kitsune gain more abilities the more tails they have. Most kitsune have the ability to control lightning or fire and have a higher intelligence than most races. A kitsune with nine tails is said to have all the power of a god, being able to see everything and hear everything, cast powerful illusions and grant wishes. The ninth tail is said to also grant them infinite wisdom Kitsunes can posses humans or any magical creature who is weaker than they are. A kitsune with two or more tails can shape shift, taking the form of a beautiful woman, a young girl or an elderly man.

weaknesses: A kitsune can be easily sealed by simply speaking her name. Once sealed a kitsune can be eternally enslaved to the person whom sealed her. Because of this, kitsune often give fake names to mortals and other magical beings.

History: The kitsune were first brought to our world during the great link. To escape the war many kitsune took the appearance of or even possessed some humans in order to hide themselves. Since 1966 he kitsune have been living in plain sigh among humans. Sometimes as lovers, other times as a pet or garden.

Behavior: The kitsune are a race of mischievous foxes. Many of them enjoy playing pranks and causing trouble for greedy humans. Benevolent kitsune are known to hide themselves among humans and will often marry an unsuspecting man or woman. A malevolent fox will often play more extreme or deadly pranks Their victims are usually men, women are possessed instead. For example, kitsune are thought to employ their possessed human to lead travelers astray. Another tactic is for the kitsune to confuse its target with illusions or visions. Other common goals of trickster kitsune include seduction, theft of food, humiliation of the prideful and vengeance.

Biology: Kitsunes are known to be quite a bit faster and stronger than normal humans. they rely on their good looks to seduce mortals into sleeping with them, this is one of the few ways they can feed. Other than sex, kitsunes enjoy eating tofu and rice. All kitsune are born with one tail and grow a new tail every one hundred years. they are unable to use magic until they reach 100 years of age.
