Jennifer could see that Misaka seemed a little tense about ther person that had a gun aimed at her earlier was now in their home, so she was a bit quick in alleviating her concern.

"He's alright. It seems it was all a misunderstanding.", Jenny said to Misaka as she gestured over to the super soldier.

Meanwhile, Jason seemed to disregard what the two were saying. Instead, his gaze was fixed on his revolver, the one that the scientist had taken apart. Jason did not like that. His revolver was one thing, but if they were taking apart and examining something as simple as his gun, then what were they doing to his more complex weapons? He did not trust them to properly handle his weapons without possibly damaging them, and he did not appreciate them just cracking open what was his for their own gain. Immediately, Jason took a couple steps forward before speaking.

"Where's the other weapons?", he asked in an almost accusatory tone of voice. It was rather clear he didn't like what he was seeing.

As the woman was beginning to leave, the man finally got what he needed from the computer and called out.

"Before you go, I have found a few job openings. One is a part-time job as a waitress. Pays $9.05 an hour. 32 hours a week. It is available, and I can put you through to my manager. The other is kitchen duty, full time. $17.50 an hour, 50 hours a week. As I said I can put you through to my manager if you wish to apply." The man spoke in a tone that was sounding a bit less... intimidating.

013 just looked at Senna with a look of annoyance and shook his head, all the while pushing her hand away. "Now's not the time for sweets, and first aid can wait." He said, while also keeping an ear out for what Sam and the others were talking about. He also took a look at the very little spider-like drone that was hitching a ride on Samantha. Seeing it he nodded in agreement. "Very well then. Men, do a quick body check. If you find ANYTHING out of the ordinary on yourself, then remove it post haste. Don't be afraid to scrap entire articles of clothing if need be." He commanded as he stood up and began checking himself as much as possible for any of those drones, while his men began to check each other for anything else like the drones.


013 did however find one. It was a tiny one, that once he spotted it, it crawled right into his glove. Seeing this he quickly responded by pulling off his gloves and tossing them to the ground before stomping on the gloves. This made him barehanded, and if Sam was attentive, she would have saw the brand typical of an IP line soldier. With the number 013 branded into the palm of his left hand. If Senna saw this, she'd be even more sure... if she wasn't already assured, that this was her 'brother'.

While the green man was walking through the sewers ahead of Koi, but not too ahead, a lot of thoughts were going through his mind. Various thoughts of what he should call himself, what should he do after this? Will he see his new friend again? Among those thoughts he was also focusing as hard as he could on where to go. In fact he was already having a good idea. As they proceeded down the sewers... which was honestly quite smelly, but thankfully for Koi he did seem to act like a slight air freshener whenever he was in close proximity to her. He smelled quite fruity even. Well back on topic, they eventually did make it to a fork in the sewer tunnels.

"Now if memory is servin' me correctly, one of these pathways will lead us to the river. " He said to himself as he thought, trying to remember... Which he was having a hard time with, but he
did have a hunch... if he recalls. "Now we just gotta find the home of them ol' rats. What was it called again? Oh yeah, a nest. You spot that, and it'll take you straight to the river! Now why the river you ask? Well last I recall there was a place with a bunch of ol' vehicles near the river. Could easily find somethin' there."

Little senna sits there not entirely listening to the group, she knows that whats going on is serious, but she doesn't wanna listen to it. she is too much in thought right now to even bother with the issue, she knows that her brother is here, but what's the point if Iris is confirmed to be around now. She starts to look around again and decides to take out some first aid supplies and another jellybean from her compartments, hoping to help 013 in his endeavors.

"here! Some sweets and sutures should help you brother!!!" she exclaims in her usually cheery voice, having a hard time masking her worry behind the cheeriness. She wants to try her hardest to keep herself clear as she sends out her nanobots to go and check the hull of the ship for anything peculiar around them.

watching the man, she looks at him and exclaims "no need, I think the other place wanted an interview from me." before walling off on her own, leading her sister out of there. The mans whole demeanor freaked her out, how the hell did this guy even know who the hell she was? who does he work for? the government? some secret society that wants to kill her or something? she doesn't trust the guy and she goes to leave quickly.

"There is no need for sky diving." the computerized voice could be heard from the speakers "Our rendezvous point will be protected so this shuttle can properly land. I will warn you though, you will have approximetely 7 seconds to get out before the shuttle leaves again for possible threats, like the one being held between S-034´s fingers.". It was true, there was a tiny bug being stuck between Samantha's gloved fingers, it took her some time to pinpoint the location of the hissing sound, but she had seen it, a spider, or to be more specific, a mechanical spider.

"You heard him, as soon as we land, we get out and preferably look at yourselves for anything that isn't supposed to be there." the experiment spoke, crushing the drone and examining her tail for anything that shouldn't be there."

Soon, the view of the ocean could be seen from the cockpit's window, there was nothing but water, but Sara was already lowering the altitude of the Pigeon "You will see a green light in two to three minutes. That means you got one minute to take your equipment with you and wait for the ship to land." she warned, then turned to the controls "Edward, what is the status of the landing zone."

"The landing zone will be ready in time, I should ask the same of you, pilot Lynchwood, are you capable of making the landing?" the Ai, named Edward, asked, this earned a faint grin from the blonde.

"Just trust me."

013 just looked up at the others after hearing the problem they were having. Hearing this he just sighed and spoke. "So what. We're going to go for a little skydiving trip?" 013 replied as one of his men who was sitting beside him, finishing up the makeshift first-aid and spoke.

"But sir you're hurt-"

"Don't worry about it. I've been through much worse and still did some dumb things. A freaking bullet wound isn't going to slow me down, but are you ready for such a stunt?"

"Y-Yes sir, but I still think-"

"That's all I needed to hear. Now what about the rest of you?" He said as he looked at the rest of his men who just seemed to nod and gave a quick salute along with a "Sir, yes sir!" Almost not wanting to question their commanding officer.

At that moment 013 turned to Sam. "You heard em. We're ready if you're plan is to just jump out of this thing."

With everything settled, Alex turned back to the laboratory doors and pushed them open. The inside was filled with computers and various big machines that were used during the esper augmentation. To the far left side of the wall were two more double doors leading into some other room. Jason would have been able to see a few weapon schematics along with research notes, chemicals and other things typically found in a science lab. There was an asian man in a lab coat standing in the canter of the room next to the brunette whom had snatched his guns with electro magnetism.

The middle aged Asian man had Jason's revolver with him and seemed to be putting it back together after having taken it apart. The ammo was nowhere to be seen and it was safe to say the cylinder was empty. Misaka was the first to notice him come in as she quickly ran over to the white haired boy. "Alex you're hurt!" she shouted as she ran over to inspect his arm. However as she got close, she saw Jason walking up behind him and took a step back. "Wait... isn't he...?"

Jennifer gave an instinctive nod to Network and looked back to the rotating room. With just an iota of her power, she twisted the entire room and reset the lock.

("There. No chance of being followed now."), Jen thought to herself. She then stood by and waited for Alex to escort Jason to the lab, following beside Alex.

Jason was quite confused about this place. He heard that there were splinter groups of Psychics that fought against the government, so he was expecting militarized architecture and guards. Instead, this place looked a bit like an underground house. He could even see that there were pictures of the two psychics that were escorting him, as well as that other kid and a few others he hadn't seen before. By this, he could tell that they had more like a civilian arrangement, and that these kids might have been fighting or groomed for this lifestyle for longer than he originally thought, much like himself.

After a few short moments, Jason looked away from one of the picture frames and to both Alex and Jennifer.

"Alright, lead the way.", Jason said to the two of them.

Alex turned the knob of the door and tossed it open. Originally he had wanted to close the rotating room behind them to make sure no one could potentially follow them in. catching wind of that request however, Network would have alerted Jenny to that wish. "It's right this way." Alex said as he walked past the metal door to lead him inside.

The inside of the base looked very comfy looking. There was a wood thin wood paneling over the hard concrete walls, making the place look more relaxing. The walls were also covered in posters, stickers and wall scrolls that the espers and workers had collected over the years. There were pictures of Alex, Jenny and the others from when they were young, playing games and doing various activities together.

To the left was a long hallway leading to the other end of the base and to the right a hallway leading forward. Alex however turned left and went to a set of double doors with the words "Research & Development". Looking back at Jason as he made his way over he gave him a short warning. "Stick close to me and Jen. If their not expecting company they might freak out when they see you."

"Greaaat...", Jenny said looked over at Alex with a bit of a funny squint to her eyes, showing that she was kind of dreading what might happen next, but was sure it wouldn't be too severe.

Meanwhile, Jason's attention to the impressive room was torn away when mention of his guns came up. He immediately looked over at Alex and walked over to him.

"Can you lead me there?", Jason asked.

Alex stopped and let Jason take it all while Jenny caught up to him. When she asked about weather or not everyone knew Jason was coming with them, he stopped and scratched his head for a bit before shrugging. "Hell if I know." he said in a rather laid back tone compared to how he usually was. "I guess they know as much as network told them." he said again before heading to the metal door at the other end of the hall. "You're weapons are probably in the lab area. It's not far."

Immediately after Jason made contact with the ground, the door above closed shut and sealed itself tight, thanks to Jen. After that, Jason followed by Jennifer entered the chamber. Jason slowed his walk as he paused to look at this room's construction, and he had to admit that he was impressed. The room was like some kind of giant puzzle, a massive lock to their HQ.

While Jason stood in awe of the mechanisms that had to be in place for such a room to exist, Jenny maneuvered around him and walked up to Alex.

"So does everyone know that we're bringing him in?", Jen quietly asked Alex.

With everyone inside, Alex was able to relax a bit. "Finally" he spoke aloud before letting his shoulder's relax. "Can you get the door please?" he asked without really specifying who, although Jenny probably knew more about how to lock them than Jason. As this happened he went to the seemingly dead end of the short hallway and with his good arm, touched the wall and slid it to the side. The back wall started to move, rotating farther and farther until Jason would have seen a doorway slide into view. The lights from the round spinning room showed the walls to be a heavy concrete with a sort of lead layer in the center. No way in hell anyone would find him down here if Jason didn't want to be found.

On the opposite end of the room was another short hallway ending in a metal door with the word "ENTER" written above it. Even if anyone managed to find one of the entrances, they were all pretty well protected by layers of doors and gates only an esper with the right powers could open. Anyone trying to force their way in would cause plenty of sound. "Home sweet hole in the ground." Alex said as he waited by the door to the round room, waiting for his two travel buddies to go ahead in.

Seeing how her teasing had little effect, Jennifer simply gave a light yet knowing sigh before sliding all the way down to the bottom, to which Alex had followed. Jason took a look down the hole and followed suit, actually using the rungs of the ladder to get down. When he finally made it down, he couldn't help but feel a little confused. He knew there was more to this room than just a dead end, though he did not know what.

Jenny's teasing might have had a better affect on Alex had it not been for the rather serious situation. He was prone to blushing whenever Jenny did something like that, but it only worked in relaxed environments. At the moment Alex was too focused on what was going on. His facial expression didn't change much as he jumped down after Jenny and walked down the short hallway. Once Jason was inside he would have seen their little hole simply ended in a dead end, but he would likely have an idea as to why that was.

The green man acting so quickly simply affirmed her opinions on them. Thye couldn't stick around, despite their friendliness. They were too quick to act without thinking. A liability, considering the circumstances. Regardless, after scanning the area once more, they dropped down the hole, covering the hole as they did so.

Above them, a call was made.

"Target is confirmed. Very likely the Infinite you were looking for, ma'am." replied one voice, androgynous sounding but somewhat synthesized.

"Good. Any complications?" came the other, a rather formal woman's voice.

"None so far, however the target appears to be travelling with... honestly, ma'am, they appear to be a man made of condensed glowing gas of some description. Scans show nothing like it."

"Curious. Continue to follow."

"Affirmative, ma'am."

The first thing Koi noted was the smell. A rancid and foul odor to most, and Koi was unfortunately part of that most. Her eyes widened as she held her nose close with her fingers.

"You's be really luckystuffs to not have a nose, Mr. Marshmellow." Koi replied. "Lead the ways. Maybes kinda fast-likes."
