"Well, I just came from that platform thing in there. Some guy called Cicero helped me get here. Actually, he mentioned a fella called Nero, actually." Mima explained, hovering before the two as she flicked her ghostly tail back and forth.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

Eleos stopped and turned halfway. "...you have a scanner?...alright." He turned the rest of the way. "If you want to help...ok." He looked off into the distance mulling things over in his mind before speaking again. "Say, what's your name?"

"Cicero? Wait a minute...are we talking about Cicero as in Cicero Pen--ARGH!" The soldier suddenly fell over, unconscious.
"Woops." Nero said in an almost sarcastic tone as he quickly put away the tranquilizer device he used on his comrade. "So your the reason Cicero dragged me out here...huh..." He looked the woman over quickly and then looked back to the soldier. "Ok then... while he's out, let's settle out who you are first."

Mima looked down at the unconsious man. "Well, my name's Mima, i think, and was that really neccesary?"

"When it comes to Cicero, yes. Lucky he didn't fully make the connection, otherwise there would have been real trouble. Anyway, Mima, is it? Ok I need to ask ya something: Did Cicero tell you anything strange to remember or give you a strange object?"

Hearing the how she can scan, the white haired pointed to her eyes "My eyes are mechanical as you can see, they act as a HUD with maps, scanner, zooming and other things" she explained as her irises had a calm glow when focusing

"My name is Mara, and what would be yours stranger?" the bioroid asked while starting to scan her surroundings

There were small vegetations and some small animals hiding from both humanoids, but there were still no humans to find yet.

"Well, not really. He gave me some digital bag thing, and this." Mima undigitized the hakkero and showed it to Nero.

"And he told me to find you." Mima continued.

Nero shook his head. "Hrm...a Mini-Hakkero T-type? Odd...meh...If that was the most out-of-place item he gave you then there's probably no other obvious clues he left..." Nero sighed. "Anyway where are ya from?"

Eleos hesitated before answering. ".......Gunner. Just call me Gunner." He then noted the fact about Mera's eyes. "To have to replace your eyes..." he shook his head as though to clear some bad thought. "I can imagine what might have happened, after everything I've seen..." He then turned and started to walk in the direction away from the city. "Let's go. One last pass on the Outter Walls. If there's any survivors, they'll be there. I thought I knew the passages after all the time I had to use them to survive, but even I can miss sometimes." he grinned. "99.99% One heck of a ratio..."

"Well, that's the thing. I don't know. All I know is that I woke up in the middle of some ocean on that other planet with pretty much most of my memories gone aside from the very basic ones, and nothing with me but my staff, and the clothes off my back. Then that Cicero guy found me, talking about that I had gone through a lot and not even realized it, and then took me to that tower and told me to find you. Says you're brothers or somethin'." Mima explained.

Walking through the outer walls, the golden eyed scanned her surroundings, there were again some rodents eating what she hoped was a dead animal, but seeing this kind of destruction lowered her hopes for each pass she did

"If there are survivors, they are either underground in a bunker or behind heavy thick walls" she said while moving somw rocks in the hope to find atleast a husk of somebody, with that she could know the seriousness of what happened im the city

Suddenly a blip crossed her HUD "Wait.. There is something alive, I can't guarantee what it is, but it is slowly moving behind those trees" Mara said already adjusting her arm braces in case if it was a hostile

With nearly no hesitation, Gunner moved to the trees. He pushed back the low-lying foliage out of the way and saw a little girl walking away.
A weight seemed to have been lifted from Gunner's heart. "Hey there..."
The girl turned slowly. Her face seemed almost expressionless. Long faded blonde hair shifted slightly along with her red patchwork dress as she turned. A pendant with a red crystal hung from her frail neck. She was holding onto a doll of what seemed to be a white winged angel in her arms.
                      "What's your name?"
                      "...."
"It's ok....everything will be ok." Gunner went down slowly to one knee to be more on her level. "Could you tell me your name?"
                      ".........Anankerisa."
"Anankerisa? Alright, you can call me-"
                      "...Eleos."
"How...how did you know my name?"
                      "...Stories."
"Stories? ...Ok. Well, let's get you to someplace safe."

Seeing that the possible threat was only a small girl gave Mara both satisfaction and dread ("By the gods.. she is just a girl and I was already planning on an attack.. I have to keep focus") she thougth

Having mechanical parts on your body obviously broke certain human limitations like strength and intellect depending on where the robotic part is installed, some people have gone berzerk because of having no limit at all with their mechanic parts and becoming destructive monsters of technology

("And those were people with some parts, and me? Im mostly a machine than a human or.. what remained of me") she thought trying to ignore that event.

Going back to reality, the golden eyed looked at Gunner or Eleos as the girl called him "Hi there little one, lets us take you to a safe place, ok?" she said crouching to be at the girl´s height with a calm smile hoping the girl would agree with her.

                            ---------------------------------------------------------------------------~~Chapter 1 | Guardians of Helios~~---------------------------------------------------------------------------

After everything was packed and set in order, the Hunters went to their fighters. Personnel that were not pilots or were Drone pilots went to the transport ship. Aion climbed the ladder of the dock system for his fighter, Blade X-02 . He stopped midway, inline with the emblem engraved into an armor plate. A blue phoenix clutching a sword in its talons was positioned over a small line of text
                            Eclipse Blade
He went through the motions of tapping two fingers to his lips and then pressing them against the emblem. He stayed there, for a moment more, as though observing a moment of silence. Then he broke his personal silence by moving his hand from the emblem and thumping the part of the armor plate, where he marked his kills, twice.

                            Maverick Kills: 58
                            Drone Kills: 849 Stopped Counting

Once he climbed into the cockpit, all of the systems whirred to life. Holographic control panels intermixed with physical controls lit up. He grasped both controls on either side as the specialized glass cockpit lowered.
"You ready for this, Arrow?" Joe's voice came in through an open personal channel in the communicator.
"I was born ready." Aion chuckled to himself. Only Joe called him "Arrow," a nickname that Joe developed after the first time he saw him fly in combat. "As true as an arrow shot from the bow of a god. Geez, mate! I've neverseen anyone fly like that before!"
He switched to a group channel. "Alright, sound off, who's ready?"
Systematically, each pilot declared their status.
"This is Red Squadron, we're ready."
"Green Squadron is waitin' on you matey."
"You guys...This is Violet Squadron, ready for takeoff."
                            "Gold Squad, ready to roll!"
Aion was next. "Silver Squadron..." He looked to his right, where Joe was in his fighter. Joe nodded confirmation. "...ready! All Squadrons, prepare for launch on my mark."
Engines roared and dock catapults strained to keep the fighters steady.
"Ready...." Aion adjusted his grip and took a deep breath. "LAUNCH!"
The rail-gun like dock catapults fired off each fighter out the hangar. Aion braced against his seat and pulled back on the controls. The transport followed suit and they gained altitude.
during the ascent, Aion made a banking curve with Eclipse Blade, to get a good look at the transport.

In one of the windows, Terrisa stood waving. He did a two finger salute in response.
"Alright, all squadrons form up and keep an eye on long-range scanners. Standard escort protocols. Formation: Omega... 'Shield Formation'. Keep it tight."

"...the Mirror Sea...?" Nero looked at Mima in bewilderment. Then, he spoke again, but more to himself. "The legends...could they be true after all?" He pondered this for a moment then addressed Mima again. "Ok...I'm going to believe ya because you know Cicero. But...tell no one else about that you came from the Mirror Sea, got that? And tell no one about Cicero. No one." He then went down and used a different device on the unconscious soldier. He immediately woke up.
                            "Ugh...my head...what happened?"
"You tripped and hit your head. Anyway while you were dozing, I figured out who our friend is here."
"Huh? What friend?" The soldier got up and then turned around and noticed Mima. "Her? Oh ok-OW...you sure I just hit my head?"
"Yep. Anyway we should head back to the transport and get back to HQ."
                            "...uh...right."

The little girl looked at Mera and smiled. She took her hand while still holding her angel doll.
"Well, I'll take that as a yes." Eleos then thought for a moment. "To be honest the safest place would be off the planet. I overheard some vultures talking about a Beta Division in Celestora...and I know Celestora is one of the more peaceful systems..." He looked at Mera. "You have a ship...you could take her there."
