    Freighter - Near Senarious

Finally everything went calm and Mara searched fir the girl but she was gone from the station

The bioroid scanned her way through the many cameras and still was no trace of the child.

"How is the freight ship´s condition?" she asked to a worker who explaiined that it was in good state and also notified that Anankaresa was on it

("The heck? but how?") she thought and went back to her vessel

Lifting off and going to space, the black eyed wondered how Anankaresa did that.

Anankerisa had made her way to one of the main landing docks of the freighter. Near the door, there was an open panel of electronics. She looked at it, curiously. Then, without warning part of it short circuited, frying some of the components. Anankerisa giggled and continued down the passage.

        Inopia warp gate

Nhiome was heading for one of the outermost lying planets of Sol Incineron, called Werbenjagermanjensen, also known as werban, KuroiKame had slowed to a "normal" speed. He was calculating what he wanted and could trade for. He had decided to trade two of the crates of steel mainly for aluminium as well as some other metals he would need to continue building the newest ship, some copper as wiring, rubber and such. He would also need to procure some more supplies for his scattered bases. He would keep the last crate to add to his own stores. He was now debating what to do with the crystals, he had already upgraded his ships with the latest technology he could obtain or create, perhaps he should just keep them as a backup in his bases?

Then the scanners beeped. He looked over at the display to see four small dots appear from the slightly bigger blip on the screen that signified the warp gate. They were too small to be transports or cruisers, they could only be fighters, he waited for a transport or cruiser to appear behind them, but nothing else appeared. The fighters usually accompanied a larger ship and did not often travel around on their own, this was unusual. He was too far away to check the warp gates systems for their origin but considering what he just did, they were probably after him. Of course they could just be moving from one base to another, but it was better to be safe than sorry. He increased speed and sped away, the fighters had no chance of catching him now.

        Werbenjagermanjensen

Nhiome entered the atmosphere with no problem, he docked in the underground station. He exited only after putting on the helmet that allowed him to hide his identity, he darkened the visor and activated the voice-distortion program before speaking to the station officials, they easily recognised his ship, it was after all quite unique, being a class of its own. The station required a small fee, but due to the trade he brought, they cut him slack and did not charge him, but he preferred to keep on the best terms with the station officials just in case, he paid the small fee and chatted a bit with them. He then turned to checked the damage from the high speed to make sure none required his immediate attention. He would fix the minor damage once he got back to his base, this was one reason he needed such stores of metals, he had tried improving the hull around the areas that were most often affected, but that affected his speed. His ship was already carefully calibrated, any tweaks would require a large change. He was working on an idea, but he had yet to implement it.

He removed the two crates and placed them on some trolleys available nearby. Once done, he removed a long ranged remote he had made himself. It was fashioned after the technology warp gates used and could send signals across vast distances by just "warping" the signals close to the intended recipient, but to do that, he would already need a receiver that corresponded to the remote in place. In this case, the extra long range was not really required. He remotely steered KuroiKame up into the upper atmosphere, and sent it into orbit, with the proximity alarm switched on again, so he would be alerted should anything approach.

Bringing his loot with him, he then headed to the black market's secret location, where he would be welcomed and would get fair exchanges. One of the things that amused him was the fact that transactions on the wrong side of the law were often more fair, due to the more "dangerous" customers that were received there. Smiling slightly behind his helmet, he entered the black market.

          "Not anything." Mima seemingly replied.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

After getting permision to enter the freighter, the bioroid landed in the deck and started searching for anankarisa

("Where are you little one.. you got to be somewhere in this big sealed can") she thought hacking the closest terminal and looking through the many cameras. But in the back of her mind was the fact that the girl somehow managed ti get into the freighter in seconds

("Was it that she entered just before the hell broke loose on the station? no, I saw her after the freighter already left.. damn, focus Mara, right now her wellfare is more important than how she can teleport through space") the white haired kept focusing on the cameras until she found the child

She was on a landing dock close to the one Mara was stationed. Grinning, the bioroid went to Anankerisa`s location

              ---------------------------------------------------------------------------~~Chapter 1 | Guardians of Helios~~---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Joe reclined in his fighter. Everything was peaceful enough that he thought he'd turn on the autopilot system of his fighter and take a quick nap.

Just as he was slipping into slumber, the sensors beeped. "Ugh...what the..." Joe looked at the screen and saw a small dot on the forward sensor array section. Suddenly, the entire edge of the screen turned red. "...hell?" He tapped on it and a hologram projected a three-dimensional display of the area. All he saw was a swarming mass of dots ahead of them. "...sh*t." Joe opened a channel to Aion. "Yo Arrow! We got some noise on long range sensors!"
              "Great...how bad?"
              "Imagine a wall. Big one."
Aion grunted and also opened a channel to the transport. "This is Silver Leader to Transport Delta. What's the ETA until we reach the rendezvous point?"
"This is Transport Delta, ETA is four minutes."
              "Joe, how long till-?"
              "Three."
"Always...It's never easy." Then, Aion switched to a group channel to all of the Hunters. "Alright peeps, looks like we're not going to be greeted by just the Delta Division welcoming party. Buckle up and hold on tight, things are about to get hot n' heavy." He then switched his fighter to combat mode. The inner console adjusted and seat shifted as the cockpit lowered so that armor plates could slide over it partially. As Aion shifted into a position so that he was laying down forward, all parts of the cockpit that weren't controls displayed the surroundings as though the fighter was transparent. He took a deep breath in and exhaled slowly. "Show time..."

              reality,
              What ever changes?
Nothing ever does for you and I.
              My hands
              keep
              trembling,
              Set me free!
Come free all our fated destinies!
              "

Anankerisa kept skipping through the passage until she saw a control panel with a lever next to it. The controls for the doors in the immediate area. She reached up to try an pull it, but it was just out of her reach. She then stood back and looked down at her doll. A small crystal glowed red inside the doll and she let go of it. The doll hung limp in the air, as though held up by strings. Anankerisa moved her hands as though she was using control bars of a puppet. The little angel doll moved in sync with her hands and floated up to the lever. Then in one quick motion, Anankerisa plunged her hands down and the doll pulled the lever. The doors lowered and sealed off the area, blocking Mara's path to Anankerisa.

              She started to laugh again.

A path extended out from the canyon wall that ran through the middle of the space port to the docked transport.
"Anyway, we'll soon be on the flagship of the Delta Division...and she's a real beauty..."

When the ship they were going after increased speed, Ember had to laugh. "Hmhmhm~ You can run darling, but you can't hide. Spear, did you manage to get an Aura Lens Lock on his craft?"
"Barely, but it's good enough to narrow it down to one planet he seemed to be heading for. I believe...Planet Werban"
"Good. Let's go pay him a visit shall we?" Ember began adjusting her control settings for atmosphere flight. "If we can keep him trapped planet-side, we should be able to overtake him...but first...adjust shielding for minimal radar detection. We don't want to startle the poor thing again, now do we?"

As Mara walked towards the next docking bay, the sealing doors suddenly closed in front of her "You got to be kidding me.. but you know? I also have my tricks whoever you are" she said going for the closest electronic inplug

Making her way to the cyberspace, the bioroid looked at the many firewalls and programs ("Dang.. it was manually closed, lets see what I can do with this") she thought unplugging herself and looking at the door

Focusing on her arms, the white haired took an edge of the seal and pushed with all her might. A whirring could be heard inside of her body as she was surpassing her normal limiters, but the door just managed to be open for just a bit

Sighing, the physically exhausted bioroid looked at the small gap and had an idea ("Maybe I could test the device.. sure why not") she thought while taking out her handheld portal creator.

Aiming to the wall, a white energy sphere was fired and made an oval on the wall "So far so good, the first door is there, now for the second one" Mara said to herself aiming between the gap and fired a yellow sphere sticking on the other side of the door. Both ovals rumbled a bit and showed their connectionm yet it was blurry.

("Here goes nothing, time for some practical tests") the bioroid said running and taking a leap into the white portal and exiting from the yellow one. ("It worked! the portal creator can wo-") she stopped her thought as both ovals suddenly imploded leaving just small burn marks on the walls ("I got to check their time limits")

"Now where are you little one?" Mara asked outloud searching for the girl

"The Delta Division's Flagship, Excalibur, is an Alpha Class Battle Cruiser capable of carrying approximately 500 million people, 1.5 million aerial fighters, 750 thousand aerial transports, 650 thousand ground assault vehicles, 350 thousand ground transports, and 5 Zeta Class carriers. In addition, Alpha Class carriers are equipped with 40 billion external cannons, machine guns, and missile launchers. In short, an Alpha Class Battle Cruiser is big enough and armed to the point where it could put the fear of god in any opponent. Only nine have ever been built, four for the Venturian Council, one of which disappeared without a trace, which is incredible considering the fact it's impossible to hide something as big as an Alpha Class, three are in the possession of the NGO, and two by the Guardians." The soldier explained with gusto.
Nero merely smirked. "And half of that she probably doesn't even remotely understand at the moment with her memories gone. Anyway, a better definition is that it's about the size of a small planet with enough firepower to annihilate anything. And what's more, The Delta Division fleet not only has an Alpha class, but also 4 Beta Classes, which is the next size down, about 3/4ths of an Alpha, 3 Deltas, an eighth of an Alpha, and 7 Lambdas, about a thirty-second of an Alpha."

Nero grinned sheepishly. "Well...when you're up against opponents with an arsenal of three Alpha classes and only heaven knows what else they have...there is no such thing as 'too much'..."
Then he adopted a grave face. "If anything...we actually don't have enough to face the entire NGO and the Guardians... if the Guardians do decide to attack us...they're the wild card we're not sure about. The reason we'd be worried is cause it would be their 5 Alphas against our three...that in of itself is..."

Nhiome called down KuroiKame and started loading the goods he had acquired. He had manage to trade for enough, rubber, aluminium, copper, cloth and other materials so that he could probably nearly finish his last build, he would still need more materials, but those could be acquired later. This last build was going to be special and was going to be the most powerful among his entire fleet, it could not fight a battle cruiser, at least not in a direct confrontation of firepower and shields but in speed...

He felt a twinge in his right arm and was reminded of his limited time left. He wondered for a moment what he would do with his fleet once he died, he supposed someone else would find the outposts eventually, hopefully they might use the ships or the design instead of just scrapping it. Maybe he should start a war and go down in a blaze of glory or something of the like. At the moment he had no one he really hated, those people were already gone, but it would at least let him see how good his ships were against those "classic" fighters. He would consider it. He smiled grimly and continued loading.
