Norman returned with a box of test Pokeballs. "Alright, let's head outsid-"
"Excuse me..."
Yuuka turned around to find a young boy named Dylan that she met two days ago. Dylan was taught basic arithmatics by Violet, and he ran away to his house when he saw Yuuka due to her menacing look.
"I... I would like to learn how to catch Pokemon please..." Dylan muttered. How old was he? 10?
"Oh you're Dylan right?" Norman greeted the little boy. "Of course, you can join us."
"Thank you." Dylan smiled widely and, noticing Yuuka, he let out a small yelp.
"Don't worry kid, I'm not gonna bite you." Yuuka giggled at the boy's naïvete. "Let's proceed."
"Wild Pokemon are found in tall grass." Once outside, Norman led the three tutees to Route 102. "When you find one, let me know."
"Alright." Yuuka nodded and began to search around.
Sinnoh Region - Route 216
The attack worked. As Tenshi Tackled the rock, Machoke missed his Karate Chop, throwing him off balance and sending him tumbling downhill alongside the avalanche. He eventually came to a stop when he hit a tree.
Tenshi grew to Lv: 6!
Snow grew to Lv: 7!
Tenshi learned Mud Sport!

"Good to see there's one of ya with some 'pokeballs!' I was starting to worry~" Lyrica sneered. "Alright, now, shall we dance?"
She then evaluated the situation. "Zubat...a flying type which means Diggy won't be effective here...thus, I have to let Mystia carry this battle forward on the offensive. If I read the Pokedex correctly...Zubat can also inflict a status effect...so I can use Diggy's rapid spin..."
"Alright!" She jumped forward slightly, "Mystia! Go in with a tackle!" She then added in her mind, "If that Zubat does anything against Diggy, I'll have him do a Rapid Spin immediately as a counter...As soon as it does, I'll give the command...don't want to reveal my hand to my opponent just yet..."

Route 216
Snow and Koishi closed their eyes as the Machoke hit the tree, and had a somewhat worried loook on their faaces as Tenshi came back.
"That's gonna hurt in the morning." the three said at once.
Tenshi then put one of his arms around Koishi's leg.
"Thanks for helping me deal with him, he's been harassing me ever since I was a Geodude. Maybe you aren't as bad as I thought." Tenshi said.
"You too, Tenshi." Koishi smiled.
"Now then, we have a mountain to get to, don't we?" Tenshi smirked, and the three started heading down the path again, the mountain seemingly growing as they inche closer and closer.
Snow and Koishi closed their eyes as the Machoke hit the tree, and had a somewhat worried loook on their faaces as Tenshi came back.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.
You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

"That's right! Take my bait!" The grunt laughed with joy. "Go, Gastly!"
Gastly was a black sphere with purple aura and a mischievous face. Mystia's attack seemingly went straight through the Pokemon as the Ghost Pokemon giggled and swooned, circling above and taunting Mystia.
Gastly - Lv: 5
"Gastly, use Hypnotize on that Pidgey! Zubat, suck the life out of her!"
"That's right! Take my bait!" The grunt laughed with joy. "Go, Gastly!"

"Dammit...This is bad...how am I supposed to deal with a ghost?! Grr...C'mon...I gotta have something I can use..." Lyrica looked to her pouch, hoping that there was something else that might help her now...
"For the time being I'll have to bide my time..." While she looked at her pouch, she gave another set of commands and took the potion and prepped it for Mystia. "Mystia! Fly low and-!" She stopped short when she realized Mystia had fallen asleep. "Ugh! Diggy! Go! Keep that Zubat away from her! Use Rapid Spin!"
"C'mon...I need to knock that Zubat out...I need to improvise...I need to win this fair and square otherwise I'll be eating my own words...This pouch better have something!"

Mt. Coronet
The trio approached the towering Mt. Coronet, the mountain's top covered by cloud, as it loomed above them, casting a shadow down.
"Geez, we have to go through that?" Koishi asked.
"Yeah. Only way to get south, there's a huge system of caves inside." Tenshi explained, going through a hole in the mountain, opening up to a somewhat dark tunnel. Koishi was used to it, due to her time down in Old Hell. Aside from the Ancient City, it got quite dark in there.
"This way." Tenshi said, going down the corridor, the others following suit.
In the next room, a small underwater lake greeted them.
"Legends say this mountain is where this entire region was created from long ago." Tenshi explained as they walked. "A pokemon called Arceus created it, and from there, he created Palkia and Dialga, who in turn managed space and time, and then there was Giratina. No idea exactly what he did though, something about anti-matter. What does matter is that he had such a ruckus, Aceus went and locked him up in some sort of Distortion World. At least that's what my mom told me." Tenshi continued as they walked along.
"What happened then?" Koishi asked.
"Well, from what she told me, Arceus then created the three pokemon Uxie, Azelf, and Mespirit, who created knowledge, willpower, and emotions respectively. Lastly, he created Mew, who is said to be the ancestor of everyone, and then, he went to sleep, and let everything else form on their own." Tenshi finished.
"That sounds interesting. How'd your mom know all this?" Snow asked.
"Well, she said she met Uxie once before she settled down here. At least that's what she told me, though I don't know if I believe her." Tenshi said.

The masked man chuckled as the two grunts who fought him limped away in shame. His Horsea and Voltorb didn't look damaged at all.
"Gah- what the-"
"I would advise you to leave now."
The Rocket grunt retrieved his Pokemons back into his Pokeballs. Then, shooting a hatred-filled glare at the conniving masked man, he ran towards his comrades.
"Hey, you. How long is it going to take you to win against a single grunt?"
The masked man chuckled as the two grunts who fought him limped away in shame. His Horsea and Voltorb didn't look damaged at all.
"Gah- what the-"
"I would advise you to leave now."

Lyrica watched the grunt run away. She let out a deep sigh of relief and collapsed to her knees, hugging Diggy and Mystia. Then she looked over to the masked man. "...That's two saves I owe you. Thank you."

"Yeah, good job holding off." The masked man smiled, tipped his raven mask, and walked away into the setting sun.
"Who... are you?" A witness asked.
"You may call me Phantom."
And Phantom disappeared into a flurry of cards. One of the cards landed on Lyrica's lap: 10 of Hearts.
Diggy grew to Lv: 7!
Mystia grew to LV: 5!
Mystia learned Sand Attack!

"You're wondering what this might be?" Lyrica chuckled to herself. "Well...might be important later..." She put the card in her pouch next to the Pokedex. Then Mystia fluttered down and landed on Diggy, who was starting to fall asleep. Lyrica looked in the direction that the man had left in. "...Phantom...I have a feeling I'll be seeing you again...sooner than later." As she stood there thinking about the mysterious man, a sudden realization made her jump and she turned to the girl she was helping. "Ah- right! You ok now that those bullies are gone?"
