      "I'm fine out here, honestly. But if you really want me to, i'll come with you." Koishi said. Wiggly was still sleeping soundly in Koishi's lap, unmoving, while Snow rubbed her eyes to see clearer.


      Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

      You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

          Phantom wasn't the best with names, but he looked at the Bagon and thought for a moment. "I shall name him Stryke." He said quite bluntly after some thought.

          He thought the name Stryke suited the small dragon Pokemon. Phantom could feel a sort of attachment to the young Pokemon already.

            "Well.." Koishi slowly got up, cradling the little Omanyte in her hands as it slept on.

            "Mine's Koishi." Koishi said.

            "And mine's Snow." came the drowsy voice of the Snorunt perched on Koishi's hat.


            Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

            You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

              "Professor, a distress call from Striaton City." A scientist called the Professor over. "Apparently, there's a group of trainers harassing the residents."

              "I will go immediately." Professor Juniper nodded, fixing her lab coat. "Will you come too?"

              "Nice to meet you." Roark said. "Sorry about my foster sister, she's cold to everyone."

              "Now, if you'll sup with us?" Roark began walking, motioning Koishi to join him.

                Koishi silently followed behind Roark, simply wondering why this man was acting so kind for no reason. In fact, it seemed a lot of people were like that. It made her wish Gensokyo was like that.

                  Roark's house was a small cottage next to the gym. The cottage was humble yet not decrepit, simple yet not destitute. The roof was a gable roof made with small tiles of wood woven together. The wood wall was stained with years of service, while the door looked brand new. The sullen girl was waiting for her brother by the doorsteps. When she noticed Koishi, she harumphed and looked away as Roark opened the door.

                  "Welcome to our humble abode." Roark smiled apologetically as he let the girl in. "Sorry about Emily's attitude: ever since her parents passed away and was sent to live here, she's been very reclusive."

                    "Yea I learned how to catch Pokemon alright. The thrill of a battle is always exciting, and anticipation to see whether or not your catch was successful is quite heart pounding." Chung replied to Norman as he remembers one thing. "OH CRAP I STILL NEED TO GET A BAG!" He said as smacks his forehead with his hand.

                        "Th... Thank you, sir!" Dylan thanked Norman as she left the gym as well.

                        "You must've had a rough life to be used to Emily." Roark laughed. "Let's see... How to make a miso soup-"

                        CRASH-

                        "What the-" Roark looked out the window as Emily descended the staircase to the attic, her eyes wide in alert. At the gate of the Gym stood three burly bike gang members, spitting on ground and shouting, "Where are you!"

                        "Oh no..." Roark grimaced as he grabbed his Pokeballs. "I'll be right back. Emily, keep Koishi safe."

                        "Alright." Emily nodded, her voice creamy and regal.

"They're a mixed group of bikers, punk rockers, and other underground groups that hail from almost every region, bent on destroying world's peace. I heard their leader is from a totally different world."

                            "Roark of Oreburgh Gym?" The middle biker asked.

                            "That is I." Roark nodded.

                            "We've come to take your badge!" The left biker yelled.

                            "Well then you'll have to beat me!"
