"I'm in the Goldenrod Griffins basketball team." Crystal said. "The coach calls me the best center they have had in 30 years."

    "I draw." Leaf simply said.

"How about we train all you you guys up out here, give you each a little challenge." Koishi suggested. "You'll all get stronger, and get some exercise."

      "That sounds nice." Snow said.

"Yeah, i'll get a chance to show my superiority to all the others." Kogasa had his claws at his sides, making a sort of heroic looking pose, making Koishi chuckle.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

With the battle under their belts, Sherry took Claire onto her shoulder again and moved off to follow Yuuka. She wondered if the trainers would follow her advice, as they had a lot of potential. Building support was much better than gathering rivals.

( Sorry, I have no Internet here at home. Slow responses for four days. )

The old cottage by the sea was just that: old. Thatched wooden ceiling and bamboo wall, without any decoration, was everything the house had to offer. By the wooden port, a small white motor boat quietly floated over the water.

"There it is." Yuuka pointed out. "Looks like this captain isn't a hoax after all."

"Newspapers!" A newspaper boy quickly ran around with his Pelipper, throwing out newspapers for trainers. Likewise, he threw a newspaper, which struck the ground in front of Aegis, sending him scurrying for cover.

John was petting Aegis, when suddenly a boy stated throwing newspapers at anyone in the area, including Aegis and John. As Aegis scurried for cover, John looked over to him and spoke.

"It's okay, it's just a newspaper.", John calmly said to Aegis.

John then looked back to the newspaper, reached down, and grabbed it off of the floor to read it.

The newspaper, named The Daily Sinnoh, was rolled into a nice scroll of black-and-white texts and images. The headline of the newspaper said "Alien Creature Storming the League", with a vague picture of John's nemesis, Ur Didact, triumphant over a buff man wearing a blue mask and a matching wrestling suit, the Fen Badge shining in his giant palm.

John's eyes widened with shock at the sudden revelation. How did The Didact come to this world? John killed him, didn't he? That's when John realized that when The Didact was blown up with the Pulse Grenade and fell into the Slipspace Rupture, he must have fallen into a Slipspace anomaly. The anomaly would have sent him to this planet. So many things went through John's mind. The Didact was a Forerunner that tried to enslave Humanity. Why would he be going through the League? Was The Didact planning something? John didn't know, but he was going to find out. The Didact was responsible for the deaths of every single human in New Phoenix, nearly killed John, and was the reason John couldn't save Cortana in time.

As John thought about that fateful day aboard The Didact's ship, John's face contorted into one of anger under his helmet. John may have failed to kill The Didact before, but this time he would not fail again. John folded up the newspaper and tucked it away into one of his storage compartments. Once that was done, John looked over to Aegis and spoke.

"Let's go back to town. I need to tell Renamon about this.", John said to Aegis.

John didn't know whether or not Renamon would follow John to The League, but if she didn't then John was fine with stopping The Didact by himself. John had a feeling that he wouldn't be able to kill him, but at least he could strip him of his equipment ato ensure that he will no longer be a threat to anyone ever again.

Sherry looked down at the dock and wiped her forehead. So it was true that the man she sought had some nautical experience, and perhaps the whole 'Captain' thing wasn't just a clever nickname. She had been taught that titles meant a lot to people in the real world, but when she looked around, she saw nicknames that had no substance attached to them. It wasn't a bad thing, sure, but when she wanted to look for a doctor and found a lanky man running around with a light-up pen, she decided it was best to remain skeptical until proven otherwise. She smiled and looked to her Taillow.

The little bird was watching the Wingull that were circling over the beach with a keen eye. She didn't look like she wanted to fight them just yet, so she was simply observing. If she wanted to go out and fight again, Sherry wouldn't stop her, but she would like to see how the strange white birds fought. But that was irrelevant to the task at hand. Sherry scratched Claire's feathers before turning to the old cottage. She knocked on the door and said:

"Mr. Briney? We're here about your Wingull?"

Captain Briney stood up. He was an old man with bald head and a bushy, white facial hairs. He wore a simple fisherman's jacket, olive long-sleeve shirt, and a brown trouser with the bottoms rolled up. His face expressed his worry, even more accentuated with his distraught eyes, slump shoulders, and hunched back. The Wingull landed on the man's shoulder.

"Yes. This is about my Peeko." Captain Briney nodded, first looking at Sherry, then glancing at Yuuka. "Peeko and I, we used to travel the world with our trusted Franchesca, good boat she is. But the circumstances led me to retire, and now we live in this old cottage, fishing and living the time of our lives, just Peeko, Franchesca, and I..."

Then Captain Briney suddenly shouted, "But those meddlesome youngsters, calling themselves Team Anarchy... Stole off with Franchesca's flag! I was crestfallen, and still am, but Peeko was even worse off... She was attached to that flag, ya know..."

"I heard that those goons have their hideout in Rustboro City. If you find the flag back for us, we'll be in your debt, and we will reward you with whatever we cam do for you!"

Sherry, at first, didn't know what to make of the situation. She had thought that they would be tracking down a Wingull, but lo and behold, there rested said pokemon on Briney's shoulder. Peeko, as she was called, had something wrong with her at first glance, and it didn't take an expert to notice that. Claire ruffled her feathers and chirped her version of small condolences before twisting her head to look about the room. Everything seemed so... Not as it was suspected to be.

The agent was tempted to interrupt, but she held her tongue for the elder's sake. Claire Redfield never really taught her to respect her elders (particularly because she thought the majority of them were full of shit), but Sherry learned on her own. If the old man had something important to say, he would say it. So, his flag was stolen, and while that meant nothing to the agent, it meant something to him. What did mean something to Sherry were the men who did the job, and why they did it.

Team Anarchy strikes again, but what does taking a flag down from an old man's ship accomplish? It was so tame compared to stealing important data from Devon Corp., and even then, the thug who carried out the job injured an innocent person in the process. Sherry exhaled and looked off to the side in thought. It made no sense, but perhaps going back to Rustboro would answer a few of her questions. She turned back to the Cap'n.

"We can get your flag back. What did it look like? Size, color, shape, anything that can help us out. Also, why would they take it?"

"If you do, then I'll be able to grant something for you too." Captain Briney answered.

"But why would this... Team Anarchy... be stealing an old man's flag?" Yuuka asked, thinking what Sherry was thinking. "Their name sounds so silly. Team Anarchy? Really?"

"Silly name or not, they're prevalent in almost all regions known in this world." Captain Briney sighed as he fed Peeko with a handful of Pokeblocks. "They wreak havoc across everywhere, and they can't seem to be weeded out easily."

"So them taking the flag is just their act of... vandalism?" Yuuka hypothesized, to which Captain Briney nodded.

"My flag is a large orange cloth with a central crest that has a picture of my darling Peeko drawn on it. I hope I can get it back soon... otherwise, my spirit will not allow me to sail anymore."

Sherry offered a soft smile and nodded.

"Don't worry, we'll get that flag back."

The agent turned back to Yuuka as her expression hardened with determination. Claire fluttered and chirped as she reorientated herself on the agent's shoulder.

"I've run into this Team Anarchy before, or at least one crook who said he was with them. Little concern for anyone, it seems. Our pokemon may be in for a fight, or we could be as well." Sherry glanced at the door out of the building, already itching to go out and take care of the mission. "I hope you can defend yourself. Who knows what we'll find in Rustboro if there's a hideout there."

Yuuka cracked a smile. She was probably weaker than a normal human right now, due to her loss of strength. But she couldn't make Sherry worry, so she lied. "I'll manage myself."

Sherry did not detect that Yuuka was lying, so she left the issue alone. She had the utmost confidence in her own abilities as an agent, figuring that her agility and small stature could get her out of bad situations while her kicks could give her some breathing room. Getting into fights with living, breathing human beings didn't sit right with her after going toe-to-toe with C-Virus infectees, but she was prepared to do what she could if push came to shove. Besides, she didn't want to pick any fights here in the first place. It seemed to be such a peaceful world, this world of Pokemon. There wasn't even a gun to be found, and Sherry had looked high and low for one.

With another sympathetic look towards the old sailor, Sherry and Claire exited the building and took down the path to Petalburg woods with Yuuka. As she walked, she couldn't help but feel her curiosity rise. So, she acted upon it.

"Where are you from, Yuuka?" she asked. "What do you do?"

Would Yuuka tell Sherry the truth? Hell no, her being a Youkai is going to antagonize everyone.

"I'm a flower shop owner from Japan." Yuuka stacked the cards; told the truth but only half the truth. Kappa on her shoulder fidgeted as Claire the Taillow pecked at his lotus leaf hat.
