          After that, Ethan pressed the speaker button on the phone and held it in his hand.

            "Hey, Alex, I'm almost there." Nitro said to the person on the phone.

            "How long do you think it'll take you?" The voice over the phone was, surprisingly for the name, a girl. Her voice was rich and melancholic, contrasting Nitro's clear, cheerful voice.

            "Give me... oh I don't know, ten minutes." Nitro said to Alex.

            "Okay. I guess I can wait 10. Hurry up, the line is starting to pile up."

            "Thank, Alex. See you!" Nitro hung up the phone.

              After the phone was hung up, Ethan thought about the girl that had been on. From what he could tell, the girl was somewhat melancholic, perhaps naturally being that way, or otherwise. Ethan was a little curious about the person on the phone, so he decided to ask Nitro about her.

              "Who was that?", Ethan asked Nitro in a slightly curious tone.

                "Alex. She's my friend." Nitro answered briefly before taking an exit out of the highway and stopping before a red light, turning on a left turn signal. "Easily one of the chillest girls to hang out with."

                  "Hm, I see.", Ethan said to Nitro, not really knowing what more to say.

                  Ethan didn't really want to pry too deeply into Nitro's life, at least not until it was appropriate. As for Alex, Ethan knew that if he wanted to know more about her, he could easily get more information from Alex herself. With that in mind, Ethan felt that he had nothing to talk about. Of course, he didn't want to appear uninterested or unenthusiastic about going to the club, so he decided to break his brief silence with another question.

                  "So, what's this nightclub like?", Ethan asked Nitro.

                    "It's 18+, so you won't find any obnoxious teenagers walking around pretending to be 21." Nitro began. The car turned the corner, revealing the downtown San Francisco in sunset. "I don't know how the atmosphere is going to be like, since it's a new club and all, but if DJ Sinker is the opening DJ for the club, it's bound to be something amazing."

                      Ethan simply nodded at Nitro after she answered his question and turned his head back towards what was in front of them.

                      "Yea, should be interesting. What genre of music does DJ Sinker usually use?", Ethan asked Nitro.

                        "Everything. She's not bound by a single genre, so the club mysic doesn't get repetitive." Nitro saud as she expertly parked the car by the sidewalk. "See that building with people waiting over there? That's Nexxus."

                        Nitro pointed towards her left at a line of people dressed up and ready to go. The line led into a building with a large aqua blue neon sign, with a door guarded by a large black man crossing his arms. The line wasn't too long, but Nitro and Ethan would have to hurry before the lines grows uncontrollably.

                        "7:27. Come on, let's meet up with Alex. She should be holding the line for us right now."

                          "Got it.", Ethan said as he got out of the car and followed Nitro towards the club.

                          As they neared the club, Ethan didn't know what to expect. To be honest, he had never actually gone to one of these clubs. Ethan hated to admit it, but whenever he thought abotu a club, all he could think of were the kinds seen in movies and the like. Of course, he wouldn't tell anyone this and risk being embarrassed. Besides, he would soon find out what a club was like anyway.

                            "Nitro, over here!"

                            The same rich, melancholic voice called from the line. It was Alex, Nitro's friend. She was just as tall as, if not taller, than Ethan. She had blazing red hair that flowed like a waterfall down her back, and yellow, almost golden, pupil. She was dressed similarly to Nitro, with long-sleeved dress shirt, boot-cut jeans, and red converse heels.



                            "Thanks for holding the line for me, buddy." Nitro eased into where Alex was standing.

                            "No problem. Who's the guy?" Alex asked, her eyes fixated on Ethan.

                            "Ethan. He's gonna be my employee." Nitro introduced Ethan. "Ethan, say hi to Alex."

                              Ethan quickly scanned Alex with his gaze, observing the unique details of Nitro's friend. What stood out most was not her blazing red hair, but her yellow-gold eyes. It was such an unusual, unique eye color, but then again, similar things could be said about Nitro and her hair color. Now that Ethan thought about it, he never even really thought about Nitro's appearance until now. To be honest, he couldn't tell whether or not they naturally had such strange, unique features, or if they had contacts and hair dye. Ethan was slightly tempted to give into curiosity and ask them about their appearance, but he decided not to, at least not until he knew more about them. Just then, Ethan's train of thought was cut short when Nitro introduced him and asked him to greet Alex. Ethan didn't really know what else to say, other than one word.

                              "Hi.", Ethan said, slightly raising his hand and giving a weak wave before letting his arm sink back to his side.

                                Outside San Francisco Base


                                Johnathan stepped outside and walked towards a cab.

                                "You will act as a sleeper agent alongside me. There is a spy working with the Corrupt. Two men will block the exits once the operation commences. You and I will-... No. Inside the cab. We cannot risk anyone spying on us."

                                He opened the cab door.

                                "Ladies first," he gestured. He has a sense of chivalry, but not exactly an expression to follow. He always has that serious look. May need to work on that if he wants to act as an agent.
