En Route to Viva La Fiesta

"Unfortunately, the only one who knows what our targets look like is our spy. If he told us, too many eyes would be on our targets, too much suspicion, next thing you know our spy is found out and will be ineffective in further operations or worst, he could be captured and transformed. We wait until the sign is given."

He looked out the window, making the light of sun that remained reflect off of his glasses. He reseted his hand over his mouth. "We lose too many people to these hypocrites... Too many..."

Sara closed her eyes and pondered her words "Sometimes we lose something, but we also gain something else" she spoke thinking of the corrupt shooter who chose to don´t fire. She was happy that there were people who still have the chance to decide theeir own fate

"It is an equivalent exchange, a balance that is needed so the world can keep moving forward" Lynchwood continued opening her eyes wwith hope

Have you ever crossed the line between sanity and madness? You would be amazed by what lies beyond the fog..

Ethan simply nodded at Nitro as she left before turning his attention over to Alex. To be honest, Ethan would have preferred something else, but he was perfectly fine with what he was given. After all, as Alex said, she didn't know what Ethan wanted. In fact, it was kind of her to bring him a drink. With that in mind, Ethan spoke to Alex.

"Thank you for the drink.", Ethan calmly said to Alex before taking a small sip of his drink and placing it back on the table.

"Don't mention it." Alex said simply as she observed the dancers. They were just starting to get into the groove, swaying from side to side. Slow, trance music was being played in the background, and the so-called DJ Sinker was not at the DJ table yet. "I usually know what people would like when I look at them in the eyes."

She pointed at a guy trying to ease himself into the dance floor. "That guy, he is totally forced to dance. He probably likes tea, especially Cassia tea."

She then redirected it to a woman trying to flirt with another man. "Her, she probably is a coffee person: you can tell that she's a businesswoman."

She finally glanced at a loud, boisterous group of young men and women two tables behind where Alex was sitting. "Them, they're here to have fun. I wouldn't be surprised if they all ordered beer or shots or something."

She then stared at Ethan, her golden eyes hypnotic and alluring. "But you... I can't tell what you'd like. It's like your eyes are clouded."

As Alex stared into Ethan's eyes, Ethan began to feel slightly nervous, although he tried not to show it. Of course, if Alex payed attention, she would be able to tell that there was something more to Ethan. Ethan had a feeling that when Alex said "clouded", she meant that they looked dead. He was actually a little afraid that she would be able to figure out that something bad happened to him, and after that, the questions would flow forth, and Ethan would be forced to answer them. He couldn't tell her or Nitro about his past. He couldn't tell them how his entire family died and that he was the sole survivor of a brutal massacre. What would they think of him? They would possibly become uncomfortable with him, maybe try to distance themselves from him. After all, nobody really wanted to be around a "downer". Ethan knew that if he tried to change the topic, then Alex would surely know that there was something up with him, and it would be certain that she would pick up on it. If he wanted to ease himself out of this situation, he would have to pay it cool, try and act as if he was curious about her observation, try and make himself as unassuming as he could. He didn't know if he could pull it off, but he would try.

"Hmm. That's strange. Is it something that happens often?, Ethan asked Alex in a calm tone, hiding his apprehension as best he could.

"No, it hasn't happened ever since I met Nitro." Alex confessed. "I had to ask her physically what she liked and things."

"You're probably a really complex man." She stopped staring and took a sip from her velvet alcohol. "I won't ask more, for it is rude."

She then stared at the dancers. The music started to pick up. DJ Sinker was still not here, so the pre-determined playlist was playing.

"Do you dance?" Alex asked Ethan as she glanced.

Ethan's tension quickly dissipated after Alex told him that she would not ask about him. Sure, he probably wasn't doing the greatest job at trying to socialize with Alex, but as long as the attention was drawn off of his.. history, he would be fine with speaking. Just then, Ethan heard a question that caught him off guard, one that he probably should have expected, yet still neglected. ODespite Ethan's initial surprise, he was still able to give an answer to Alex.

"Uh... no. It would be a crime against humanity if I danced.", Ethan said to Alex in a calm, yet slightly sheepish tone.

Alex laughed when she heard Ethan's answer. "Ahaha, that's funny."

At that moment, DJ Sinker appeared onto the DJ table, and the crowd went nuts. DJ Sinker was a young asian woman probably in her early 20s, wearing a smoky makeup and donning a white-and-green sailor outfit. She put on a gray headset with an anchor drawn on both sides, tested the turntable, and began the music. The dancers began feeling the beat: it was a house music with a bit of Indian feel to it.

"Well I'll let you know: I dance." Alex chuckled shyly. "Do you... want to see?"

Ethan was a little surprised about Alex's question, but perhaps he could learn a thing or two from watching her. In fact, when Ethan thought about it, perhaps he could learn to dance by watching everyone else in the club as well. After Alex would dance, Ethan would pay attention to the other dancers and learn by sight. At the very least, he would pick up a few moves.

"Sure.", Ethan calmly said to Alex.

Alex smiled and rose from her table. She wobbled over to the dance floor, winked at Ethan, and began dancing.

The dance was indescribable. Her every movement: her hands, her feet, her long blazing red hair flying like flame, it was heavenly. The dance lasted for a minute, but it felt like forever to those that watched her.

And she danced, just for him.

"I tripped and I messed up." Alex, after finishing her dance, made a petty excuse as she sat down. Several people who watched her dance couldn't stop staring at her.
