Nitro's Shop - Mission District - San Francisco

As Nitro read Ethan's resume, Ethan shifted his gaze to some of the machines in the shop. From what Ethan could see, it was a relatively normal shop. There was what you would usually find in an electronics store; televisions, kitchen appliances, computers, a chainsaw hanging on one of the walls with a couple of tools. The store had a little bit of everything, and if Ethan didn't know ahead of time from reading about the store, he wouldn't have guessed that this was a repair store. Just then, Ethan's attention was caught by Nitro's question, prompting Ethan to shift his gaze back over to her.

"Yes. I made a robot that was able to search for and identify particular items, then retrieve them and bring it back to a person. I've made a couple machines that were able to wirelessly interface with various electronics, and a robot that could navigate through an obstacle course that was subject to constant changes. There was also another robot that I made.. well, it wasn't really a robot. It was a drive system for an exo-suit.", Ethan said, giving Nitro a quick summary of some of the machines he had made in the past.

"Impressive." Nitro nodded, half-doubtful but otherwise intrigued. She tossed the manilla folder along with a bunch of other paperworks on a dining table and said: "I guess you're hired... you seem to have a lot more experience than others who applied for the job. We'll do a three-week internship to see what you can do, and then we'll discuss whether you're properly hired or not."

"Okay.", Ethan said with a slight nod, accepting Nitro's terms.

Ethan might not have shown it, but he was happy that he was accepted. That meant that Ethan could move on to the next phase of his plan; giving his phone the ability to hack into electronic devices. Thanks to Ethan's past experience with making machines capable of wirelessly interfacing with other electronics, he had the know-how to do so. It was all just a simple matter of altering the hardware of his phone and installing the hacking program onto it. He had already gathered the hardware, and when the phone was done, it would be capable of performing as effectively as a 4 year old desktop computer. As for the hacking program, Ethan felt that he spent those months in the hospital wisely. Setting up the programming for the phone in the hospital were months well spent. After that, he would just need to install the program onto the phone, then go to his college for the next phase of his plan.

"So, is that everything?", Ethan asked Nitro shortly after accepting her terms.

"Yeah I think that's about it." Nitro said as she looked at the clock. It said 5:40. "I was going to close the shop early and go to this new club..."

Then an idea sparked through Nitro's head. "Hey... actually... I do have the first job for you."

"Yes? What's the first job?", Ethan asked Nitro, ready for the task she would entrust him with.

Perhaps she wanted him to clean up some of the tools, maybe rearrange something, what you would expect in a shop. Whatever it was, Ethan was ready to finish the task.

"Okay, so there's this new 18+ club by San Francisco downtown called Nexxus that opens at 7:30 today. And they're going to have my favorite DJ there only for today so I want to go." Nitro explained. "So I want you to escort me to the club and spend some time with me there. We don't have to dance if you're not comfortable, of course."

After Nitro spoke, Ethan had a look of confusion on his face. To be honest, he was a little surprised by the request. He was actually expecting a work-related task, not a task like this. Ethan was not really opposed to the request, but he was still caught off guard.

"Oh... Why do you want me to go?", Ethan finally asked Nitro in a curious and confused tone.

After the helicopter landed, Sara walked directly to the barracks to check on her weapons, it looked as if she was a civilian with the clothing she had, but most soldiers were used to the hunting fox as it was for movement and camouflage in social areas. While on her walk, the weapon specialist took out her rifle and started checking its state, she was walking and working on her weapon at the same time

Her part of the barracks looked more like an armory because of the many pieces of weaponry scattered on the shelves and table, it had from small things like pistols and sub machine guns to big stuff like sniper rifles, yet they had pieces missing to be unusable in case of someone trying to steal the weapon. Only the blonde knew where the correct pieces lied.

Sitting on her usual bench, Lynchwood opened the rifle´s bolt tube and cleaned it, her face was calm and focused on the repair works "One of the shots went a little off, got to check on that" she said to herself while examining the weapon
Have you ever crossed the line between sanity and madness? You would be amazed by what lies beyond the fog..

"Because if I go alone, the guys will think I'm single and try to flirt with me." Nitro rolled her eyes and answered. Her gestures indicated that those kind of events has happened before. "It's really mostly for my own convenience sake, but if you think about it, you're going to be my employee, so we need to start getting to know each other. Don't you agree?"

Ethan couldn't really argue with Nitro. Either way Ethan looked at it, it was beneficial to go to the club, and the sooner Ethan got to know his employer, the better off he would be.

"I suppose it could help. How far is it?, Ethan asked Nitro.

Nitri quickly pulled up her smartphone, tapped a few times on the screen, and answered: "If the traffic is ok, 15. But if it's bad, like it is right now... then expect to take about half an hour.

Ethan didn't really mind the traffic. After all, it wasn't like he had somewhere to be, but before he could leave, he needed a place to leave his backpack. Sure, he could carry it with him, but the last thing he wanted was for it to be a burden to him, or even stolen.

"Okay. Is it alright if I leave my backpack here?", Ethan asked Nitro.

"Yeah you can just drop it off by the couch." Nitro pointed at the couch she was sleeping in: a beige cotton sofa that just looked so comfortable and irresistable to sit on... maybe lie down and take a nap. Nitro was about to unbutton her dress shirt until she realized that Ethan was still around. "I'll be right back, I want to make sure I'm dressed properly. Stay right here, okay?"

As Nitro left the room, Ethan looked at the couch and lightly tilted his head. To be honest, the couch looked inviting, despite the fact that Ethan felt like standing and waiting for Nitro.

(It couldn't hurt.), Ethan thought to himself as he walked over to the couch.

After placing his backpack by the couch, Ethan sat on the couch and relaxed as he waited for Nitro, but as the minutes passed, Ethan began to doze off.

Checking on her rifle, Sara took her time to sharpen it´s state until she was ok for it to be of use again. Her expertise in weaponry was really to be admired, being able to use almost any kind of fire arm and white weapon has saved her from many deaths, yet the usual equipment she used were weapons from almost the first world war. Some people have asked her why using "outdated" weapons when they could use all these new fire arms with digital aiming, thermal and night vision and so on with another upgrade. To their failure and laugh for some higher up soldiers, the blonde literally fried their weapons while they were training.

She asked for a blackout training session with her and some of her trusted squad against other good soldiers, yet she added a twist to the training. An EMP blast from the sky making anything electronic to fail or get fried up. During the confusion, the hunting fox got into her best scenery, just using survival skills and human senses, the soldiers were trained to cases like this, but had to leave the better weapons for "simpler" stuff. The victory for the specialist was almost an overkill.

"Always be prepared for any scenario, use the weakness as a forte, never use the same path" Lynchwod said to herself while working on the rifle.
