Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.
You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

I was considering this...actually this very concept. The reason I didn't mention it was because I considered the "for the worse" scenario that could happen with this...Though that's more my PSO2 Forum senses of detecting how a flame war would start.
Though if we do consider this, I would say 3. Of course Odd number for obvious reason.
Should we start a thread to start the democratic process?

Alright, just so that I'm clear with things, what's the big stance on the second season? What are you hoping to accomplish with it, and how does it differ from the first season?

Well I personally was considering having the Organizations take center stage and the story follows the conflict between them and the determination of who is truly the good and evil ones of the three organizations (SCAE, ORGANIZATION, and ACO) and how the characters decide what to do about each one.
From there, the rest would be additional side arcs that supplement this "Backbone"/ Mainstream
