Wonder has a point about them being too important in the plot, but Zommari is a little too OP. (ripping arms off and nearly killing everyone without a chance to dodge or block can be troublesome.)

I've had the same problem in a RP a long time ago. The villain just would not die by anything. You could dismember him completely, but oh no he would still survive as a black goo and possess someone else while that person he possessed turns into his old body. You could even SEND HIM INTO AN ALTERNATE DIMENSION WITH NO. FREAKING. ESCAPE. Oh what's that? "I just became powerful enough because time goes slower in this dimension so I trained myself to make a portal out."

You could do anything and I mean anything to try and kill him, but the guy just found a way to bring him back. Even after he said that he will "die for good if you use this weapon against him." Then the guy had the villain BREAK THE FREAKING WEAPON SO IT CAN'T BE USED. Thing is he was also so powerful that he could break a man's body just by breathing on him (not literally, but you get the point. He was powerful.) Also when someone tried to make their character stronger in order to counteract the villain that guy was banned from the RP for "being too overpowered." While the villain went free.

The guy was there from page 20, and until page 300 or so (which is when the RP died.) How did he become so powerful? The actual GM left while another guy took his place. The villain was owned by a completely different person than the second GM. The RP died after some random guy not a part of the RP pointed out to everyone that the villain was OP (I tried to explain it to everyone, but they didn't listen because I wasn't a staff member.)

Sounds like a character I have in my story.
Though he's more my emergency god killer.
His backstory is that he's a doppelganger that can take on a person's form and powers...and then keep them as he does choose.
He eventually gathered so many powers he was able to survive the death and rebirth of the universe. twice. maybe more. I don't know. And he killed all the "self proclaimed gods".
And then he dies in battle against a swarm of killer parasites that just don't like to die.
Ironic isn't it?

There's only so much that should be allowed before people start to leave.

Did they try a atomic bond splitter? What kind of RP was it? Did they at least try to enforce the rules on him?

Yea. But in battle, I'll dial him down. It's just like in movies or anime. Someone who had the ability to tear your head off is getting his ass handed to him (somewhat) in battle. I won't overly God mod him. As a matter of fact, he only serves one purpose... As a vessel... *taps fingers rapidly and maliciously*

It was a modern day setting with fantasy creatures. Even with an atomic bond splitter the guy would have found a way to resurrect. Also once the random guy interrupted the RP and complained that the villain was OP people tried to enforce the rules, but "it has been established that he is powerful" The RP died shortly after. Also the random guy wasn't so random... in fact the guy was someone we all know here...

He is none other than SUSTIC. I asked him a favor to complain about the villain being OP and all, and shortly after he got into RPing. Also I didn't leave the RP because people there were my friends and they didn't want me to leave.
