I looked it up on a .gov site and saw that yes, it can be caused by high blood pressure, but it can also be caused by dry and irritated membranes in the nose.
I wonder if anyone has had a nosebleed like from the animes. That would scare the hell out of somebody! XD

Isaac looked at Koishi's third eye and felt remorseful for what he had caused. A look of tension could be seen on his face as he thought about what he could have done differently to prevent this.

Despite HM's warning, John continued to try and reason with him. He knew that HM was in a slightly weakened state. John just had to subdue him and try and find a way to prove to him that Gerard was alive.
"HM, what is it going to take for you to finally understand? I gave you video evidence that what I'm saying is true. Right now, you are being unreasonable, irrational. Your perception is being warped by Sebastian. Just come with me and we can take you to someone that can help you.", John said to HM as he approached, ready to dodge an attack if HM lashed out.
