Well one thing I like to do is put breaks and pauses in dialogue. Sometimes a brief pause that emphasizes a word does wonders.

I also need to work on tones and emotions. Do you think I put the tones in my posts too often?
Nobody else does it as much as I do. It's to convey the feeling behind the words, but maybe I'm doing it too often? Maybe I'm too stale with it, only using basic emotions...

If ya wanted to mix it up I would say, even though we don't do it consciously, body language speaks tone well.
Otherwise I would say just keep going with it, it works fine. I don't see too much of a problem with it.
...and now that you mention it I'm noticing how much you use it now but seriously, I think its fine...but ya you could mix it up with gestures instead. (even the slightest shift could speak something...or that's how I always think it.)
