Seeing that another person he cared about was gone, John closed his eyes and took a deep breath. So far, the only people that were left were Renamon, Nera, X, and Axl. It had gotten to the point that John just barely felt anything anymore. It had gotten so bad within a couple hours that he had become numb to the pain.
"Daiyousei, we'll get him back, even if I have to kill every last demon in Hell.", John calmly said to Daiyousei as he stood back up.
"We'll find him. He's not dead yet.", John said in a tone of sincerity to Daiyousei as he held out his hand to help her up.

"Then that simply means that we'll have time to prepare.", John calmly said to Daiyousei as he turned his head over to Gerard.
"We're coming.", John said to Gerard as he made the Darkness platform float down in front of Gerard and dissipate, causing both John and Daiyousei to land safely on the ground.
"I'm going to find HM. I promise.", John said to Gerard.
"Then that simply means that we'll have time to prepare.", John calmly said to Daiyousei as he turned his head over to Gerard.

Koishi was quiet for a while, and wasn't shaking, and neither was her third eye, though it was covered under the blanket and wasn't visible. Then, Koishi's eyes opened, and she looked over to Isaac.
"Everything looks different." Koishi weakly said to Isaac. "And everything's loud."

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.
You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

Isaac was struggling, trying to keep awake, but as soon as he saw Koishi move and talk, all of his drowsiness disappeared.
(Thank god she's okay. I knew she was going to be alright, but still... I'd better go see if she's alright, and grab my RIG.), Isaac thought as he stood up out of the chair and walked over to the cot.
"Koishi? How are you feeling?", Isaac quietly whispered, being mindful that Koishi was sensitive to sound.

John weakly smiled at Gerard's words. They made him feel a little better, especially after all the deaths he witnessed. John followed suit, not really bothering to put the super Biofoam into his Biofoam compartment. He was too exhausted to do so. He just wanted to go rest.
