"Please keep your silence." Shinki ordered with an angered smile. "Now, this is what I was going to tell you."
"You all went out of your ways to help Gensokyo restore the barrier. Not only that, when the Neo-Yakuza abducted some of the residents of Gensokyo, it was you guys who rescued them."
"So I wanted to do something... but I couldn't come up with anything... until Yukari showed me these."
What Shinki pulled from her pocket were a group of plane tickets to Hawaii.
"Yukari apparently hooked up with a travel agency and got these tickets." Shinki said as she slid the envelope of tickets to John.

John felt slightly bad about breaking the news to Hank. John had a similar reaction, after all.
"I understand your distress. I'm a video game character too. I have seen a religious alien group try to commit genocide to the human race. I fought alongside courageous men and women, only to see them die by the hands of aliens that delighted in torturing their victims first. I've had to fight not only them, but a parasitic alien hive mind that forcefully hijacks their host's body by burrowing underneath their skin, while the host can do nothing but scream. I even had to fight against an ancient, super advanced alien called the Didact. I have saved the human race multiple times, and have sacrificed virtually everything to do so, only to find out that it was all for nothing. Just know that you are not alone.", John calmly said.
John then received the tickets.
"So a vacation?"

"I've fought off an army of super powered soldiers, an omnipotent clown, Jesus Christ, a god, oh, and I cant forget the sun, and the fact that I was almost killed once by a giant marshmallow falling from the goddamn sky." Hank retorted. "All of that over a piece of cake."

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.
You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

You can take a vacation at almost anytime you want." Said X as Axl rubs the back of his head. "Yea... well I still want to go. Besides I remember Alia sending me an email telling me that she has got a job in Hawaii." Said Axl as X's eyes widened again. "Alia's in Hawaii?" He said as he walks out of the Dining hall. If he was human his face would be red.
