After the man spoke, Jason took a couple of quick deep breaths and fully recovered.
It was normal for Jason to push himself hard, so recovering became something he was used to and actually found ways to recover faster. Him constantly pushing himself was also another reason why he was so proficient with speed magic as well. It was almost as if he was in a high intensity, high return training camp.

Jason quickly stood up and held out a hand to greet the man named Otori.

"My name is Jason. It's a pleasure to meet you.", Jason said as he shook Otori's hand.

Once the handshake was done with, Jason then began to contemplate on whether or not he should ask for the man's assistance. Based on what Jason saw, the man was a wind mage, just like that woman that attacked. Wind magic was a pretty powerful type of magic, especially in the hands of someone creative. It would serve to be even more powerful if it was amplified by a speed mage. They were both looking for the same guy, so perhaps it would benefit both of them if they all worked together.

"Hey. Earlier you were trying to find.. HM, right? Well, if you must know, I'm looking for him as well. There's a good chance that he knows this one woman that keeps trying to hunt my friend and I down and we need HM to give us information. Seeing as how we share a common goal, it would only benefit both of us if we worked together. What do you say about teaming up?, Jason asked Otori.

He looked up to Jason.

"Sure, I'm coming with you. But I need to ask you. Ask you something that you need to talk about with your sadist friend there."

Rockhill District: Kalkun

Jason removed the red cloth from his face and tied it around his chestplate. Once it was in place, Jason felt as if it just belonged there, as if the cloth was meant to be there. Jason showed a visible smile as he examined the red cloth on his chestplate flowing in the wind.

"Sure, I'm coming with you. But I need to ask you. Ask you something that you need to talk about with your sadist friend there.", Otori said.

This snapped Jason's attention away from his cloth and straight to Otori.

"Hmm? What is it you wanted to ask?", Jason asked in a casual tone as he raised his eyebrows in curiosity.

"You can question him. You can beat him. You can do whatever. But the second you kill him, your head... It's mine. He used to be a friend of mine."

Rockhill District: Kalkun

"Sorry, but I already promised my head to that 'sadist friend' of mine when I die, so you'll have to fight her if you want to keep my head once you're finished killing me.", Jason jokingly said to Otori.

"Anyways, don't worry about it. I'm not planning on killing the guy, I just want some information. As for Seki, I'll tell her not to kill him either.", Jason then finished in his casual tone.

Jason looked out into the distance, towards the green trees of the Everbloom Forest, then back to Otori. It seemed as if the wheels in Jason's head were turning.

"Do you have a supply bag with you or anything like that? Why I'm asking is that I'm planning on traveling the fast way. I just have to ask one thing. Are you afraid of heights?"

Outskirts of Rockhill District

The huntress left the town in the sunrise time to keep wandering through the many cities of the virtual world. Eating a loaaf of bread, Kris was enjoying the fresh air of the nature. ("I have to be honest, this world is extremely realistic, even the wmell of trees and flowers to the odors of mud and swamps") she thought while walking

Kris then started her whistling while traveling through the forest

Otori stood p and smiled.

"One, my pack is gone, wasted it. Two, never experienced height. Neo Vegas is such a fla place."

I walked over to the bat that was left.

"Ah, still good. Thank heavens. Alright, I'm ready. You ready?"

Everbloom Forest/Rockhill District, Kalkun - 8:40

As Phenom leaped through the trees that littered the Everbloom Forest, he thought about how he would go about attacking any of Tyruss's men who were in the area. He rose quickly through the branches of a large oak, brushing aside smaller limbs and leaves as he ascended. He retracted his leg and fired it into the trunk of the tree, propelling him through the air. He altered his speed to allow him to sail through the air. From the air he could see that the fight was effectively over.

"Hold up." He said, stopping himself fully, seeming to float suspended in the air. "Let's think about this for a second. The place is burnt to fuck... The forest below me is burnt to fuck... What if the same person did this? Hard to tell..."

He assumed a sitting position and crossed his arms and legs in front of him.

"If I go down to that town right now, I may very well be walking into a trap. However there may be people down there who legitimately need help. And I suppose I'd have the opportunity to kill some of Tyruss's soldiers if it was a trap... Win-win, I suppose..."

Phenom heard rustling in the trees below him and looked down to see a small-looking girl leaping through the trees, but he paid her little mind.

"Alright, let's head on down to town then."

Phenom resumed his motion and approached Kalkun, landing in an overly-show-offy skid. He looked around and noticed a pair of people talking a ways away from him.

"HEY! YOU TWO! YEAH, YOU! CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED HERE?!" he called to them

Rockhill District, Kalkun - 8:40

"Well-"

"HEY! YOU TWO! YEAH, YOU! CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED HERE?!", a man in the distance called out to Jason and Otori.

Jason turned his head over to the man and paused for a moment.

(Who is this man? What does he want? He wants to know what happened here of course! But why does he want to know? How did he get here?... Is he a speed mage too?, Jason quickly thought in a matter of seconds.

He then cautiously walked over to the man, just in case the man was one of Tyruss's men.

"A couple of Tyruss's men attacked us, but they quickly ran away.... Who are you?", Jason asked.
