"Well then, I know you two will be great friends, many frienships start with argues and discussions, and you two have had quite a good bunch of them" Kris said finishing her food and kept on writing on the paper still humming the song

The huntress was thinking on her days in the outside world, such a good times that also could give her gray hair with the many kids being reckless in the forest. Seeing Jason and Seki reminded her of some of her friends, but she knew they were long gone as she remembered some scars on her belly and upper back

Kris kept humming the song as she kept writing

Somewhere between The beginning and end of Jason’s sentence, Seki’s expression had gone from normal to one that promised death. It seemed he had upset her by not going back for their things. Seki didn’t really care about the food which would have gotten old by now anyway. However she cared about the small bag of coins given to her by Kris back at the Inn. It wasn’t greed, rather they had sentamentle value to her. They were the first kind jester given to her in a very long time. Seki didn’t say anything for the longest time it seemed. She was just staring Jason down with a look that could kill. When she finally did speak all she had to say was “Training”.

"What?", Jason asked in a confused tone.

Jason didn't know what he could have said to upset Seki. He didn't insult her or anything. Little did Seki know that when Jason asked to help her with her things, she gave him her food pouch and her coins. Jason may have given Seki her food bag, due to her asking for it, but he forgot that he was also carrying her bag of coins. He still had them, but not even he remembered them.

"What do you mean training? I was planning on training later, but I was going to eat first. Why are you giving me that look?", Jason asked, trying to figure out why Seki was angry.

Kris noticed Seki´s face of anger, it wasn´t like a grudge or a simple anoyance, it was of deep emotional fury, so Kris tried to calm the girl down knowing it wouldn´t work "So seki, if you are going to train with Jason, please don´t murder him and no burning, ok?" she said and then looked at Jason

"I suggest you to prepare for a battle you will at most endure in 4-10 minutes" the huntress warned to the miner boy and looked at her pocket watch "Whatever you guys do, please don´t disturb the creatures of the cavern, ok?

“Oh I’m just excited about the new training regimen I’ve come up with. It’s guaranteed to give you as much experience as an adept worrier… If you survive…” The angry girl took her blade in hand in a very threatening manner before she turned inwards towards the ground. She jabbed the sword into the hard stone floor and it stuck there. Did Seki actually want to kill Jason? She released Chainsaw-Sama’s handle and got up from her seat carrying her fish along with her as she began to leave the area. “Enjoy your last meal Rooky.”

"What the f*ck!? Why's she pissed!? What did I do!?", Jason asked Kris as he raised his hands near his shoulders and shrugged as he tried to make sense of what just happened.

Jason wasn't necessarily afraid of Seki's death-threats, he was just very, very confused. The only thing he had to fear was her "Chainsaw-sama. He could easily handle the fire by slowing down the fire's molecules, but a chainsaw was different. Even if he stopped the chain, it would still cut him.

Kris's Outpost - 9:40 AM

Phenom had joined the others, now fully clothed and free of the gore that had covered him earlier. He had already began eating his share of fish when he heard Seki's order for Jason to train. He closed his eyes and shook his head as he chewed. It was clear she was going to put him through hell... literally. However, this was an excellent chance to learn Kris's own story.

"Hey, you two. If you're going to do some training, do it somewhere else, huh? We don't need this place burned down..."

Seeing as how he would most likely have to resolve this by fighting Seki, Jason cut up his fish with his knives and ate the pieces. After eating the fish, Jason washed his knives in a nearby pool of water and walked over to his armor. Jason put his knives away, sat down, and quickly began to destabilize the grime on the chestplate. The grime soon crumbled away, revealing the silvery shine of the metal underneath. Once Jason finished cleaning the armor, he then inspected it for scratches and damage. The armor may have been virtually indestructible to weapons in Aeterna, but it was still a habit for him to maintain the armor. After finding not even the tiniest scratch or blemish, Jason took off his utility harness, put the 100 pound chestplate on, and put the harness on top of that.

Jason finished tightening the harness and began to walk over to Seki's location. Jason was still confused by her anger, but he intended to find out.

After a long while, Jason entered Seki's vicinity.

"Okay, why are you mad? I want to know if I did something, or if you just are for no reason.", Jason said to Seki in a calm, but slightly impatient tone.

Phenom sighed in relief, glad to be rid of those two for a moment.

"It'd be a wonder if I could understand a thing that went through that kid's mind..." Phenom said to Kris, "Anyway, now that they're out there, why don't you tell me a bit about yourself? I figure if I'm going to be fighting with you guys, I may as well know your stories. Oh, and your name. I don't think I ever caught it. Mine's Phenom, if I didn't mention it already. Phenom Ortus."

Kris's Outpost

The huntress heard the little introdiction of the rebel "My name is Kris, no last name since I have memory, been living by my own in Aetherna as a huntress in the wilderness and searching for glitches and errors in the land, I lost most, if not all the people I knew when the popularity of this virtual world started, they enjoyed it too much by becoming thieves and soldiers and related stuff, me? I enjoyed the wonders of the many landscapes, curiously I found a plaque with the developers of the HiveNET and many other oddities as my telescope over there" she pointed towards the telescope´s tube on her backpack

"After the empire event, things got more advantageous for me, since I already have survival experience and hiding spots, I managed to live ok for a good time, the empire has its flaws, but I have also seen the rebels do their dirty stuff, don´t take me wrong, there are always scavengers and people who join groups only to murder." Kris said and then looked at the window

"I managed to sent a mesage to the outside world, it was a short one, but I could atleast tell someone I trust that if someone here died, he or she would be in a state of stasis until the real body could wake up, and gladly, time here is normal like outside. If you are wondering how I could send the message, I went to the very edges of Aetherna and on top of a mountain was a temple with scrapped off items, one of them was a comunicator, but the moment I send the message, it got crumbled into dust"

Kris then looked at Phenom "I have traveled through most of these lands, and have seen both sides of the coin, and have had enough experience to know that this war will have no winner, just a longer surviving group. That is why im searching for places no one has ever gone in this world, to find anything that can let us open to our real life" she finished holding her pendant tightly
