    Tribal village

Jason grabbed Seki's chainsaw and followed Kris to the tent. Once there, he saw a shaman chanting something while his hands hovered over Seki.

"What happened back there?", Jason asked Kris as he watched the shaman work.

"Seki has has a fear of society for something on her past that made her try to be away from people, thats why she has lived on the forest, then the temperature drop is her opposite since she is a fire magician, then add the lack of oxygen making her to shut down, I will apologize with her when she gets better, but right now Seki just need to relax, then IŽll face what she can do" she said putting another coat on the girl

Jason watched as Kris put another coat on Seki.

"You know, I could just as easily warm her up instantly.", Jason said in a calm, positive tone as he stood within range of Seki.

He then began to slightly increase the vibrations of Seki's molecules, allowing her body to regain its natural temperature. Jason continued to stand there, warming up Seki and increasing her recovery.
Jason then turned over to Kris and spoke.

"So, do we need anything else from the village? Maybe equipment or supplies?", Jason asked as he counted off all the things he brought.

He had enough food to last them five or six days, but after that, they would have nothing.

Seki stared blankly with chaos and panic in her heart even after the huntress did embrace her. It wasn’t until she spoke her soothing words to Seki that she was able to stop her shaking. She put her arms around Kris’s neck as she was lifted and held on all the way to the tent. Kris was one of two people that Seki trusted the other being Jason. She was however the ONLY person Seki actually looked up too.

As they entered the tent, the heat reached Seki’s face and quickly warmed her entire body. The heat gave her enough comfort to feel as though she was back in control again. She tried to hold on to Kris as she placed her down by the fire but the huntress had slipped out of her grasp. Seki still wasn’t very calm, just more confident that she would be ok. She couldn’t tell the shaman was trying to help and saw him as an enemy. Not to mention he smelled funny. Seki gritted her teeth and shot beams of hatred from her eyes towards the ground. She began to reach for the shaman’s arm, fully intending to cook the man alive in the same manner she had nearly done to Jason and Tenebrae. Jason having experienced this firs hand may have seen what Seki was up too and stopped her before it was too late. Kris however had never seen Seki do this before and would have no knowledge of it.

"Nope, we just came here for Seki to get better with her body, we are only guests in this village, the moment we finish this, we are going back down, in a safer way" Kris answered JasonŽs question and then looked at the walls

"These people barely trust me and they could kill us in an instant you know?, this room has many hidden holes that can liberate a gas, the shaman would give himself with us to blow us up, thats why we are only guest who need to pay" the huntress said as a villager came with a rune box. She then took her backpack and searched for some gems.

While taking them out, there were from simple zirconium to rubies and diamonds "We are safe for this trip, they will keep an eye on us so no one attack us on our way back, if you see a poisoned or frozen bandit, you will know we are safe" Kris said

Jason listened to Kris and nodded as he slowly turned his head over to Seki, only to see her about to make the grave mistake of boiling the shaman alive.
Reacting quickly, Jason darted downward at lightning speed and grabbed Seki's hand, stopping her from cooking the shaman.

"That's a very bad idea.", Jason said to Seki in a tone that conveyed that he was serious.

"The shaman is here to help you, not hurt you.", Jason then said, trying to reassure Seki.

Jason’s suddenly jumping out at her, startled her and caused her to react quickly without thinking. In the blink of an eye she had bitten Jason’s finger just hard enough to draw blood and cause him to let go. She pushed away from him with her foot and rolled backwards until she was against a wall, squatting on her feet. She pointed her hand out towards the three of them, pointing a flame in her defense. She didn’t attack them, but it was obvious that she wasn’t in a stable state of mind. For this to work she would either have to be calmed down or put to sleep before the shaman could work on her.

Kris saw what happened and walked towards the duo, she faced the startled fire magician "Whatever you want to put on fire, do it on me, let him adapt your mana flow, later we will leave to a warmer area, just let him do his job" she said moving closer to the girl with no fear

She sitted crosslegged close to Seki and looked at her "So have you done art with you fire?"

Jason gritted his teeth as he looked at the blood leaving his finger.

(Damn it!... Stay calm Jason, she's scared, she didn't bite you out of anything else but fear.), Jason thought to himself as he began to speed up his healing rate.

After he healed his finger, Jason then looked to Kris and spoke.

"You don't want to do that. Trust me, I know from experience. She boils you from the inside, out.", Jason said in a calm tone.

Just in case, Jason also stopped the vibrations between Seki's hand and Kris's arm, making the heat transfer impossible. He then turned his head towards Seki.

"Trust me on this, the shaman's not here to hurt you. If he was, then Kris wouldn't have brought you here.", Jason said to Seki as he crouched down next to Kris and her.

Seki stopped her fire once Kris was the one close to her. She had offered to let Seki burn her but… but she didn’t want to hurt Kris. Anyone but Kris. Anger, fear, paranoia, shock, and now concern and sadness. Seki’s fridge mind had been through so much that it had actually made her tired. Seki dropped against Kris’s body making no attempt to burn or harm. It seemed her behavior had caused her to think in a different mindset. A much calmer and cooperative mindset. “But it don’t wanna burn you.” She mumbled into the huntress’s shoulder. “I’m really tired. Is it bed time yet?”

The huntress smiled "Yes it is time to sleep Seki, just relax and let your dreams flow" she said humming her song as the shaman looked at her and nodded that he finished

"Guess we will stay here for some time, please give the shaman this box to thank him" Kris said gesturing a box of gems near her backpack as she kept putting the fire phoenix asleep

Jason nodded to Kris and stood back up. He then turned over to Kris's backpack and walked over. Once there, he then pulled out the box Kris had asked asked for. Box in hand, Jason then handed it to the shaman.

"Here you go.", Jason said to the shaman in a calm tone.

Seki sighed heavily into the huntress’s shoulder and closed her eyes. She drifted off to sleep letting her mind and body rest, feeling comfortable next to the huntress. She was still holding the huntress around her chest to support her but she was quickly going limp.

Pandre glanced at Hyo, You mean Hyo? Papa gave me Hyo, he says Hyo will look after me, and make sure I won't...kill stuff or destroy stuff. Papa always complains about me corrupting his circuitry. She said with a giggle. Are you even sure that they're still there...Pandre asked as she rushed to Yomi's side, passing him a spare glass bottle

Yomi took the bottle without taking his eyes of the book and put it in his pocket. He gave the cat a cursory glance, " Thanks,so the cat is to you like my books are to me? helps keep me calm and such, except...I do not randomly kill people when I go hyper... And how did the cat end up in Aeterna anyway? I didn't know the HiveNET chip worked on animals.

Yomi glanced at the still distant treeline and he looked down at his still recovering legs, then at the grass under his feet, then he got an idea. "No, I am quite sure they are gone, it has been a while, either they escaped or were taken, either way they won't be in the same place...maybe I could speed up our travel, just seat down " Yomi placed his book back inside his pack and lowered himself onto the grass, he placed the huthvirn across his lap and took out the grimoire.
