Should we make a Touhou mod for Minecraft?

Sooo, any news on new IDEAS or WHO codes it?
i actually would love a multiplayer mod, are they really that hard to make? (ok, i only saw tekkit, but thats a finished product)
lets throw some random stuff in here:
-Remilia boss mob: turns into a swarm of red bats (deal damage) regularily and shoots gungnirs
-Blindness: negative status that adds "bedrock fog" (yeah, i think of you rumia fans xD)
-Rumia: Blindness-Aura (hurr durr)
-Giant Catfish: Earthquakes (did you know that lufia for snes had one too :3 )
-Sakuya: friggin teleports and throwing knives
-Throwing knives , stabbing people in the back with 600% more range :3
-Some Sort of Turrets/Wards against other peoples ( Dogs and Golems useless against other players)
- a list /command to determine which those attack ?
-A Npc that sells rare stuff and rarely even boss loot at horrendous prices?*cough cough*
-epic mounts!
-epic tools!
-epic Equipment!
-Isnt there some sort of Age/Gender Mod? (would certain mistakes less to occur *whistle~*)
-oh if theres going to be a moon, how about moon rabbits shooting suppositories?
- Ricefields for Sake or Riceballs
- oh small idea i had recently: A Poison Cloud effect for a spellcard, i imagine it looking like purple water source that flows into all directions and dissipates right afterwards.

The list just got updated recently. I highly suggest you read it closely. (Thinking about it, I forgot to put riceballs... (>.<)) As for who's coding... not Topaz. She only knows the basics. She could model and texture, however. I wonder... do you think Futo could code it?

I think Modeling and texturing are very important for the project... especially because of all those touhou characters xD we dont want them looking like mere steves in disguise , dont we?
wish i could rip some wow dragon model / animations and simplify them for use in mc xD
but if you tell me how big those mc item icons are i might try to design some...
Edit: oh, there was blindness already? cool, less work for us :3, so whats the giant doll supposed to do?

I can rig and do custom animations too, I just need to know what format Java needs them in to read. I know everything for MC was made in a program named Maya, which is closely related to the program I use, 3ds max.
as for a break down on the time it would take for say...a custom Miko model (boxy)
1day for the model itself
1 day to UVW and texture it and get it looking good (need to paint a custom texture)
.5 day to rig it
1 day to animate and test it (make sure it's not doing moronic things)
and I could set physics boxes but i don't know if the built in codeing for that would carry.I can listen to 10 people a once, but unfortunately you are the 11th. Sucks to be you

too bad they dont have a set date on which theyll release that "Plugin-Update" which "makes it easier to add and animate models" :/
Hardest part of the models would be to make them look female :3 or have skirts, wings, horns, hat accessoirce (poor parsee)
Other Stuff:
-New Jukebox for Touhou-related music (mhm would need a new UI -.-)

I don't know what's going on or if it's already in progress, but instead of making powers for every character, why not just make character items, like in 12.3? Like Frozen Frog and Hakurei Amulets. They could have throw potion abilities, or just be hacks of potions o3oI'm a proud supporter of Futo Mononobe, and will find any Hopless Masquerade combo you want me to. Except Kokoro. I don't have her unlocked yet.

Putting too many different character-specific items would either lead to lots of different crafting recipes or mass genocide of your beloved girls (mob loot). all i do is suggesting abilities for (boss)mobs.
since i cant do anything but suggesting, once a coder is found, you can do what you want :3
mhm so 16x16 for normal and hd would be 32x32?
Edit: So i visited spriters resource and ripped some spellcard frames

if I wasn't making my own game right now, I might have thought about jumping on this
just as a side-note though... as a programmer, advertisements such as these look rather unappealing; if you really want someone to get on this, you need to give them some sort of incentive to do so; money works but I doubt a touhou minecraft mod is worth that amount of money to anyone; make it clear that the project is THEIRS, and that they'll have a lot lot lot of control over the final product, as well as ALL the revenue from ad.fly links (or at least 2/3 if you include texture artists); when you listed those job titles (supervisor, ideas, etc.), you make it seem like those positions have already been decided, and that I'm there only to fill in the programmer gap and just follow orders from above; just say that you already have some ideas (list some in the thread to inspire people! unless you guys are paranoid that this is a really really good idea and someone will steal it) and that you, rap, and topaz have the art assets covered so that I don't need to worry about it and can concentrate on just the programming
nothing pisses us off more than when designers try and ask us to do something and expect it to be doable and done exactly how they describe it... code just doesn't work that way (though it's infinitely easier with something as simple as minecraft)
if you all aren't willing to do that, then you all should just learn some Java!(for IDEs I recommend IntelliJ for newbie-beginners, but if you aren't scared of complex interfaces I'd recommend eclipse or netbeans) if you don't know it already that is; if it's your first language ever, then great! knowing how to program is something that will never hurt you in terms of future job prospects or experience
