Considering the fact we have the ability to store XP in tanks...
Plus the fact we have backpacks...
It would be more an annoyance than actual use/challenge.

I thought the mod you were describing would INHIBIT inventory space. But instead, it expands it. Trust me, there are easy ways to farm XP in mods than there are in vanilla. This mod will very quickly become OP rather than inhibiting.

Once again, Jesse, you've done it again. Now let us await for the almighty Katrix as he denies this very mod.

InfiniteInvo: you can configer this mod to make it so that you have only the taskbar to start but when you colect levels you "unlock" your inventory you can set how many you start with and how many max inventory you got and how many levels per unlock and if you lose it on death or not

tr in the setings you can set the MAXimum inventory space you can have it 2x as big or 2x as small as normal or have only 1 bar of inventory

also you could set it so it costs 100 levels per slot if satori wanted to be evil......

edit: also you could make it so it costs 10 levels + 10 more for EACH one you unlock so to unlock your 10th one its 100 levels

you can start with only the inventory bar (9 items) and it can be set to COST exp levels and the cost can be changed as iv said before

*bashes head multiple times* Did you even see my edit? Stop multi-posting! I'm not going to merge every post for you!

Again, as nice as things may seem, the mod can quickly become redundant or OP as soon as someone makes an XP farm. It doesn't matter how high or how inhibiting the settings are made; someone, somewhere, will bypass this mod very easily through very simple exploits.

I'm leaving this decision to Katrix, as he's the creator and modpack owner, but I'm already saying no to this.

To add to TR's argument: You can set up XP FARMS! We have a fish farm that generates anything you can fish, cooks fish automatically AND it stores the XP in a tank.
I can just load up RTY, place myself in a safe zone near my fish farm, so the chunk is loaded, and go do my homework. XP farming is EASY!
Also, like I said before, this mod has already been denied by Katrix back near the start of beta-testing. (or even before beta-testing, not sure if it was before or just after the start of testing).
There is probably about a 00.00% chance that it'll be put into the pack.

That response said nothing in regards to Cucoo's argument.
Cucoo's saying that we can sort of cheat around the mod you're suggesting by grabbing backpacks, which will give us easy access to more inventory slots.
Cucoo also said that we can store XP in tanks, so we just put all our XP in there and once we have enough for an unlock, we grab that from the tank and use it, therefore almost nullifying XP loss from deaths etc.
