Communication is key, during the breaks we have between these meetings talk to others about projects, work on things etc. etc.

Summary for the Build Meeting:
Today's meeting went nice and smooth. We worked out the block compositions of Chireiden for the interior and exterior walls. Still undecided on a ceiling yet, but we have wall designs! We went through about a bajillion wall concepts until finally settling on one that also goes along with the checkered floor pattern inside the palace.

After that we all flew to wanderingAviator in which she was working on the Dragon Palace. There's now an extension on one of the sides.

Along with that, Karuiko continued working on the SDM library.

My next meeting may or may not be on the 2nd, but it's still planned to be on the 2nd. Later that week is when my vacation starts though and I'll be away for approximately 10 days.

The trailer has been postponed until we update the server. Staff talked about it a bit and thought it would be best to have the trailer accompany the hype of new survival.

Next building meeting is on July 2nd, 2019 5PM(GMT-3).

Summary for the Build Meeting:
CHIREIDEN HYPE!!!

So after two bad meetings I've hosted (I sowwie I'm bad), today's meeting went SUPER WELL! Eiburine and I talked about changing up the floor plan of Chireiden, because the old one was.... horrendous. We showed everyone the new floor plan. We yeeted the old Chireiden out of existence and started working on the new Chireiden.

Chireiden will have three floors.
First floor will have the main hall you see in TH11's stage 4 / TH13.5 fighting stage, a ballroom, dining room, kitchen, pantry, living room, library, storage, and bathrooms. Near the back of the palace will be the courtyard that leads to the hell of blazing fires.
Second floor will have an art gallery, bedrooms for all the animals + Orin and Okuu, even more bathrooms, and the Ballroom and Library will extend up into the second floor.
Third floor will have Satori and Koishi's room, and the center of Chireiden will have a tower that has a bell (Bell of Avici ~ Infinite Nightmare).

Birb claims the library, and I'm okay with that. If anyone has ideas for other rooms, let Eiburine or myself know and we'll give you directions.

The trailer has been postponed until we update to 1.13. Staff talked about it a bit and thought it would be best to have the trailer accompany the hype of new survival.

Next building meeting is on June 4th, 2019 5PM(GMT-3).

Communication is key, during the breaks we have between these meetings talk to others about projects, work on things etc. etc.

Summary for the Build Meeting:
So the original plan was to work on Chireiden, but unfortunately Eiburine was still busy with her classes, so that has no progress. We will eventually start Chireiden! Don't worry!

The meeting started off with Yukibara showing us a very very large temple-like build that she felt could go in a place like Makai or something. I don't remember the full details of the discussion, but it ended up with us using the statue inside the temple for Ruins of Vina, and have the statue represent Sariel or something along those lines.

After that, Alayosho and others worked on plans for Lunar Capital/City stoof, while Phantom and I continued the caves of Subterranean Animism.

The trailer has been postponed until we update to 1.13. Staff talked about it a bit and thought it would be best to have the trailer accompany the hype of new survival.

Next building meeting is on April 2nd, 2019 5PM(GMT-4).

Building during build meetings do not count towards a Temp Builder's quota for building in a month. We understand if life and such gets in the way, but just keep that in mind and try to find time to build throughout the month instead of just at meetings.
Also remember to let us know what you've been working on throughout the month so that we know you are trying to help and are putting the effort in.

Summary for Cyros's 2nd Build Meeting:

I've been so busy with work that I forgot to post the summary for the second build meeting. Sorry about that.

This meeting focused entirely on the Makai project as a whole. I can't remember the order on what we talked about, but we talked about the general locations for everything in Makai.

We also talked about the two potential spots for where the portal in Makai would be located when you are ported in.

Builds for Makai City will be built in a Mediterranean style.

TRXD, if I'm missing anything from this meeting, feel free to edit this post at your leisure. I unfortunately cannot remember everything.

Summary for Cyros's 3rd Build Meeting:

This meeting started off with a brief reminder on Temp Builders. I mentioned that meetings should not be counted towards the monthly quota, since everyone's basically around during meetings anyways.

After that we talked about the Hakurei Shrine having a main shrine separate from the visiting shrine based on Chapter 48 of Wild and Horned Hermit.

The next thing that was abruptly brought up was my idea on replacing the current Genso v3 map with a better Genso v3 map that actually represented a valley instead of, in my opinion, what currently looks like a crater. I talked about how I haven't really had any progress since I brought up the idea due to how busy I've been with my job and irl stuff, and didn't want to make it public, but now that it's out in the open, I understand that it should have been brought to everyone's attention earlier. I'm sorry I haven't had any progress on it until today.

Speaking of, The dimensions for the next map will be 4000x4000 blocks (3000x3000 for Genso itself with an extra 500 blocks around each border so you don't see void at the edge of Gensokyo). The terrain itself is literally based on this part of Japan. We will be doing a drawing of the general area and figuring out where the locations will go for the map.
This does not mean that everything on the current Gensokyo map is pointless. We will be porting as much as we can from the current map to the new map if this idea works out. It is also not set in stone if we are actually going through with this idea. It's a wait and see what comes of it. Continue working as if the current map is the map we are using.

Along with that, everyone else went off to build their own projects and such. wanderingAviator worked on Heaven concepts, 9_Cirno_9 showed us the frog pond concept, and Wriggle showed us concepts for the SDM library.

The trailer has been postponed until we update to 1.13. Staff talked about it a bit and thought it would be best to have the trailer accompany the hype of new survival.

Next building meeting is on March 5th, 2019 5PM(GMT-4).

Summary for Cyros's 1st Gensokyo v3 Building Meeting 11/6/2018:

Communication is key, during the breaks we have between these meetings talk to others about projects, work on things etc. etc.
Most of the projects in my meetings will be different from Koko's meetings, but that doesn't mean we can't coordinate the same project between both meetings!

So I started off explaining the entirety of Touhou 11's cave system which starts at the Dank Blowhole all the way down to the Hell of Blazing 420's.
  • Stage 1 area is half completed, will need help terraforming the area between Kisume and Yamame's fight area. Yamame needs a home. Let's prevent her from being homeless.
  • Stage 2 caves will be mostly diorite stone layer, and Parsee's bridge will be worked on by Kritter and I.
  • Stage 3 was only shown as it is the Ancient City project being run by PhantomNerifes. If you want to help here, you must ask Phantom first. This is where the Andesite stone layer of the caves starts.
  • Stage 4 needs Chireiden to be worked on, and is also where the second relative teleport will be located.
  • Stage 5 is the supposed ruins of old hell and I will need help conceptualizing it. The Granite layer starts around here.
  • Stage 6 is both where the Subterranean Sun is, as well as the nuclear reactor that will take you up to Youkai Mountain.
For the most part, Chireiden and the Subterranean Sun have been worked on this day with the Chireiden front entrance being started and the Subterranean Sun looking completely badass (Check the Genso Projects channel on Discord to see its beauty).

Next meeting will be focusing on setting up the Makai world and TRXD will explain the projects that will be going in.

Next building meeting is on December 4th, 2018 5PM(GMT-4).

WAT UP, PEPPERMINTS?!

It's everyone's favorite amalgamation staff member, Cyros here! As some of you know, I've been considering hosting building meetings of my own separate from Koko's meetings. The simple reason is because I can almost never attend her meetings, and rather than have her change the time of those meetings to simply convenience me over everyone else, I decided to also host meetings myself.

The projects of my meetings will be (hopefully) different projects than the ones Koko will be doing, and anyone who attends Koko's meetings do not have to also attend mine. If you feel ambitious and want to work as much as possible all round, then by all means attend both her meetings and mine. If you want to stick with Koko's only, that's fine. If you want to stick with mine only, that is also fine. The choice is yours! Other than that, some of the projects here do have members leading them that I would like to have in my meetings.

So I know the question on everyone's mind at this point. WHEN is the meetings? Based on the conversations I've had with many members, the most optimum time I can host a meeting that will have the most members is Tuesday at around the same times Koko does her meetings, which is 5PM my time (GMT -3, will be -4 when DST ends). Although an exact time is not perfectly solidified as of yet. I work on weekends, so I simply cannot do meetings on the weekend, and my days off are Monday and Tuesday, so that's why Tuesday is the day.

Here's how my meetings will go. The first Tuesday of the month will be an actual meeting. The projects themselves will be discussed, what needs to be done, who's doing what, and all of that stuff for the projects will be established, and on consecutive meetings after the first, we will also talk about the progress that's been made from the previous month. Each other Tuesday is not necessarily a meeting, but I will be around and in the building room so anybody is free to join me that day. If anything needs to be brought up at any point, don't be afraid to bring it up! I'm here to help as much as possible for both myself and anyone else working on/leading projects! Communication is important!

And without further ado, here is a list of projects I would like to host in my meetings [The people who are leads are in brackets]

Subterranean Animism as a whole [Cyros_Lugoth]
- Ancient City [PhantomNerifes]
- Chireiden [Eiburine, Cyros_Lugoth]
- Nuclear Reactor [PhantomNerifes, Cyros_Lugoth]

Myourenji as a whole [???]
- Myouren Temple [xadrow]
- Graveyard [???]
- Tunnel leading to Mausoleum [???]
- Hall of Dreams' Great Mausoleum [Cyros_Lugoth]
- Palanquin [Shimitty]

Shining Needle Castle [Cyros_Lugoth]

Makai as a whole [TRXD]
- Hokkai [Cyros_Lugoth]

Gap Realm [Cyros_Lugoth]

Lunarian Projects (MAYBE. This includes Eientei, Lunar Capital/City, Sea of Tranquility, etc)

If anyone listed in the above projects is false, please kindly let me know. Don't shout or get the wrong idea or make me out to be the badguy or anything. Just please let me know so I can change it. Thank you. Also, these projects are either incomplete or not ported into Gensokyo as of yet, so that is why they are on the list. For example; my Mausoleum is completed, but it is not ported in, nor does it have a place to go yet. Lastly, if anyone at any time has an issue, misunderstanding, or is having miscommunication with anybody, please, please let me know so I can try to sort out the issue and have it resolved!

And with that, feel free to post if you would like to attend these or not! The meetings will be held in the building room on Discord! Also let me know if 5PM (GMT -3) is a good time or not! I am willing to change the time to hopefully work out for as many as possible!
