I couldn't have said it better.
Though part of me wants to somehow add that the religious council is more grounded while the nobles have loftier goals...
Well what if the religious group that promotes life is benevolent, but to the point of almost shooting themselves in the foot? They believe that everything should be solved peacefully and with no bloodshed. They might hold an optimistic view of the galaxy, while the nobles might be a little more pragmatic. They might see the galaxy in a different light, that things will eventually end in bloodshed, and when the going gets tough, they want to have a neutral view on how they both govern themselves and how they handle foreign policy.
Aye.
And part of it could be here...
The religion.
There are two councils
One is a religious council while the other is of nobles.
The nobles seemingly want nothing to do with the religion. Don't have a reason yet...
From what I've gathered, the Prometheos are a prideful race that has a noticeable affinity for the two energies. Unlike the Arcains, they are also more physically adept, and their blood can give special abilities.
With Tina's backstory, the Arcains are fairly solid now.
I think going in order of timeline would be best to work out the races, saving Caeles for last. So next, Prometheos. I can't type much but tidbits have been mentioned.
Typical heart string puller
Nyx was going around Outer City (lower classes, mostly Arcains) when she finds a little girl in a small crevice, crying. She asks what the matter was, and the little girl responds (don't know what yet. Might be something to do with a broken crystal. Might say that Arcains are born with a Corlaviri Crystal... Going to work on it later) and Nyx then kneels down and repairs the crystal using her own power. The fixed crystal is indestructible and then a little more Dialogue and Nyx then brings the little girl back to the Manor.
