I'll try and come up with something for you okay? Though since today is Thanksgiving don't expect me to be active here on the forums all too much. I'll still be on Mumble though for a while.

Try putting traps related to the winter season, ice spikes, freezing gusts of air, etcetera.

Mmm... Thought of first trap. Pitfall with Narrow Ice Bridge (balance beam like). Sound too easy? Let's add horizontal ice beams/spikes that are extraordinarily fragile crisscrossing the room like a giant game of kerplunk. Break one, the room seals and bridge collapses. More a test of grace and coordination. Think of it like those spy scenes trying to get past laser "trip-wires."

Oh and how brittle are things? Let's just say you breath on one and they all start to chime like wind-chimes and snow dust falls from the doorways.

These .45 pistols have been custom made to increase accuracy and reduce recoil. They are nothing overly remarkable, ancient even, but they are very reliable. Each pistol can hold 15 rounds.

XMA-38 Assault Rifle

The XMA-38 is a gauss rifle that can switch between, semi-automatic, full-auto, and burst-fire. The weapon fires 5.56mm rounds at a velocity of Mach 5. The lower attachment of the weapon is a 25mm grenade launcher, but the rotating barrel can be swapped out for rotating barrels suited for 2 and 8 gauge shotgun shells, as well as 40mm grenades. The rifle itself can hold up to 80 rounds, thanks to the casket clips they use.

2 ZCX-S2 Gauss Machine Pistols

These ZCX Series 2 pistols are fully automatic gauss machine pistols that fire 2mm rounds at Mach 5. Each pistol can hold 80 rounds in each clip, thanks to the casket clips they use.

LVS-32 Sniper Rifle

The LVS-32 Sniper Rifle fires a 7.62mm round at Mach 20 and has a 2x - 200x view scope. The sniper rifle holds 10 casket clip-fed rounds.

TRX-77

The TRX-77 is an anti-tank weapon that fires 25mm round at just above Mach 40. This weapon can be loaded with either 25mm grenades, or slugs, depending on the situation. The weapon can hold up to five rounds in each clip.

GCC-60 Magnum Pistol

The GCC-60 Magnum Pistol fires a .60 caliber round at Mach 2. The weapon is meant mainly for heavily armed targets at short range. It's design is primitive to the current time's weapon technology, but it's effectiveness as a man-stopper is unquestionable. In order to compensate for the heavy recoil, a counterbalance has been placed on the weapon. The weapon can hold up to 7 rounds.

Handheld Chainsaw and Plasma Rod

The handheld chainsaw is a miniaturized version of a normal chainsaw, except it's meant for combat. The Carbon Steel blades on the chain makes the weapon resilient to damage, but it's mainly meant for cutting through unarmored targets and not armor.

The Plasma Rod is crude in its design, but still very dangerous. The coil heats up to 20,000 *F (11,093.33 *C) and is capable of vaporizing flesh and warping most armors in a single sweep. It is very dangerous, but if the heating rod is damaged, the weapon will become unstable and will break.

Heated Ceramic Carbide Sword

This sword is made up of Ceramic Carbide, making it somewhat heavy, but is virtually indestructible and will never lose its edge. The cutting edge of the blade can be heated up to temperatures reaching 70,000 *F (38871.11 *C), causing a thin sheet of plasma to form over the cutting edge. From there, a magnetic field is applied to the plasma from the blade, shaping the plasma into a thin edge that reaches the atomic scale. This allows it to cut through some of the strongest materials with ease, but it needs time to charge after being used for a certain amount of time.

Shock Units

Located on the knuckles, forearms, and elbows of the suit are nano-sized shock units capable of shocking or stunning opponents by targeting their nervous system. The effects from the shock units are temporary paralysis, pain, weakness, violently shaking, and unconsciousness, depending on the strength of the shock.

Armor

Ethan's armor is made out of extra-durable nano-fibers capable of defending against, most small caliber weapons, while the armor plating is a special type of Titanium Alloy. This Titanium Alloy is lightweight, but incredibly durable, only being able to be damaged by higher powered and/or and large caliber weaponry.

The helmet has an onboard HUD, allowing Ethan to see information on his location, his ship's status, and many other things. His HUD comes with a radar/minimap, ammo counter, targeting system, armor and body condition readout, and oxygen readout. It also has various vision modes, allowing Ethan to pick out targets more easily. The helmet comes with an oxygen supply that can filter out the air in the environment and store it for later. In the case of an emergency, the oxygen tank will use digitized oxygen to keep the user alive.

The armor has an onboard computer that allows the suit to perform complex tasks and even create new tasks. It is all dependent on what Ethan uses it for. The armor also comes with an anti-gravity module, allowing Ethan to control where in space he floats during EVA missions, and to an extent, fly. His suit is lined with a layer that keeps his armor at a regulated temperature, allowing him to traverse deserts and sub-zero temperatures without worrying about freezing or burning. When the suit gets damaged, it can repair itself with nanomachines. His suit also comes with a miniature fusion reactor able to power all of the suit's functions.

The boots have shock absorbers that protect the user from being injured from falling great distances.

Drinks, candy, teargas, flashbangs, a box of cigarettes, a digital storage compartment, ammunition, and a remote ship caller.

Personality: Ethan is what some would call a wild, "free spirit". The other majority of people would call him "bat-sh*t insane". To himself, Ethan would regard himself as simply enjoying his immortality. After all, "what's the point of living forever if you're not having fun?" Ethan is a wild-man, a risk taker, a daredevil, a badboy; pretty much a guy that lives like he's dying. That being said, he also has a more relaxed, calmer, casual side to him. If one sits down to have a conversation with him, one will soon find that there's quite a bit more to him than just testosterone and adrenaline. If the situation permits, he shows wisdom, intelligence and kindness, and contrary to people's thoughts from how he usually acts, he's not completely insensitive.

He usually remarks about particular situations and is not one to care too much during a fight. In battle, he can sometimes be a little arrogant, due to his inability to die by normal means. Despite his job, there are some contracts he will refuse. As he says, "Even mercs have standards."


History/Bio: In the past, Ethan was a 4-year-old orphan turned test subject for GRACE (Genetic Research And Cellular Engineering) Industries's Super Human Program. There were many programs that were created for the same goal - creating the perfect soldier, one that could never die and could overcome any hardship - and with Ethan, they altered his entire being. Using the Phoenix Serum, a serum born from the chaotic processes of cancer cells, Grace Industries managed to induce a state in all of Ethan's cells that gave them hyper-cancerous qualities, as well as the ability to become hypersensitive to external forces. What GRACE created was a man that could regenerate from even the worst injuries, could never age, and could always evolve to overcome whatever was thrown at him. It seemed as if Ethan was GRACE's magnum opus, the pinnacle of what they could do to the human body, a testament to their scientific prowess. Unfortunately, this being was something GRACE found difficult to contain.

It didn't take long for Ethan to learn about GRACE Industries's lack of ethics, and before too long, Ethan wanted out of the program. Unfortunately, the only way out was death, and GRACE was not too keen on losing their prize. Grace tried to contain Ethan with every countermeasure imaginable, but he would simply adapt and overcome them. The best they could do during each escape attempt was to use tranquilizers on him, but he eventually adapted to them as well. Finally, in a daring escape that ended with the base he was being held in being blown up, Ethan had finally tasted freedom.

Ethan knew that this wouldn't be the last he would see of GRACE Industries, so soon after escaping, Ethan decided to try and blend in with the rest of the universe. Ethan's first job was that of a marriage councilor, much to Ethan's dismay. Due to an aptitude test he took at a job office, he was given the task of helping couples solve their marital issues. Ethan stayed with the job for a few months, but he grew weary of giving advice on a subject that he had no life experience in. How was he supposed to give marital advice when he was incapable of settling down and growing old with someone, due to his inability to age a single day? That, and because GRACE eventually found him and blew up his office while he was working, killing a couple and plastering Ethan against one side of the room... what was left of him.

It was this moment when Ethan decided to quit the marriage councilor job and put his abilities to better use. After all, exploding clients were bad for business, and he knew that word would get out about his abilities. With that in mind, Ethan bought a gun, some of the cheapest armor he could afford, and started from there.

After years of contracts, killing, escorting, and hijinks, Ethan is now a bounty hunter and mercenary, putting his skills to good use. There's still times when the people that created him try to capture or kill him, but they have yet to succeed. He has been dubbed by many as "Phoenix", due to his inability to die, and because of the rumors about him being able to survive temperatures that would incinerate most people. Little do people know of the true significance of the name "Phoenix"...


Notes: Ultra-adaptive DNA and a cellular structure that has many qualities that are similar to cancer. Unstable DNA in a sense, only benign, beneficial even. Thanks to his ultra-adaptive DNA and cellular behavior, he can quickly regenerate from any wound within a couple seconds, to a few minutes, depending on the injury. Because of this, he is very hard to kill. Not only that, it also allows him to adapt to any situation, depending on how long he's put under stress. Without any stress, he has the same strength, speed, resilience, and reaction time of a normal human, but when put under certain kinds of physical stress, his body slowly adapts to the situation at hand. For example, let's say there's a 100 metric tonne object he has to lift. Normally, he has the normal strength of a human, but the longer he tries to lift the object, the stronger he becomes. Given enough time, he will be able to lift the object, but after a certain amount of time, his DNA/physiology will revert back to normal, returning all of his abilities back to that of a normal human.

Also, surprisingly, he is very similar to the person in his appearance pictures. The appearance is from a comic, Last Man Standing (LMS). The character depicted is Gabriel, who actually has abilities similar to Ethan.

God can't think of anything... Can't think of how to even go about trying to work in the whole booby trap sort of deal... I know how it's supposed to be triggered, I know how it's supposed to be dealt with, I know what it's for, I know that I have to go back and edit it into my previous posts, but I cannot think of anything for some reason.
