      Eheheheh... I mainly did it out of pressure from Wriggle and Katrix. I was actually thinking long and hard on the matter. I was juggling up between various ones including Moonsong from Cave Story.

                Apocrypha Generator can be activated by remote. It has a massive radius which ultimately covered most of the Mechonis in the game, meaning it can cover half of the world.
                Now it was designed to primarily affect Zanza's Monado only, to the point where it takes a sh*t ton of will power to get it to have basic functions again as seen in this cutscene:

                Shulk is trying to force the Monado to work in that scene, but he's having a tough time doing so.
                He eventually does manage to force it to work completely properly, just in time to destroy the Apocrypha.

                Now on what would be more effective...
                It literally depends on who strikes first.
                If Jack was first, then you would want the Apocrypha able to be activated by remote.
                If Takoizu was first, then her abilities would work.

                  Then the most efficient option would be a third option: hide the Apocrypha Generator somewhere underground and keep a remote. If her abilities are canceled, she can rely on the Generator for support and remotely activate it.
