What should I do if the Gauss Rifle gets a critical hit?

You see, when it scores a critical hit, it knocks the target down for 4 seconds. Not only that, but with the Finesse perk, almost every shot fired from the Gauss Rifle is a crit. (Here)

Is Marazmus effected by knockback?

I wouldn't say he is knocked back, but he'll probably stagger for a short time and stop whatever he is doing. It's basically going to be leaving an opening so others can attack him.
