Ooh, ooh, do Allen and Mira! Where would they go?
Allen is 17 and has spent 21 years as a ghoul. He has some experience due to Mira teaching him the ways for ten years. And he doesn't really understand modern memes ("do you even lift?" "Um, I gues, I mean, lift what, I don't...")
Mira is 24 and has spent 47 years as a ghoul. She was, unlike Allen, hateful of humans and would often infiltrate their ranks to feast on their pain and misery. She did this until she met Allen, the only one she really cared about and took him under her wing... Or skeletal hands. She is much more powerful. Powerful enough to have buried an entire village in ice and still be able to walk away from it. She's also socially untrained. Mira never tells Allen about her older days. And she hates to be called old even though she technically is.
Where would these guys be?

Crap-ith.
Oh well. I'm surprised Allen didn't make it through. He's like a little (or rather big) Cirno. Playful and (9)ish, but can hold his ground. He has no malicious intent.

Just a heads up, I'm typing up the other half of the battle, so don't meet John just yet.
Also, as she gets closer to his area, the place will become exceedingly dark, due to the torches being out. That means that she would have some resistance from the shadows, but like Cucoo said, they don't move freely in light, only when the darkness is more prevalent. We made some posts discussing it earlier.
