The descent to the first room quickly got colder as a brisk wind could be felt. Ice started to coat floor, walls, and ceiling. What appeared to be snow drifted in from the wind. The stair then ended in a small straight portion that led into the first basement room. Light glistened off of pure white walls covered in smooth ice. A thin bridge of ice crossed a pit whose bottom was lined with sharp spikes of ice and a strange blue flame. Crisscrossing the entirety of the room was needle thin ice beams that ended in fragile points that wove their way over the bridge, each supported by another0. Through the web of ice, the other side could be seen, a doorway with a precariously placed Forterium metal slab immediately above it, supported only by a few of the thin ice beams. A curtain of Inerium flowed on either side of the doorway.

Eve looked at John as he held the unconscious Hajime over her shoulders. "With him I can move at approximately 20 mph. Is it sufficient" Eve replied as she continued to hold Hajime over her shoulders, her look seemed to be impassive throughout this whole situation.

Megumi took a few more steps back as her blade disappeared into digital storage.

"I... fine... I will back down..." She said as she looked at Astraea who has finally recovered from the sand in her eyes. Immediately Astraea looked up and glared at Megumi and the mysterious White Ranger with sore, red eyes before drawing her blade and attempting to slash at the White Ranger's back.

As Bardock proceeded down the stairs he felt a cold chill go down his spine as he finally reached the bottom. The room at the bottom was a rather lengthy, and cold enough to warrant spikes and a bridge of ice. Bardock looked down at the ice bridge which was forming the only path along a large pit of icy cold spikes. Adorning this room was also needle thin beams of ice crossing across the entire room. With a warm chuckle Bardock began to hover above the ground while he held his left hand out in front of him, with palm open.

"Well this is the best you've got? Ice? This is going to be a cake-walk. I can just melt this ice with an energy blast, and fly over the pit! Now just need to charge a sufficiently powerful blast and..." He said as he began to charge a powerful blast of Ki to clear the room before flying to the other side.

"I wouldn't doooo that if I were you~" The voice of the girl was immediately behind Bardock. "The ice is the only thing keeping the door open on the other side~ Plus that strange stuff that seems to be blocking the door is Inerium. No energy will effect it but you can just walk through it. But if the ice breaks... A big old slab of Forterium seals off the door! No amount of force is going to break it down, plus it's only weakness is covered by Inerium... sooooooo...."

She then darted around Bardock and seemingly danced through the ice beams halfway before reaching a point in the middle where she stopped before she performed a backflip, leaning precariously over an ice beam which she just brushed against and the whole room seemed to tremble. Before she lost her balance she turned into a shadow again and darted off saying "Not this time~"

"Now." SiMo simply said, flipping the switch. A sort of static-like sound began to fill the room as he did so.

Unlike most escort missions John had participated in, it seemed that this one would have a much faster pace, due to even their slowest member being faster than most. John was satisfied with the solid 20 mph Eve could run. With a pace like that, the group would be our of the Manor in no time.

"That's good. Keep that pace, and we'll follow alongside and in front of you.", John said to Eve before turning to the rest of the group.

"I'm opening the door. Once it's open, Mima will take point, followed by me and Mara, then Eve. Get ready.", John said.

After speaking, John turned his attention to the large doors in front of them. Wasting little time, John quickly placed his hand on the door and pushed it open as quickly as possible, quickly pulling out his Battle Rifle and aiming down the hall, covering Mima in the event that anything jumped at her.

At the very moment SiMo pulled his switch, Ethan pulled the one he was responsible for and quickly snatched his hand away from the switch as he readied his assault rifle and ran out of the booth, out towards the door.

The static sound only grew as the electricity could be seen flowing beneath them, the door sparking with electricity as it opened. Sirens flared, and then walls started to seem a litle less oild as the inhuman screeching echoed throughout the long room.

SiMo went out of the office, and turned towards the central walkway, a large gap seperating them. SiMo stepped back a little, and ran forward, leaping over the gap due to it's robotic strength and landing with a resounding thud on the central walkway.

Then, they appeared. From the sides, the bioluminecent aliens came, all large than a human, and by SiMo'S estimate, certainly more strong than a human. It's rifle raised, shot after shot being fired in rapid succession, all on target for the glowing parts SiMo knew were weak. It reminded SiMo of older times, defending his former home planet from the creatures. It snapped out of it's few millisecond remembrance. More important things.

Mima floated outside, glancing around before doing a strannge motion with her taff, muttering some indechipherable language under her breath. Then, she raised the staff above her head, much as one would do with a torch, as a powerful light producing orb connected to the two points of the staff's crescent, iluminating a huge area around them.

"Just point me in the right direction." Mima said, a small mirk on her face.

To be honest, John was a little apprehensive about using an escape plan that he or Cortana hadn't formulated, but it was the only shot the group had at getting off the planet. John considered it risky, but then again, when was anything he had ever done not so?

"We'll head out through the front doors. Once out there, we'll find a boat near the west wing and sail north to the Tower of Aquarion.", John said to Mima as he got into formation behind her.


Crash Site - Nevaaras

As Ethan made a run for the central platform, his visor suddenly began to pick up multiple hostiles, placing red triangles over their bodies. Ethan counted what had to be 40 of the creatures, something he did not intend on fighting at the moment. With that in mind, Ethan activated his antigravity module and flew towards the door, quickly catching up to SiMo.

A direct, but effective idea" Mara commented as she put herself on the back of the group, her weapon prepared for surprise attacks. "It would be better if we use a normal pace, if we go running, we might not see a trap or something related"

John looked behind him and over to Mara as he silently thought about her plan. It wasn't a bad idea, especially considering that the group did not know how intelligent these creatures were, but at the same time, the group had to move fast if they wanted to go through the dense concentration of Shadows in their way. The sooner they could escape the manor, the sooner they could leave. Then again, John also considered how they were able to block his path by covering a corridor with black tentacles. Either way, each strategy had its risks and weaknesses. The best option would be to rush when they were out in the open, and slow down in areas that could be holding traps or ambushes. After a couple moments, John finally spoke to Mara.

"We'll use your strategy if we are in a position that is likely to have a trap. We also need to hurry if we want to get out before we are overwhelmed.", John said to Mara.

After entering hyperspace, Reimi stabilized the ship so Reiya and Add can moves freely. "So how did the scan go?" Reiya asked as she unbuckled. "No background has been found and the bio scan says that he is around mid 20s, about 24 - 27 of age." Reimi said after doing the scan. "Then his body should be different at least." Reiya said wondering.

As Bryn and Runa walked through the building, they heard some odd noises, the engineer got her weapon ready as she was prepared to face whatever was around the place "I don`t like this, there is something here.. but I feel like we should keep moving.."

Bryn nodded at the redhead words, she was showing a calm posture, but her eyes were scanning the whole place "We must find that person fast"

A note flew in on the wind, flying right past Mima's face before sailing near the others. The note reads on one side: "The stars remaining in the sky tell how much time remains."
The other: "Fear Nothing."

Suddenly, a mus bounced off of Bryn's head, sailing uncontrollably towards the open stairway towards the north. The rodent-like furball gave off a "murp" each bounce it took down the stairs.

If Bryn showed any surprise at the sudden rodent, her face didnīt make an effort for it, she actually looked curious "Would you look at that, one of those little nuclear reactors" she spoke looking at the direction the creature went

"Even though they are highly dangerous, sometimes it is good to know they are close, maybe we could use it to make an escape route in case of a blockage" Runa offered and then looked concerened "Although if it explodes, we could get damaged by the blast"

"Donīt worry, if such thing happens, just get behind me, there is nothing much that some fire or radiation can do with this layer of skin" the bioroid reassured as they followed the mouse like creature.

The White Ranger looked at Megumi and nodded. "I thank you for your assistance ma'am. Now as for you..." He said as he was beginning to turn around to look at Astraea. However he did not even need to turn around completely to see that she was already preparing to strike at him. Though due to Astraea's speed, the White Ranger was not able to draw Saba in time for a counter. Instead Astraea's blade struck him right in the side of his armor.

The impact from her blade slicing against his armor caused a violent chain reaction in the unique energies of the White Ranger's suit, causing a large amount of sparks to emit from his armor, and causing him to fall down to the ground stunned.

Eve, while holding an unconscious Hajime over her shoulder stepped forward into position.

"I am ready when needed." She said quite simply as she stood in position, ready for their trek through the dangerous chambers ahead.

And as John and the others took off, Eve followed as best as she could, following the others in her assigned position throughout the dark corridors.

Bardock let out a low, and irritated moan as he lowered his hand, absorbing the energy he had charged up back into his body.

"So... you're saying all I need to do is get across without breaking the ice? Is that seriously it? Those thin needles of ice lining the room don't seem like too much of a problem... so looks like all I need to do is actually take things slow and steady this time... Well... here we go." Bardock thought aloud as he then took one slow, and cautious step onto the bridge of ice.





Nevaaras CY-001

After Astraea successfully struck and incapacitated the White Ranger, she stood up and wiped her eyes one more time.

"I hate this stupid place, and I hate the two of you! I hate you for interrupting my job you weird white armored guy, and I hate you Miss Heartless B*tch! I've been hunting you for almost a year now, and I finally found you! Yet you still refuse to just come quietly! Why!?" Astraea cursed as she stomped the ground while glaring at Megumi.


Megumi however just sighed as she summoned her giant Rock Cannon from data storage.

Aiming her cannon at Astraea, Megumi spoke.

"You wouldn't understand... you never will..." Megumi spoke in a rather cold, and heartless tone as she then fired a few powerful blasts from her cannon at Astraea. Though Astraea quickly countered it by drawing her shield and using it's barrier system to project a large enough energy barrier to guard against Megumi's cannon shots.


"Yeah well... you're still a b*tch!" Astraea yelled as she then quickly flew right towards Megumi, of whom had got into a defensive stance ready to counter Astraea.
