    The Two Kingdoms

    Dolhr and Altea

These kingdoms neighbor each other upon a peninsula with Altea at the tip and Dolhr in the mainland. Altea held a prosperous port town known as Port Warren. Dolhr had its mighty fortress city and equally formidable army. The two kingdoms had a symbiotic relationship, Dolhr protected Altea from mainland attacks and Altea provided goods from its trade port. Though one day that peaceful coexistence would be shattered. The first war began when king of Dolhr, Medeus, sought to seize Altea for himself. Dolhr had the advantage as it was the stronger of the two kingdoms in standard military might, but the Alteans had the greater navy. While Dohlr laid siege to the Castle of Altea, they slowly broke down their numbers with offshore bombardment from their ships. As Dolhr's army dwindled in size, King Cornelius of Altea prepared to strike at the heart of Dolhr, the Fortress City.

The city burned with the intensity of the inferno. The army of Altea could not thwart the blaze set by Dolhr's pyromancers. Altea did not have many Noroi, so it fought with the might of will. King Cornelius of Altea, however, was a powerful Chronomancer with the aide of an enchanted blade known as Iris. With it he was capable of allowing his men to pass the walls of flame using rifts of time. With his ability, and the Altean's determination, they defeated Medeus and ended the war.

Without a king, Dolhr became a puppet kingdom to Altea's will. Cornelius appointed his general, Camus, to lead it. Peace was restored for the following decades.

Overtime, however, Camus grew distant to Altea. He restored Dolhr's might and maintained it. He claimed it was necessary for defense. Cornelius was weary of this action, though he would not live long enough to see what was to come. He became inexplicably ill and would soon die. He left control of his kingdom to his wife, Nyna, as his only son, Aion, was not ready for the throne. A decade later and Nyna also suffered a similar fate. No one suspected foul play, save for the royal advisor, Nyx. No one suspected that she poisoned the king and the queen; it was too absurd of a notion at the time. Nyx was playing a very dangerous game, for she wanted power, and she was going to use Altea to get it. She had heard rumor that deep in the fortress city was a tome of great power. She wanted it for herself, but she needed an excuse to tear Dolhr apart to find it. So she plotted to start another war. With the king and queen dead, all she had to do was to manipulate the new, young king. Everything was going according to plan for her, until it took a turn for the better. When she found a dead Aion by the former queen's bedside, she rejoiced. With a touch of Necromancy, she now had an even better puppet to control Altea with.

Oh did I say it was going to probably take me 3 days to get this done?
    Well, sorry to say but
finally read this. Don't' see any problem with this so long as the ships they used in the war aren't using cannons or gunpowder of any kind. gunpowder is a big nono.

Someone pick a time for Aion and Achlys to arrive. Incorporate it into a post or something when the situation would allow it. Like, tack in that someone, somehow, someway, shape, or form, notice the wagon approaching.

                            Spoiler:
Somewhere between the line of Divinity and Desecration, Between Mortality and Eternity, lies the Agenda of a being who's set a plan into motion, and has as much time as they desire to see it carry out. Where wars and immidiate interactions between violent races are the work of the Gods, a Divine being is pure. A Elf may not Lie; a stain of divinity. Each race was an exemplar of a divine beleif or trait. Each race was a stain on the face of existance, and there were those who believed such even before the seven heroes were chosen and their battle with divinity was carried out. They were the radicals; the insane; the misunderstood. Before the war against divinity, they would remain unsure of themselves. Before the advent of magic, they would remain powerless. Before civilization, they would remain scattered.

However, with the passing of these things, a plan may finally be set into motion. Hundreds, Thousands of years worth of planning to create the perfect being to reject the stain of divinity. Skilled people combined the powers of Noroi and Alchemist; Of Mortal and Immortal. Somewhere between the lines so firmly cut into this world, there would lay an answer. Terrible things became of the experiments. Even more terrible things became of those who were experimenting. Afterall, Divine Law was Law. It could not be broken, it simply had to be out-done. Instead of force their way through a universal truth of reality, the experimenters had to make something that was outside of its definition....

                            ...

Mateveivh awoke in her cell. She was wracked with the same nightmare. the same premonition that she was more than just a slave girl. She was...a monster? Regardless of what she was, or wasn't, she was a slave. a puppet to be used and discard by the men and women who oversaw her. Tomarrow, she would be discarded.

For several years, as long as Mateveivh could remember, the "keepers" as she called them would train her and others. They sought to hone and perfect the strengths of the races they had gathered into their slave pens. Humans would become sword masters, Yun and Elves potent mages of Nature, and so on. Mateveivh was Human, so she was to understand and learn the blade...but it never felt right in her hands. Her training left her battered and bruised. They tried to teach her magic, but she had as much magical aptitude as a Yaju. They tried to teach her Alchemy, but she could not understand it. She was useless. She would be "discarded" for a better sample.

The girls who were discarded were raped, and then killed. They didn't want the children of the discarded, but they didn't mind using their bodies for the simple pleasures they had forgone in the name of progress. Mateveivh had been molested by them before. She was disgraced by their actions, and her dignity was dwindling. She wanted to do to them what they did to her. To make their hearts suffer like hers did. She wanted to be them, and for them to be her...

                            ...

I awoke to a man screaming in agony. Several others did, as well, and by the time we were dressed and prepared for a fight, The Captain had come up from the holding cells and told us one of the slave humans had gotten out of line. He figured to promote the moral of the slave men by letting them have their way with the useless human girl, Mateveivh. However, one took it as a chance to strike back against the Captain, and the captain put him down. We were ordered to return to our rooms as rest, while the actual night watch were summoned to deal with the mess. The Captain dismissed each of us, by name, and congratulated us on our timely response.

The next day, I awoke. I got dressed and went to my post to a scene of horror. I was a Tower Guard, I stood in the tower and watched the grounds. I got up to the top of the tower to find Harluin bleeding out. I was too shocked to speak, or ask what happened, but I ran to her. She simply lay there, eyes wide in horror. She watched me as if I were a monster. I asked what happened.

"She knows each of us....Our faces....our lies....You were just here, John...You did this to me...." Harluin twitched a bit, as if to back away from me, but her body simply quit, and she died with the look of horror on face. I stood up to gaze out over the lookout. Similar scenes had played out in the wake of the Slave Revolt. I could see the dead in the other watch towers. I could see the bodies of guard and slave alike, strew about. I gazed at the grounds intently. I only knew how to watch and fire a bow accurately. What would I see?

Slaves died both against and with the guards. Some took up arms against the guards, and some stood beside the guards. The primary fight happened at the gate to the testing grounds. But...why did it look like the men holding the doors closed were attacked from behind? I had to get a closer look. I climbed down, grabbing my bow and blade. Something about the look in Harluin's lifeless eyes told me that the truth would come at the price of my life, just as it did hers.

                            ...

Several months after the slave revolt at the "Farming Community" of Summerwind Dale, a full investigation was launched by Sanctuary. Apparently, the farming community was being used as a dark testing ground to commit unspeakable acts to members of varying races. Cheif Investigator Triss Gava had little to say on the matter. What she disclosed as that little to no magic was used in the final confrontation. The magical seals holding doors closed and slaves in their pens were released by the slavers themselves, or at least someone in control of the seals. Triss seemed distraught. It didn't make sense that the slavers would simply start their own revolt. Bodies had already be cleaned up and the scene prepared, but nothing made sense. It was as if the captain himself had given the order to sabotage the compound. Only he would have that authority, right? However, from what Triss could tell, the Captain was the first person killed. His body was found in a slave's cell. While the scene was messy, the Investigators where about to pin the holding areas of each slave to each body, except the cell whose label was scratched out beyond recognition where the Captain was found dead, stripped of his keys and badges of authority.

From what the captain could tell, the slave was a human girl of little potential. She was frail and unskilled. So why was she the only body unaccounted for? Triss would visit the grounds again and again, until she finally asked for help from outside sources. More radical alchemists and mages. She finally commissioned a criminal Alchemist, known for his misdeeds involving blood and bodies, to examine key locations. She eyes widened in horror at his words when they arrived at the first location--the Cell where the captain had been found.

"Anything special about a human laying in a bunch of Yaju blood?"

Powers: While Mateveivh is weak in nearly all departments a normal human would be, and has no aptitude for the bestial powers of the Yaju, she remains an anomaly among anomalies. As a Yaju, she can assume the form of the animal she is closely tied to, which in this case is the Human. To "Become Human", she must understand and learn about the target in question. Once she has, Mateveih can assume the form of that human. The Change is as natural as a Yaju's transformation to an animal, which makes her transformation both perfect, and terrifying in the eyes of the Advocates, who know of her existance, but not where to find her.

Gear: Mateveivh, since the slave revolt, has kept simple things. She stole some loosely fitting leather armor and weapons from the revolt, giving her a a good military grade backpack to carry things around in, and necessary camping supplies. She uses a trio of spears to set up a makeshift tent, and for hunting. She has a small shield and a short sword--the weapon's she was forcibly trained to use, that she kept for combat with more human foes.

Unlike most vagabonds, Mateveivh is loaded, having stolen as much currency as she could get.

                            Appearance:
Before you stands a tall, beautiful girl. She seems almost otherworldly, not for extraordinary beautiful, but for how "human" her beauty seems, for lack of a better term. She is the epitome of human attraction, but not nessicarily sex appeal. Simply she appears to be the ideal human. She sports dark brown hair and curls and dances about her head, forcing the viewer to dig through a dense jungle of locks to find her lovely green eyes. She stands at nearly six feet, but her posture is so relaxed one doesn't notice unless they're near. She's simply so unassuming that she just fades away from your memory and field of view. Someone so human. Someone so ordinary. They can't be important. It's best just to move on.

                            Personality:
Mateveivh is a cunning liar and scoundrel. She acts nice to people, because that's what people want. What SHE Wants is for them to generally suffer like she had to. A Minor conflict of interest that she has time to wait to resolve properly. She murders, steals and does "bad things" to get her way, but only if its safe. She dreads the thought of going back to captivity. While she doesn't mind invading other people's personal space (You know...to stab them) she dislikes others invading her space.

She is a great actor, due to learning and experimenting with her natural talent.

                            Ambitions:
Mateveivh is attempting to create a guild of misfits like herself, created by the mysterious cult that made her and held her as a slave for so long. She does no know how to find them, or if their groups are connected. She wants to become better at killing. While it was forced on her as a slave, she now has a passionate desire to learn to be an effective killer so she can punish authority figures that overstep the bounds she gives them.

                            Factions: N/a

                            Character Connections:
While Mateveivh is aware the authority figures are not happy with this wacky, face-dancing murder and theif, she doesn't know to what extent. Particularly, she is unaware of the Advocate's involvement in searching for her.

                            Notes:

                            race and ability notes;
As a Human-Yaju, Mateveivh is surprisingly normal. She has all the weaknesses of a human, and all the weaknesses of a Yaju, and only the Benefit of being a Yaju; that is, becoming her parent animal--a useless human. Her senses are only slightly hightened due to her Yaju Blood, but she is still has no aptitude for magic. The only benefit is that she remains in her human attire if she transforms, as the clothing still fits! Yay!

"Transforming into a human" entails becoming the animal she perceives. In essence, she becomes a human she knows well and can relate to the "human" archetype. To completely become another person it requires practice and time studying them to do it right. Once she does, however, the resemblance is perfect, from their body, and voice, and sometimes their personalities. She can also preform other minor changes, such as skin, hair and eye color.

Regardless of how Mateveivh changes, she will still revert back to the same form when the change is over or canceled somehow. She can never "replace" what she is, only change it at will.
I gazed up at the sable-haired maiden with eyes so full of warmth it appeared she was crying silently. My trecherous mouth opened, "Why do you look so troubled, Princess?"

Slowly, she moved her eyes from the moon to me. She studied my imperfections before her for what seemed to be a blissful eternity before gracing me with her voice, "I've slain this land's only prince. What use, now, is a princess?"

As the maiden left my presence, so too did my heart.

I have a few issues with the app.

1: You never mention what type of Yaju she is.

2: In the Appearance part, all you mention is the head and height, nothing about clothing or anything else.

I'm sorry but until these are fix, I can not accept this app.
